Wow! The pizza here is disturbing! I love and support small business chains. I’ve eaten here twice before I gave a review. Both times, different pizzas, same overall opinion. It’s really bad! I feel bad for saying it bc the owner seems like such a nice person. I wish them well regardless of my opinions, and remember there are a lot of reviews here who really like this place. Just not for me

Most welcoming place my work crew, and I have been to in a while. They made us feel at home. They showed their small town hospitality, and made us the most heart felt food. Got extra large 1/2 hamburger and 1/2 pepperoni and was excellent. Can definitely tell homemade crust. Hamburger seasoned great.

Excellent pizza ran by an excellent man. Just the stories that we heard about the history of this place is incredible. If you are in Brownwood you absolutely must stop here. Highly recommended totally unique.

Small, quaint but excellent service and the pizza was just amazing! I had the hamburger with jalapenos and it was so very good. The cheese was perfect and the crust was homemade and delicious. If you're in Brownwood you have to stop by.

Awesome made by hand crust n pizza!! We love all kinds. The turkey and ham sandwiches on fresh baked bread are just as good too.

Personally, love small businesses. Gentlemen were sweet and kind. Pizza was good! No complaints at all.

Merle has been based in Brownwood for well over 40 years and his quality hasn't changed for as long as I can remember, fresh ingredients from the the market every week, dough made fresh every night, and with a visual esthetic that looks like it's straight out of a commercial 💯💯💯

Spent over a half hour talking to the owner. An elderly vet who has been making the perfect pizza for over 40yrs. A must if you're in Brownwood TX.

I just ordered a ham and pineapple pizza and a pepperoni pizza half jalapeno so disappointed the large looks like a medium size and a small looks like a personal pizza I paid it for $23 it was not worth it.. SORRY OWNER ADJUST YOUR SIZES

Nice people, but I wish we would have taken the previous review, about it being dry, more seriously. It was not only dry, but the cheese was also minimum. My children, who could eat pizza every day if allowed, did not like it.I felt bad. And offered them something else to eat. It was overpriced and extremely underwhelming! I personally could not stomach it, so I ate a salad from Chick-fil-A. A waste of money….sorry, just being totally honest.

Called for a pickup. Never ate there and super rude customer service. He hung up on me before I ever made my order.

Krispy crust, not a lot of flavor. Really nice people and inexpensive.
