    There were four in our party. We all ordered the same size sirloin steak cooked identically - med. all of our steaks were well done. Mine was about half the size of everyone else’s steak. I asked the waitress why mine was so much smaller than the other three. I was told that the manager was informed and would come talk with me. The manager never appeared and we waited there for an hour after we finished our meal. The piece of meat that I did get was mostly gristle. I finally got a replacement steak after everyone had finished their meal. The salad was good as were the broccoli and mashed potatoes. I was very disappointed with the steak. The fact that the manager did not follow through was also disturbing. Our waitress was excellent and received more than the customary 20%. Probably won’t be going back.

    I was so excited to revisit Chili's, been in quarantine almost two years! Old favorite is chicken quesadillas! These were so burned the cheese melted back into the tortilla! No chips n hot sauce either! What happened to you guys?? Won't be back thats for sure. So disappointed. Wasted money n time.

    If you're looking for something quick this is not the place to go. Ordered meals with 2 appetizers, chips/ salsa & fried pickles. We finished the chips and received a refill then about 15 minutes after that got the fried pickles which were completely burnt (we literally could break them in half and they crumbled all over the place like chips). By the time we saw the server again we had been there over an hour and asked her how long until the food would be ready. She replied "it should be out soon" and went to check but didn't come back around for about 20 minutes to clear the table of the appetizer plates. It was a Sunday after noon with hardly any other tables seated.... we then asked the host how much longer and explained we needed to get back on the road because we were traveling home. She left and came back and said it's almost done and we asked if they could cancel it because we are still 3 hours from home and it's now been almost 1.5 hours since we ordered... she disappeared and some time later the food arrives. We ask for the check so we can eat a little bit and leave quickly and the server lingers at our table talking about how much she hates her job and to take her with us....... terrible food, terrible service. Just avoid it.

    I rated this place 5 stars two years ago, but unfortunately I have to change my review. While the food has always been to my liking, the service is atrocious. Not only do you have to wait possibly up to an hour and a half or more for your food, you sometimes may have to wait almost as long just to get your drink refilled. I feel almost bad for leaving this negative review, because of how much I used to love this place.

    This has to be one of the most dirty chilies I’ve ever been to. The manager on duty was to busy talking to customers who were eating versus making sure the staff had the support or help needed to get tables clean and wiped down. Instead for the whole 2 hours we were there the tables had food still on them. The food was less than sup-par. I think it’s time this location closes or new upper management needs brought in

    Meet some family here in June 23. I've been to this restaurant several times but....There seems to be a new menu lots of new employees and possibly a new cook. We arrived 3pm ordered 3 meals 4 drinks and an appetizer. The appetizer was chips n salsa. The chips were so salty they were inedible. The location was slow only a handful of other guest there. When we requested a replacement for our overly salty chips it took 20 minutes to get them to the table. Our orders which were lunch specials took almost 1 hour and 30 minutes to be brought to us. We spent a total of 2 hours waiting for food and when the meals were brought again some of the food items were so salty you couldn't eat them. When we were given our bill there were errors on the bill making our meal $13 more than it should have been.

    Omg got here when opened with team. Of 30. The bathrooms look they have been cleaned in days dirty Mike had a f game in there.

    We arrived at 12:35 and were seated right away, drink order taken an delivered. We waited over 30 more minutes and no one came to take our order. As one of the waitresses came by I told her how long we were waiting to give our order. She said I’m sorry and we explained that we would be glad to pay for our drinks but we are leaving. Did have to pay for drinks. I have never experienced such poor service or lack of understanding here. Won’t be back. I’ll drive out of town where service and customer care is appreciated.

    Service was awesome. Very busy at the time I visited. Nice place for being in a small town. The food was amazing! The better was ice cold and refreshing beer!

    The food is excellent, probably the best I've had at any Chili's. Kudos to the Chef. The service, not so much. We went at 2:00 pm on Friday, June 17, 2022. Our server, Frances, was delightful. She had a confident & warm presence & seemed very comfortable. The other servers were not professional, seemed not to know what they were doing or what was going on & you could tell they definitely didn't want to be there. We were brought the wrong food, waited 30 minutes for some ranch from the servers who brought us someone else's food. Frances swooped in & brought it right out after we asked her when she came to check on us. We never sat with an empty drink as she was very attentive to our table. Thank you for great service, Frances.

    It was medium busy at this location when I arrived. My family had already ordered for me. My drink was served quickly. After the food arrived, we never saw the waiter again until it was time to pay. He never came by to refill drinks.

    Having a bad experience several months ago, I thought I would try the Brownwood location again. I really want local places to succeed but they also need to be held accountable when there are obvious short comings. The only good thing I experienced there was the waitress was very good. She was hustling and you can tell she was stressed but she put a smile on and watching her wait other tables she was patient and very pleasant. What I have no excuse for is how dirty the restaurant was and serving cold food. And I'm not talking about them being very busy and not having time to wipe things down. I'm talking about neglect over time not deep cleaning. Food in the window seals and walls that have been there a long time, windows not being wiped, everything you touch is sticky, concrete floors not sealed so all the food that drops on the floor gets soaked in the concrete over time and the floors release a strong odor that is musty. I know it's hard running a restaurant in these times with lack of people wanting to work and the quality of work ethic that is declining rapidly, but as an owner or shift manager on duty, there's no excuse for a filthy restaurant. That location is in dire need of a minor remodel "floors" and a major store deep clean. It's not a 24 hour restaurant so it closes at some point, which is when the cleanliness needs to be addressed if you can't maintain it throughout the day. I hope it improves but can't justify going back when you have an uneasy feeling about cleanliness. This is not a knock on the establishment, just a constructive observation that I have observed the few times I have been there.

    Got our drinks in a timely manner but manager had to take our order. Had to wait a long time for refills and kept asking for items we needed. Couldn’t get anymore to drink because the waitress vanished. Wanted to pay and take off my coupon but couldn’t get our waitress to come over. So payed full price because we couldn’t get help. Had to leave cash on the table. We needed boxes and could get those either. Very poor service.

    I’m so sick of how disgusting their food is 9/10 times. Steak is almost always burnt to a crisp on the outside. The “steamed” broccoli is never cooked enough. It’s almost always raw. The steaks we got today were 90% or more fat. Tried to cut off the burnt outside, but the fat throughout the steak was so hard and thick I literally couldn’t. The few pieces I managed to cut off weren’t even chewable. I am not a picky person. I have held back giving negative reviews many times prior. BUT I’m sick of giving this place chances, and wasting my money on meals that get thrown out.

    The Chili's in Brownwood is like a comfy pair of old socks; I don't go often, but when I do it feels like coming home. The staff is awesome, love this place.

    This is by far and wide the worst Chilis I have ever been to. First we waited almost an hour for our food then they brought us the wrong food and tried to make us pay for it. Once we had the right food brought out it was missing sides we had ordered. When we finished our meal they finally brought our sides that we no longer wanted since we were now ready to leave. They tried to force us to pay for the wrong food items and the sides we did not get with our meals. We were told by the team lead to shut up and pay. The staff was very rude and clueless as to what they were doing. They tried insulting us and had all around poor manners. Never will me or my family eat at this location again. I will also let everyone I know what a horrible place this is.

    The worst restaurant I have ever visited in my life I was waiting for a takeout order for 30 minutes and the order was never ready and I even gave them a tip. The treatment I just received in this place is disrespectful

    We had about a 40 minute wait but I must say it was well worth it. I got the chicken bacon ranch Quesadilla and it was amazing. I loved the lady who took care of us. Friendly and attentive with all 5 of us

    I ordered the shrimp and steak fajitas. It was delicious. However, the steak was mainly chewy cartilage which is gross. I still would come back to this place. I wll not order it again. Staff is super friendly. Starting out with southwestern egg roll was yummy!!!

    Worst Chili's I have ever been to. Me and two coworkers stopped by for lunch after driving 5hours for work related business. The waitress herself was nice and polite. All 3 of us ordered the lunch Burger and soup/salad. We got our chips and salsa fast. After a while the waitress comes back and said they lost our order, so we ordered again. Then it took forever for the food to come out. We were about to leave when it did get to the table but we just asked for to go boxes because we still have to drive back home. My coworker asked to speak with manager, when she came she was rude and said we should've told her earlier and she could have made it faster. She did give us like $3 discount but it wasn't really good enough. Especially when the manager acts and looks very unprofessional with her colored hair and dirty dress attire.

    We live out of town and order traveling thru town. Ordered 4 to 5 times and bad experience every time thru Order to Go They are supposed to bring out to you. This time we waited outside for 30 minutes. Finally went inside. A number of employees saw me counter, took some time for someone to come. Then, oh sorry, someone set your order here and didn't let anyone know. Same story time after time. Also, very expensive. Beef fajitas cost, tax, tip for one person almost $30

    Took forever to get our food, had to ask for ranch dressing twice then it took a really long time. Asked the waitress if she could put the closest t.v. on football & was told the remote was lost for that t.v. The waitress was not very good and didn't check on us to see if we needed anything else.

    Have been to this restaurant a number of times between 11 am and 1230. It’s never busy mid week . We Always sit in the bar area and get our drinks fairly quickly but then have to wait 30-45 minutes for our meals. Even at that the Queso is always cold and always delivered after the chips and salsa. Never get all of meal at once and then we don’t don’t see the server again until we are done. Seems they never have enough cooks or servers and the servers they do have in the bar area are more interested in those actually sitting at the bar. Todays experience several customers had to get up and go seek out their server for things they needed. If this happened once or twice it wouldn’t be a problem but for the last 6 times is inexcusable.

    It's a large chain so it is what it is.... The staff was excellent. Our party was 15 people and they were willing to add an extra table so we weren't sitting on top of one another. The food was on par with a chain, but was cooked and presented properly. Overall a good experience and I will return.

    We were seated promptly. However, getting anyone to come and even take our drink order proved impossible. After waiting for about 15 minutes and watching them serve someone seated after us, we decided to leave and go down the road to a restaurant with phenomenal customer service. It’s sad to see the state of this restaurant bc it used to be one of our favorites. Too many bad experiences recently so we likely will not be back.

    I'm going to start off by saying our trip was a terrible experience. We went In with my husband's parents, the drinks took a while to get brought out, wait staff was not very attentive, I ordered a burger and they sent it out completely wrong the first time, the second time it took about 20 more minutes to get another out which isn't the issue, it's when my burger came out wrong again when I had kinda already lost my appetite while waiting. By the time I got my food WRONG for the second time everyone was done and ready to go, when my burger was brought out the second time it was almost tossed to me, the way it was handed it almost got dropped, the waiter who brought it ( who was not our waiter BTW) took off, our waiter kept forgetting to bring my drink which I had asked for 3 times, my father in law asked for ranch multiple time to which he never got it. When we asked to speak to a manager we were told it would be a minute because she was the cook. She came out and had a bad attitude about the whole situation, she did take both dishes off of the bill but if we hadn't said anything about them attempting to charge us for the two burgers they made wrong, we would have paid $120. The waiter did have it right on the ticket, they also attempted to charge for things we never received. This was the second bad experience from here so we personally will not be coming back.

    We happened to visit on the night that they were short staffed so I tried not to Be too negative Because of that . My order didn't come out right they did try to fix it , but it took so long everyone in my party was done eating so I took my salad to go. The staff were wonderful , I just remember the food being better. And this chili's happens to be a really old one needs to be refurbished. I will say they make the best salsa out of any one of the salsas I've ever had in any restaurant it was delicious .I should have just had a big bowl of that oh I did, lol.

    Never been at Chili's before this was my very first time had an awesome time without alcohol even though they serve it the food was awesome cooked to my order brought to me by my waitress with very good manners very polite outstanding place to go out to eat even if you want to have a little alcohol just take it easy on the alcohol enjoy the meal I recommend it.

    This place used to be really good and then the staff changed for the most part. Now the food quality isn't good and you have to be really lucky to get one of the good experienced wait staff or you will never see you waiter again and never get a drink refill or anything else for that matter. Service and food simply are not worth the prices being asked now and business should be taken elsewhere until the staff issues can be worked out.

    Slow service, we waited for 1 1/2 hours for food. Nothing complicated very simple menu items. Ultimately I think this was a kitchen problem not the waitress. Also the lady upfront seating people was in the back by kitchen in between seating people and bussing tables puffing on her vape!

    I always enjoy their lunch chicken fajitas. They are tasty and fills you up. I usually take some home with me. If you sign up for their rewards program most weeks you can either get a free appetizer or free dessert. This is a picture of my free birthday dessert.

    Large party of 8 and then 10 on Superbowl Sunday. Drinks (beer and margaritas) were abundant and tasty. Food was so-so. Service was slow, but acceptable. Across the street from our hotel. Adequate for the party size. Nothing exceptional
