The food and service has always been amazing at this Brownwood location, the staff have always been friendly & helpful. But today I went with my mom & my sandwich was so small, so I opened it up & there were literally 2 small shaved pieces of beef & 2 pieces of bacon that looked like it had been one snapped in half. I did ask them to redo my sandwich as it looked nothing like the menu board & they did remake it, but looked like they just added one more slice to the sandwich. I am highly disappointed in this group as they've always been amazing. I know prices are skyrocketing and they need to cut back, but this was really ridiculous.

Their app is not correct and I can't order when i need to for lunch, so I always have to call it in. The food is delicious, but when I went, their credit card machine was down. The young girl at the drive-through was not at all helpful, and thankfully I had some cash on me. I think it's going to be a long while before I go back.

Incompetent staff! Order was made wrong. When I arrived to pick it up, it was sitting on the counter waiting. When I gave my name to the cashier, he looked and said it was still being made, so I took a seat. Five minutes an older employee comes from the back, looks at the bag on the counter, and calls out my name! So my order sat getting cold because the cashier was unable to comprehend the ticket! This is not my first bad experience here. It will be my last!

Love the food!! And usually great service. But they do NOT ever answer the phone. And there also was NO seal on my door dash order!! Which was a shocker to me!

Used to be my favorite place but recently it’s been horrible.. have been in 4 times in the last month and a half and always order the Cobb salad.. I understand when your out of things but I asked today to make sure what they didn’t have.. was told the only thing they were out of was the eggs.. I was ok with that BUT yet again for the forth time my said came with no croutons/bread slices(either one would have been fine) also absolutely no Turkey to be found in the whole salad! ( I know they had Turkey as my daughter got it on her sandwich! )When I asked about the croutons I was hatefully told they haven’t had them for years and that it never has came with them in years… funny because ALL my previous ones had them! Such a rude lady in the kitchen!! If it wouldn’t have been for the 2 youngest ladies working here I would have walked out! Come on Brownwood schlotzskys, get a grip on your employee and teach them how to make the salads correctly! I mean even your pictures online show bread slices/croutons!

Kid working register was not friendly. It was 8:00pm the door said they closed at 9:00 pm. The rude cashier began locking the front doors so customers had to walk around to the side and around the side of the building in the dark parking lot. He was stacking all chairs around the customer who were eating and kept sighing heavily every time he came near our table. Food was good, punk teenage kid Harley Davidson hat should be fired!

It's been many years since I've been to a Schlotsky's but, having moved recently, this one is conveniently located. I ordered a chicken avocado flatbread and unsweetened tea. I was delighted that there was a tray of nice, clean slices of oranges, lemons, and limes to put in my tea. Then I saw an interesting selection of hot sauces that I was unfamiliar with. When my meal came, it was so large l and thought I wouldn't be able to eat it all. After sampling the sauces, I found a wonderful combination of 2. My food was so delicious that, when I finished it all, I wanted more. I can't wait to go back! As the cost of everything, especially fast food, keeps going up, this Schlotsky's was not only a fantastic cuisine find, it was easy on my wallet.

Food was good. Didn't get it accurate sandwich was not supposed to have mayo but it did. They usually get it correct. Good otherwise.

Yum! We love the Flatbread pizza, the original, salads. Having a Schlotzsky's in Brownwood is such a boon.

The service was good. Too bad I couldn't say that for the small turkey club. The bun was crumbly and the the sandwich was dry and mostly tasteless.

Just stopped here for lunch and, to my surprise, discovered what may be the best beer selection in Brownwood. Taps, bottles and cans. I’m getting pretty tired of self styled brewpubs that sell nothing but Anheuser-Busch products. From now on if I want a good beer in Brownwood I’m headed to Schlotzsky’s.

Clean, friendly, and pleasant. My sandwich was delicious. Topped off the experience with one of their yummy Brownies. Was a 'to go' order, ❤️ so being at home and sharing with my two Labs was fun. "Fun and yummy" .....can't get any better than that!

Love this place. Owners are great people. I must say we were the only people inside for the longest. It almost seemed that only 2 people were working the entire place. It took a few to get our sandwiches. Another customer came in and stood at counter 5-7 minutes before anyone walked to the front to help her. The tea tasted old/soured. The girl working made fresh and poured it into already made tea.

Okay I dropped a huge glass of tea when trying to help my mom get to table everyone there was friendly and helpful and made me feel like this happens alot and I appreciated them for helping us out. Also I love schlotzskys and always will. Best sandwiches and drinks and chips .

When you get what you order, it’s great. 90% of the time, however, they either mess up your order or forget something. Don’t recommend unless you have the time to check every single item in your order and don’t mind sending it back for them to correct it.

Highly recommend! The staff is always friendly and courteous, usually greeting you as you walk in and always with a smile. The food is yummy! We haven't had any bad experiences. In fact, picked up pizzas just last week at the request of my daughter for her lunch at school. They were great! The updates on the restaurant look amazing and it is always clean!! The owner is friendly and I have seen him out working, cleaning tables, and checking on guests. Definitely check them out!

Great sandwiches!

One of the best lunch spots in town! Schlotsky’s has really stepped their game up since the remodel. Staff is very friendly and the food always comes out fast. Not to mention…. Free cookies at lunch! My only gripe is that the food all comes out packed to-go even if you’re eating it there.

Few Karen's whining,but people should know 30 min till closing go feed your piehole some place else. It's all about respect. Great place though..

Ordered an Avacado Cobb and a Ceasar Salads. Recieved two Ceasar salads instead. Same thing happened last visit. Was told they no longer offer medium or large cups. The salads were corrected kinda. My ceaser tasted like a cucumber salad and my wifes Cobb had old brown slimy avacado. Wife said the brownie with the wrong label was good though.

I hate to give a 1 star, but I got the avocado Cobb salad today and some of the greens were rotten. It’s shocking that they would serve this to people.

Dined after church the restaurant was full of smoke ...the only fountain drinks were coke an diet coke .... employees out of uniform...took 45 minutes to get order...we had to pick up order and bring to our table ....we asked about the smoke and the employee just laughed and said oh maybe that is why my eyes are burning ....the pizza had no sauce it was just meat and cheese...very dry....very disappointed will never dine there again ...it was like a bar atmosphere with all the smoke and the loud and rude people

As more time passes it seems like it is harder to get a correct order and they are often closed at strange times. Sometimes it is clear the employees there do not want to be there and they have acted this out this towards me and other patrons with intentional exaggerated slowness and their overall behaviors. It is rare the drink machine or tea is stocked with any options outside of about what I can count on one hand or there is enough ice. You won't be able to find that out until you go to fill up your cup either and you realize you have wasted money on a drink you can't have because you get no choices and may as well have water anyway. I think they slack on ordering food items too because it's often they're "out" of half the menu and there's times I've just given up trying to order entirely because it gets irritating when you've already tried to make another choice for the third time. For the second time in probably two weeks now, drove by to find the establishment closed and signs on the door. They stopped doing the Wednesday special here at this location. It's really a number of things and with the way some of the employees have acted I'm not too keen to return. The bathroom usually needs to be cleaned when I've been there, and the TVs that they installed either don't work or they are turned off. We got better service during covid honestly, and this place was busier then too. Don't think it takes an expert to figure out why. It's looking like a write off of this location. Maybe it's ok in another town but this one has lost the magic for sure and something is very wrong that management needs to address.

I am giving a 2 because the sandwich was fairly good but the experience was not! I went through the drive up. The man did not speak except for telling me the amount I owed. While he was ringing up the order he was scratching his belly underneath his T-shirt at his belt line and gave my card back to me with the same hand. When he gave me my order he did the same belly scratch and gave me my food with the same hand. It’s disgusting to be given your card and your food from someone who has been scratching his stomach under his shirt. Will not be back.

Ordered smoked turkey avocado without mayo and unsweetened tea. Got some sandwich with no avocado, Mayo everywhere and sweet tea. I love Schlotzsky's but this one is going down hill.

Been Eating Schlotzkys for 20 years, Been An Amazing Place To Eat, But The Last Few times I've gone, Service Has Been Bad, Been Out Of Meats, And The Atmosphere In The Building Is Like the Employee Hate being there. Sad To See This Place Not As Up To Par As It Use To Be.

We stopped in to grab lunch on the way through town. Apparently they were having computer problems on that day. We ordered lunch, and the manager told us he couldn't accept card due to the computer issue. I offered to pay cash, but he told us "lunch was on them, and he wanted to take care of their customers". What a wonderful surprise! We will definitely be back.

The food was perfectly prepared to the standards we were expecting from Schlotzsky’s. But we were treated special. A “wisdom” discount was given (unsolicited) and free cookies distributed to the patrons before we left. Next time we travel through Brownwood we’ll probably stop again.

Way to expensive. Spent over $35.00 for 2 people. Soup.and large sandwich are overpriced. This is a fast food sandwich shop..not restaurant dining. Also the cashier gave me a bowl which i thought was for soup. When i asked her at the table she said for tips. Hmm...with that price and fast food...i don't think so. 😟

The young girl cashier was super rude and dry. Sorry if you’re having a bad day but you can’t take it out on the customer. Sandwiches were bland and unsatisfying. Atmosphere is dark and dingy feeling, almost makes you uncomfortable to be inside. Only giving two stars because the older lady that brought out our food was very sweet/came to see if we needed anything and the soup was good. I used to love Schlotzsky’s but this one kinda sucks.

It is good food, I love their original sandwich as usual but the sauces were just overwhelming on the flatbreads.

They make their own buns..Drive through better to call ur order in due to traffic. Customer services was fast&ppl were great.
