Warriors Heart is an incredible place. Between the staff at WH, the location & the clients, you can’t find another place that offers the same experience, education & therapeutic value. To have a facility run by first responders and first responders as clients is unique in its self. It is a relaxed and inviting environment with no outside distractions other then the ones you bring with you. I can’t say enough about how much WH has helped me. As a firefighter & paramedic I was worried that I would not fit into the Warrior Class of clients that they are used to. When I arrived I was treated as a brother in service just as everyone was. This is truly a safe healing place for military, fire, police & EMS. I was assigned to sober living with a navy seal, a member of delta force and a police officer. We have a paramedic in the next group and several more police officers. It doesn’t matter what uniform you wore, it only matters that you are in need and Warriors Heart will help you to heal.

My husband needed help, he was in a very dark place. We set up payments and received the "welcome home" packet. We went shopping for all the things he needed to bring. The day we were supposed to travel to Warriors Heart, we received a message that my husband actually cannot be apart of their program. They denied him because he takes an antipsych medication for his PTSD symptoms. This caused my husband a GREAT deal of stress and anxiety. I asked to speak to the clinician at least 3 times. They said they would call but I never got a call. I just wanted an explanation. My husbands psychologist was even willing to talk with them. The day he was denied I verified that we would NOT be charged since he was denied, they confirmed that I would NOT be. We live in Texas and I found a similar facility that would accept him into their program but it was in Utah. I went to buy his plane ticket and was denied by my bank. Come to find out, Warriors Heart charged me over $600 even though he was denied and never spent 1 minute there. They will not give me a number to talk to the director. They say he will call. Still no call. Now my husband is at risk of losing his spot at the Utah facility. I'm at a loss. Y'all failed my husband and my family.

Dear Warriors Heart I am writing to express my deep concern and disappointment regarding the current state of affairs at your rehabilitation center. Despite the substantial financial investment involved 2,200 day, several critical issues have come to my attention that demand immediate resolution. Firstly, it is distressing to report the existence of broken stairs within the facility. This poses a severe safety risk to patients and their families and requires urgent attention to ensure a safe environment. Furthermore, I have learned that the medical team occasionally closes due to meetings, leaving patients without immediate access to necessary care. This raises concerns about the prioritization of administrative matters over the well-being of those undergoing rehabilitation. Additionally, the absence of elective activities on weekends, such as art, metal shop, or movie nights, is disheartening. Patients undergoing rehabilitation not only deserve but benefit significantly from recreational and therapeutic options during their recovery journey. The safety of clients is further compromised by the condition of the bus used for off-site meetings, which reportedly lacks working lights. Ensuring the safety of transportation is crucial, and I urge you to address this matter promptly. Lastly, it has come to my attention that client relations appear to be understaffed, potentially impacting the quality of care and support provided to patients and their families. Adequate staffing in this area is essential for maintaining open communication and addressing the needs of those involved in the rehabilitation process. I implore you to prioritize these concerns and take immediate action to rectify the mentioned issues. It is crucial to uphold the standards expected from a rehabilitation center, especially given the significant financial commitment involved. Thank you for your prompt attention to these matters. I trust that your commitment to excellence will lead to positive changes that enhance the overall experience for all individuals under your care. Sincerely, Dennys

17 years active duty and would not be alive without Warriors Heart. Inpatient Oct 22-Dec 22 and sober living after until March 23. Fantastic facility, great staff and huge support from fellow warriors there.

This is yet another niche program that purports to and sells itself on the support of veterans and first responders. Unqualified and unethical therapeutic staff, and an unfathomable lack of understanding of addiction and addictive tendencies and behaviors. A reprehensible lack of support for the families of those addicted, even when those family members are also in public service and in service to their country. Warriors Heart was a complete let-down and leaves those desperate for help nothing but heartbroken. A complete betrayal to the creed of leaving no man or woman behind.

The most incredible journey and great benefit I've been able to experience in my lifetime. After a long, hard, defeating career of drug and alcohol abuse I found myself at the end of my rope. Broken and addicted, I was contemplating suicide and destroying my entire family. Warriors Heart staff, ownership, therapists, counselors, Jiu-jitsu, K'9 program, and everyone involved had a part in saving my life. I became acquainted with every single Warriors Heart employee on a first named basis. I felt comfortable and right at home throughout the duration of my stay. So comfortable in fact, that i decided to stay for 7 months while I put the pieces of my life back together. Through Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, the K-9 program, on site yoga sessions, massage therapy, and the metal fabrication shop; I gained my confidence back as a constructive member of society again. I've succeeded in martial arts Jiu-jitsu tournaments and won. My family members enjoy my company and I've formed relationships and a bond with my children that is unbreakable and priceless. I now have 2 years of continuous sobriety, and I'm currently free from the restraints of drugs and alcohol. Before going to Warriors Heart I was sincerely contemplating suicide. I was financially broke and spiritually bankrupt. Destroying everything and everyone around me. Warriors Heart saved my life, my career, and my sanity. I have formed lasting relationships, with the like minded military and first responder community who I can trust and turn to when life gets difficult. Today I have lifelong friends in the Warrior community. I belong to a community outreach that puts forth an effort to make sure that Warriors Heart alumni are thriving and maintain a healthy lifestyle after completion of the program. This is only possible because of the Warriors Heart program integrity and lifestyle. I cannot say enough great things about Warriors Heart in its entirety. There is literally no other place like it on Earth. I'm so appreciative and grateful to have had a second chance at life. Thank you Warriors Heart.

I’ve only worked for Warriors Heart now for almost two months but I would like to share my experience so far. I have been working other jobs for over 20 years and I have never felt so wanted and appreciated like I do at Warriors Heart they treat you like you are part of their team. The employees are so respectful to each other and also to the people they serve. I am so proud to say “I am employed with Warriors Heart”♥️ They really care for the staff and the people they serve.

This is in response to M.K.'s comment...Hello, I don't work for Warriors Heart and nope, not getting paid to comment here either. I usually don't respond or make reviews about anything but I can hear nothing but hate and discontent in your review and I'm thinking to myself, "did we go to the same place?" Even though I'm what was dubbed a "dash-2" (it's an inside thaang) I can say with with my head up and with certainty, Miss Linda, Gary Sinise and the professional team at Warriors Heart saved my life. I was about to be one of the "22" and had already told my family it wasn't their fault and loved them and made my peace with it until I received a phone call out of the blue. "Just checking on you", yeah right, more like divine intervention with SgtMaj J. Christ dialing the numbers. Ok I'm rambling now. Back to W.H. I can't let you talk bad about the people I love without a rebuttal at least, because these folks are some black magic, Jedi mind trick, mind reading, high speed-low drag, tier 1 miracle working counselors and my friend they truly do care. You just have to be ready to open up and tell all of those deep dark secrets that you've hid from mom and dad your whole life. Yep I'm talking about that secret too😉... ALL OF THEM! Leave the pride outside and humble yourself because the end result can be a brand new life full of love and happiness with a dash of joy. I wish you and anyone reading this all the best and remember kids, "Don't Dabble!" And to Tom Spooner, Josh , Lisa, Alisa, Connie and my personal counselor, you know who you are.....much love and Semper Fi... ✌️😎🤙

Thank you to the Warriors Heart team and my fellow Warriors. The healing I received from attending the 42 day program was immeasurable. It truly is "Warriors Healing Warriors". I have attached a poem that was inspired by a term I created while describing my thought processing difficulties in a process group, Terminal Trauma Time Traveler. As a man with a long career of substance abuse and a rolodex full of combat trauma, I consider my time spent at Warriors Heart a significant milestone on my journey through life. I called in a time of severe desperation, you answered the call and provided me with the psychological rebirth that I was in dire need of. Similar to me joining the Army and finding a team that collectively provided me purpose for 24 years of success, the team of Warrior clients and Warriors Heart staff renewed a solid sense of purpose to propel me forward productively. Thank you to every Warrior there during my stay. God bless you all, as I have been blessed by the entire experience. Regards, Andy

It was a good program but they lied about the cost. They told me my insurance would pay but they never even sent it through my insurance. Four payments of $961 on top of the $350 supposedly for "incidentals" that you never get back. It turned out to be just another rip off. It's not worth it.
