Brookshire Brothers

Grocery store Gas station Deli Tobacco shop

👍👍 It's truly a blessing the Canyon lake has a grocery store like this one. Everything you could possibly need all under one roof. It surprising but often on Friday nights they have a band outside and sell steaks in the fixins for $20.... They even have blackberry cobbler and apple pie. I also really... People often mention store, grocery, good, lake, fresh, selection, love, local, great, clean,

This store is located by the beautiful lake park. The store is very new, with clean inside and parking. Lots of choices of vegetables, meat and frozen items. First time shopping at this small employee based chain store. I hope they will continue to do well.

It's truly a blessing the Canyon lake has a grocery store like this one. Everything you could possibly need all under one roof. It surprising but often on Friday nights they have a band outside and sell steaks in the fixins for $20.... They even have blackberry cobbler and apple pie. I also really like the sushi and deli on the inside. The produce is always fresh and meat is a little on the expensive side but what you would expect for a small town butcher. The prime ribs, and ribeyes perfectly cut for order. They also have a lot of extra items for grilling and the lake life, like floaties, and tubes, and water socks. All the stuff you would expect is there just next to the lake here and servicing the folks going to Canyon lake Park. They even have a pharmacy and the other cool thing is they have the widest selection of Bluebonnet ice cream you'll ever see! The design and lighting of the building is spectacular with the open clear story windows that keep the building lit year round. I love this place!

Outstanding local store. Concerts, pet-friendly, multiple on-tap beers, indoor/outdoor dining areas. On premise butcher, tasty bakery. Reasonable pricing.

I love this grocery store. It's the biggest , cleanest , full size grocer in canyon lake. The produce always looks and tastes fresh , the bakery has so many options on breads , rolls , cakes , and more. The deli section offers breakfast in the morning. From biscuits to tacos to breakfast plates and sandwiches. Then in the afternoon and evening , there are fried chicken and fish options , bbq brisket , sausage , boudain , side dishes , and sometimes desserts. The meat market has a butcher on site. The meat choices are great , seafood looks good , fresh luncheon meats and cheeses. It's a really nice store where you can find just about all you need and more. I could write a book on everything this store has. A couple of extra features are the live music on weekends and a classic car show held monthly. They also have a gas station with a smaller convenience store. Big town store option in the area of small town community.

Friendly staff. Outrageous prices. You're better off spending the extra gas and going to heb/curbside. $70 dollars can take you pretty far in a normal grocery store.. not here. Produce is also way over priced and is lower quality

I love the hot food here… fried chicken… get it! A lot of things here to knock you off your diet, but also a lot of good things if you are trying to stay healthy! Sales are good when you can catch them and it’s so nice to have clean store with good produce so close to where I live. And where I do love this store and this should be a 5-star review, I’ll tell you why it’s not. People should treat you well no matter what you look like. I am a local… I have a local business and I try to shop local as much as possible. The nicest way I can put this is, I don’t look like most people around here, and on more than a couple occasions there has been a couple of “ladies” that seem to go out of their way to be rude. I’m not going to put a one star review and fault the store for having some “intolerant and ignorant” people working here, because 90% of the staff is always friendly and pleasant. Regardless of how you want to perceive me, I’ve been in this area over 30 years … not new. I was born very close to here over 50 years ago. Get over it. Thank you to everyone that’s always made me feel welcome in your store. I don’t want to be vague either, so as not to single anyone out, maybe you need a full staff training how to treat people that buy rice, soy sauce, sweet and sour, seaweed, and other stereotypically Asian foods. Next time I’m in here, which I will be, because like I said, I do love this store and I am a local… please don’t ignore me. Please don’t look at me up and down like I don’t belong here. And please don’t treat me like I’m doing something wrong in general. I’m just shopping… same as you folks that don’t have eyes that point up at the ends. Just saying. Be respectful to everyone. You don’t know who lives here and is tired of being treated like a second class citizen.

We are pretty new to the area and decided to take a shopping look at Brookshire Brothers store and we were pleasantly surprised! I love to find the sales and get the sale at the register, no paper coupons! The staff are very helpful and fun to talk to! We have definitely been back!! Mj

Great store and has many items you can find in the bigger stores. This store keeps it simple and easy to get what you need. From my observation, it looks like all the all the employees have this IDGAF look on their faces. The cashier seemed like I had inconvenienced him by being there. I bagged my own groceries and ran out of bags, and he had to refill. It seemed like it was such an inconvenience. Loved the store, just not the people who work there.

Decent grocery store with a good selection for a store outside of a metroplex. Expect to pay reasonably higher prices due to shipping costs. The beer aisle is longer than any other refrigerated aisle.

Brookshire Brothers is an amazing local grocery store! It’s a game changer to have a grocery store with fresh items just up the street. My husband and I love listening to their live music on the weekends too!

This is an amazing grocery store that has tons of fresh produce and even sushi. The lunch here is very and yummy at the same time. You can get a fried chicken 8-pieces for around $13. This usually includes several breasts and thighs. There is a pharmacy inside and also quite a few little vacation knickknacks like flip-flops and hats and stuff. It is kind of similar to a small HEB with a back patio that sometimes has and Texas country bands. We love it!

Okay store but pricing way too high. They know they can advantage because of no competition. I think they will be competitive when HEB builds close by.

Clean, organized and much needed on the north side of the lake!! Great fresh fruit and veggie selection, awesome deli and salad bar, serves all meals FRESH with unique items. DEF NOT your typical grocery store!! Even has daily Happy Hours with local craft beers and wine!! It's a must-go place! And cool views of the lake and sunset from the outside dining patio area...like I said, not your typical 'grocery store'! *would have given it 5*'s but the regular, every day items can be a little pricey.

Impressive store. We popped in for ice-cream and they had a wide selection. Everything else looked great, the check-out was quick and easy.

Though it doesn't have everything in the world on it's shelves it has what you need. The people working there were most helpful. A very clean and organized store

If you're buying wine, leave your kids at home. I've never seen a place want to card the kids before. Weird. Overall it's good store with a nice selection.

Grocery store was clean. Love that there is still cashiers. Wasn't to happy with the cooked food are. 2 guys were always hiding in back and when one came forward he actually spit in front of everyone in a trash can. I mean he launched it to the trash can. Pretty gross around serving food.

For a small-town grocery, Brookshire Brothers is well-equipped. Their produce is very good. There is a wide variety of other goods for family shopping. There is a very good supply of beer/wine/soda and picnic supplies, as well. There is a small pharmacy, and a hot food to go or eat in place, too.

They had a wonderful selection... Just felt a little priced out of the running... Staff were just wonderful, store was neat and clean... The poor plants out hadn't been watered to the point most were dying... Being a plant lover that did frustrate me, since the employees are suppose to be the owners... Why throw away your investments by not caring for them? Little things like that shows a lot more to potential customers than all the smiles....

Nice grocery store that has plenty of staple groceries. I particularly noticed their large variety of grilling sausage links. Some name brand, but the small business labels drowned out the Hillshire Farms brand. The store was well organized and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Of course being the only large grocery store in the area àllows them to price accordingly. They do. A wine I pay no more than $13. for at my local HEB, was $18.99 at Brookshire Bros. If you are a "member" that price drops to $13.99. Needless to say, I was not surprised as the store has little competition within close proximity. You're also going to Canyon Lake to have fun, and depending on what you forgot, you'll find it there. You just may pay a bit more. It's definitely worth a stop when you're in the area.

Neat little grocery store in Canyon Lake. Good selection. I particularly liked the Growler Bar with beer to go. Only issue was we stood there at the Growler Bar for over five minutes and literally no employee said a word to us. Not even a "hold on, we will be with you soon" not even a hello. Every other part of the store was great.

Great seafood selection. My go to place for picking up supplies for the lake or tubing. Glad I didn’t have to drive to New Braunfels anymore.
