Education center

👍👍 Very nice, but... the glass boat ride could be longer for the price.. it is educational but for the price I paid and didnt get to go inside to see the fish tanks. Yeah I wasnt happy abt that!. They should close till the last person walks out and get their money's worth. But just for a ride and leav... People often mention Great, water, great,

Truly great nature! Bring the kids and a lunch, stay for the day exploring a San Marcos treasure! Parking is ample and there is a ton of birds and aquatic life to watch. Also super neat interactive exhibits in the building near the lake.

Magical place, lots of historic history. From the natives that we call America Indians to the presient College, Texas Sate. To the future, makes one wonder whats possible. Let me tell whom ever decides to go take a companion or by yourself. This place will make you wonder what is possible. The land the trees, water & sun ,rocks an it history just jumps out at you very nice and protected place. I dident even need a guide, this place will speak to who is listening let me know if I'm wrong.

Well kept and if I had to nitpick anything, I'd say that the drainage for the trails leaves Them muddy for 2-3 days. But aside from that small thing, it's great for fishing. Starting at the entrance, there are 3 places that look killer for bass. And all within a few minutes walk There are miles of trails with podium signs every now and then, pointing out things out interest. I was only there a few minutes before a white tail deer family crossed my path.. If you are just looking for a place to chill, spring lake fills the bill.

The water is SO CLEAR! Loved the atmosphere with turtles and fish you could see by just looking in! Blues and greens and fish and a great boardwalk you can tour! There is all kinds of information about the plant life and aquatic life in the habitat to enjoy! Definitely going to be coming back!

A great way to to start the tour of going places, the clear water allows you to see the river below and the creatures in it. The guide also did his best with the info of history

So this was the only let down from San Marcos when I took my son on a college visit. When I was here this was a beautiful resort, now just an empty field with glass bottom boats and river muck. Disappointing what TX State did here. But rest of the campus and trip was fantastic. Progress I guess.?

Great park to walk around with the family to look at this amazing lake. There is scuba diving, and glass bottom boats. Nice water trail to walk. Would recommend to visit if you have relatives come from out of town.

Great family side trip if your on the road. Glass bottom boats. Great walking trail. Guided tours. Aquarium. Best clearest water you will see in a lake in these parts of Texas. Just done from the park, there is a public area where you can fish for some of the great fish

This is my first time visiting this park. The glass bottom boat tour was exceptional. The parking is was easy to find and the walk was short. The price of the boat tour was inexpensive.
