Old building has hosted a lot of events over the years..the gun show has gotten new promoters this year and "Doc" Pat Mahan and partner did a very good job of promoting their show. Attendance was great on Saturday in spite of the heat. Sunday morning was slow as usual with people attending Church but picked up after lunch for awhile. I salute the folks who set it all up. They did a very good job with it being their first time. Jerry and his partner had ran it and did a great job for many years until his health slowed him down this year. However they did show up. Sadly i believe the days of gun shows are coming to anend and i for one will miss the shows greatly. Its a pleasant way to spend some time visiting with like-minded folks but sadly times are changing.
