Nice park, spent some time there today. there is a playground, picnic tables, frisbee golf, lots of trees and open space. I think my only complaint would be the narrow one way roads. I got a little confused trying to figure out how to leave after I parked to hang out for a bit.

This is the nicest park in Brownwood. The Pecan Bayou runs a long the park which makes it nice and relaxing.

Nice park with big Oaks for shade. Plenty of squirrels and ducks. Nice picnic tables and pull offs. There is and small RV park with electric and water as you drive into the park.

Nice family park. Walking trails, picnic tables, volleyball court, and disk golf, next to a river. Pleasant quiet place, great place to bring kids and the family.

This park is a jewel in Brownwood Texas crown! It has so much to offer. There is RV camping, fishing, kayaking, frisbee golf, children's playground, picnic tables, pavilions, a lovely nature trail and don't forget to bring a little something to feed the ducks!

Great spot for a quick stroll through the trees while watching the animals forage throughout the area. Fantastic water bird viewing area. If you need a quick stop while traveling through Brownwood, this is a nice secluded area to do so. RV hookups, restrooms and a nice walking trail are just a few of the amenities located here.

This park was beautiful, and I think I may have been there on the nicest evening of the year. I walked most of the park, then I walked the entire disc golf course. It is a 18 hole course, it relatively open, not a lot of covered baskets, but for what I'm down for it would be perfect. Next time I'm through I'll definitely play the course.

This is our second time staying here, we really enjoy the dark skies, hiking trails, and wildlife. Sites are very narrow but very long. Beautiful heritage trees along the banks. They have a cool deck with outdoor furniture for guest to enjoy. Check out the video of the kittens that are there now and up for grabs.

It was hot. Big park, nice area to place disc golf at. Nice 18 hole. Wish there was places to refill water bottles when playing.

Beautiful piece of public nature. Clean. Well maintained. It needs cameras to catch the ones that think its ok to come here and dump their unwanted cats, roosters, pigs and dogs. They need to follow that up with prosection for dumping animals.

Great park for walking! Nice playground too. The larger picnic tables by the playground could use some help.

Great park to go hiking, walking/exploring trails (paved or unpaved paths), fishing, ride a bicycle, playground or play 18 holes of disc golf. There is one geocache in this park. Playground could use some upgrades and repair. Downside there is only one bathroom for the whole park. We enjoy going here!

Nature trail is very peaceful with many routes to explore. Has a playground, little library cabinet and ducks/geese. It is pet friendly, and has a separate area for frisbee golf. They do have a restroom but need to fix their water fountains.

We love this park! Great bike/hike trails and 18 hole disc golf. My only complaint is that the park doesn’t have much for toddlers to do. The slides are great, but only have one (scary) way up for the littles. Wish there was a smaller playground too.

Decent place it was fun letting her feed the Ducks I feel the ducks look pretty bad they need to try to do something with their ducks the ones that look like they went through hell should be took care of cleaned up or retired. Just my opinion. And maybe control the population of ducks.

Shaded trails, wished they were mapped, watch for critters (raccoon, cat, bird, armadillo) and a few steep areas but mostly flat hiking areas.

Very nice RV park, 50/30 hookups, cable, some areas are shaded with nice trees, but all are level on asphalt. Perfect location on the river. Very quite and very spacey for TV and people.

Overall it is a great park. It has plenty of walking and hiking opportunities. There is a newer trail that has some beautiful scenery and humorous signs. The playground is accessible to children of different abilities. There is a disc golf course. And there is plenty of shade throughout most of the park. The view of the Pecan Bayou is great.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Fascinating with a great variety of artifacts. The displays had information that was enriching yet not so detailed that it kept us from moving through at a reasonable pace.
