I have only ever had great experiences with Lucky Hand. I’ve been pierced by Jen 3 times, and just recently got my first tattoo done by Eddie. The entire process, from checking in to being tattooed/pierced to paying and leaving was smooth and easy, and the staff was incredibly professional and kind. Jen makes piercings a breeze, and Eddie was awesome to chat with while he worked on my tattoo! I will and DO recommend Lucky Hand to anyone who asks what the best place in town is! I’ll absolutely be back :)

I absolutely adore the staff at Lucky hand. I went to Jen initially for my nipple piercings, I was incredibly nervous since it was a rather intimate piercing but she was so professional and she made me feel so comfortable with this entire experience, so much so I came back to Jen to get my second nostril. She was so nice and made sure everything lined up and was perfectly symmetrical. She even matched my piercings so they were the same jewelry in my nose. I will continue to exclusively use Lucky Hand for any piercings, and I trust them for tattoos if I decide to go that route. I recommend this shop to anyone who asked about piercing parlors, and I will be going soon to add more jewelry to my collection.

I had the greatest experience! The building itself is very nice and welcoming and has the best vibe! My piercer was Kayla, and she gave me the most perfect experience! She’s very friendly, easy to talk to, and she’s very professional and knows exactly what she’s talking about. She’s great at explaining the do’s and don’ts, and especially aftercare. She even gave me a stuffie to hold when I said I was nervous. She was awesome, and I highly recommend her (especially for first-timers)

I would 1000% recommend this place to everyone! I have walked out of so many other tattoo shops, but this place looks amazing, the staff are so nice and passionate about their work, and it was so easy start to finish. I got my naval pierced with Jen and she was the best! So friendly, open, honest, and accommodating. Best piercer around!!! And then I stuck around to talk to Chris about his work for my first tattoo. I love how the artists' portfolios are laid out on the table for all to take a peek. Lucky Hand is the cleanest shop I've ever been in, and the energy of everyone there is awesome. I didn't want to go home.

Kayla is a badass piercer, spent 30-45 min. marking and making sure my nostril piercings were symmetrical, pretty tricky but she got it perfect and was super nice the whole appointment:)) looking forward in coming again!

Kayla saved my botched nose piercing job. I had went to a shop in San Antonio to get it done a few days prior. I went in to see Kayla just get a jewelry change and she found that the entire job was done incorrectly. She took time and care to make sure it was corrected. I’m so thankful I went there.

I came in for a septum piercing with Jen. She was so badass, she made me feel so comfortable and calmed my nerves. She also told made getting my septum basically painless and even let me hold a stuffed animal while i got it haha. The vibes there were great and everything was really clean.

Kayla is an amazing piercer. She did my 10 yr old's earlobes. Very clear and detailed communication. Positive, respectful, and encouraging with my daughter. I've had doctors be less communicative and respectful of bodily autonomy than Kayla was. My daughter hates needles and can get anxious with shots, Kayla was so great that she didn't really get nervous. EXTREMELY knowledgeable. My daughter is inquisitive and asked a question about the science of the jewelry. I wasn't sure if Kayla would know it, but she knew very detailed info on the science of it. I'm going to get mine re-pierced and will come to her for sure.

I got my eyebrow pierced by Jen abt 2 weeks ago and it is healing perfectly! Jen is extremely badass and is hilarious! I was instantly at ease. Very clean and stylish facility and friendly staff! Loved my experience here.

Need to update your website. I tried to come in for a consultation during the advertised walk in hours, was informed that walk in hours no longer exist and I had to fill out an online form to be contacted. I never was contacted. I have since found another more accommodating artist with much better communication.

Having been to several members of staff there, I gotta say they have a solid team! Piercing education and aftercare is amazing, and the artists are incredibly talented and considerate. The shop is super clean and the individual booths make it a really comfortable experience!

I received my second ear piercing from Jen yesterday, and she was beyond incredible. Super friendly and very knowledgeable! She really seems to care about the care of your piercing. The room and entire shop was also very clean. I was super nervous about getting a second piercing because I hate needles, but she made it a breeze. Don’t go anywhere in San Angelo but lucky hand tattoo for piercings. My friend got her nose pierced at another shop and it was night and day difference!

Kayla and Jen are absolutely amazing not only at what they do, but who they are as a person. They care about what they do and the longevity of their client’s piercings! 100/10 recommend them!

Have had a couple piercing done by Kayla and a few Tattoos from artist Eddie Barraza. I am extremely happy with everything ive had done at the shop and always recommend anyone who asks me to Lucky Hand :)

TERRIBLE, When Jen came out. She basically told me that since it was summer i could not swim with a nose piercing which I knew and was perfectly fine with. So when I said that she gave me the worst attitude and told me to let her talk. Bad attitude that seemed as if she didn’t want to do her job.

My favorite tattoos came from this shop. Aaron Smith did a fantastic job on my Spike Spiegel and Black Star pieces and Jill Murray did wonderful work on my Destiny and Chrona tats. Could not recommend a better shop than this, hoping to come back for more!
