Awful overpriced food. Fish & chips cooked in old oil tasted off. Mediocre steak had better from Aldi best bit of my meal was the side salad

I hired a private room for 17 people, the food and service was fantastic, I feel the lamb was too underdone for me, she did say it would be pink but this was too pink. Overall the food was beautiful though and a great portion size. All the family was happy and the booze went down lovely.

We had an excellent experience here at The Queen's Head in Belton. The staff were very polite, the atmosphere was extremely relaxed and the food was really good. We will definitely return.

First time visit to the Queens Head and found it was well worth it. Menu has good selection of food with a little twist making it very interesting. I had the fish n chips and they were beautiful. Crisp batter, big fish and lovely chips. My wife had the lamb meatballs and they were delicious. The staff did a great job looking after us. A good find, will certainly return.

We attended a funeral wake. I've never been before but it seems to be a lovely place from what I saw. The food was absolutely beautiful. Drink prices were slightly high but it was a well kept pint. The car park is on the tight side but I think you can park on the road outside. Would definitely call again if we were in the area. We didn't stay in the hotel so can't comment on that side of the business.

I have visited her a few times. Every time I have been served my Sasha (I think she is called) and she’s been so lovely. Herself and the manager today were so kind to myself and my sister who went in with a baby, they sat us in a quiet corner, asked if the music was too loud and were generally just so kind and friendly. Thank you guys!

I've been traveling for work since 2016 and this has been by far best stay I've ever had. Lovely people, amazing food, great location, slept like a log. Good size room, beautifully decorated. Breakfast was just awesome! Highly recommended.

Booked an overnight stay here while attending the Donington Historic Festival. We were greeted with friendly and welcoming staff. The food and rooms were five star! Would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

We had our wedding reception meal here and all I can say is WOW! The meal was absolutely perfect and everyone loved it! From the original email enquiry to leaving after staying overnight, the staff are a credit to this pub! Big thanks to Sam/Nick for all your help in making our dream day the best we could of wished for! We cant wait to come back for a meal ☺️

Went for lunch today, four of us. It was like going to a top class restaurant and really generous portions. Loads better than Gordon Ramseys and service lovely also.

Stayed over last night. OMG the service, the food and the experience was first class. Room and Location was lovely too. Awesome landlady Samantha, made the stay enjoyable with an excellent level of service. Quality breakfast, better than most 5* hotels. The rest of the staff were very friendly and very helpful. Lovely people, excellent place.

Wow. My partner and I were out in the Leicestershire countryside enjoying the sunshine and decided we wanted a bite to eat. We charged upon a sign to the Queen's Head so decided to give it a go. What a great experience this was. It doesn't look much from the outside but once you get inside there's plenty of space and it has been wonderfully refurbed making it a relaxing and attractive place to spend time. And then the food. Wow. Absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. We'll definitely go back there again.

Thought we were coming in for a lovely meal but left very disappointed by the quality of the food and the rude and aggressive manager. The steak was almost raw despite asking for medium rare chips were soggy as well. When asked to send steak back manager was very rude and confrontational.

Treated a party of 8 for a Sunday lunch/birthday bash. One of our party is gluten free which can be a problem, the staff were very good with the way they advised them, very impressive. All the staff were very good. The food was lovely and there was a good selection, drinks were very nice, the environment was very pleasant, the delivery of the birthday cake was great (and nicely embarrassing for the birthday teenager) a little bit expensive but hay ho, have had no problem recommending this establishment.

OH MY WORD. I’ve had two events one Sunday after the other. One a sit down meal which just blew all 30 of us away. Food was delicious service was incredible . Sam being the Manager was on top of it all attention to detail was fabulous. Sunday after we had a buffet for nearly 30 people, what struck me on walking into the room is how the tables were laid out. You didn’t feel like you were on separate tables everyone could hold a conversation it was just perfect. Holly came in on arrival introducing herself she would be looking after us for our special occasion, boy did she nail it again attention to detail . What was nice is all the staff were in and out making sure our needs were met, but they weren’t intrusive you didn’t realise they were there. 5*plus without any doubt If you’re looking for somewhere just for lunch or a special occasion look no further this place is just perfect.

Amazing food!!! In the area for work, and we came here as a group. We were blown away by the quality and presentation of the food!! More than your average pub. Food was delicious, had trouble choosing from the menu!

Warm and welcoming country pub! Dog friendly with a cosy bar area. Fantastic food, and friendly, knowledge front of house staff 😊 we came on a recommendation and will be recommending to family and friends!

A truly lovely experience! The service and food were excellent, and the establishment is comfortable, stylish and welcoming. The seafood platter was incredibly fresh and beautifully presented. The beef nachos were delicious. They had Camden’s Hells lager on tap…happy days! The next time we are in the area we’ll definitely be sure to stop in again.

Food was lovely and service was good. We were not rushed with our meal and the decor is nice and cosy with tables being well spaced out - no-one is sitting on top of each other. Will be back!

Had a Christmas lunch as a group. Absolutely first class. Food was hot, quickly served and all excellent quality. Waitress staff very polite and responsive. This is a really good pub with a good landlord that knows his job. Highly recommended.

My wife had been here before with our daughter and had a good meal. Me and my wife went for Sunday lunch not to bad again service very good we asked for a few more roast potatoes as we was only given 2 on each plate and I know it was busy when we arrived (2:30) but they said they had no more I would have thought on a Sunday that should have been in abundance. Veg came in a small bowl and coliflower cheese in another.The server was very apologetic but 🤔.... Will try again maybe..

There's something on the menu to suit all tastes at The Queen's Head. You won't be disappointed whether you want a 3 course meal or just a quick snack. They offer a variety of breads (homemade sesame seed bun, gluten-free bun or baked tortilla wrap) to go with the delicious meat, veggie & vegan burgers for which there are multiple toppings to choose from too... I loved my burger encased in a toasted tortilla wrap, because it was just as tasty, but far easier to eat than messing around trying to hold a bun together! The Mains menu really left my wife spoilt for choice. She liked the sound of absolutely everything on it! In the end she opted for Short rib of beef slow-braised in dark ale, with grilled leeks & wild mushrooms. It would have come with spring onion mash, but she wanted to try their beef dripping chips, so asked for those with it instead. They happily obliged and her meal was served exactly as she'd requested. Our meals were well presented and absolutely delicious. There are lots of reasonably priced drinks to choose from too. We were completely full, so didn't order a dessert this time. We did spy Baked ginger parkin with chargrilled peaches & clotted cream on the menu though, so we will be returning very soon to try that! All in all, we had a great meal, served by friendly staff in a lovely village pub. Long may this queen reign!

Recently under new management. We were passing through and stopped for dinner. Food was very nice and service from staff was friendly. Quality food and would throughly recommend.
