Lovely coffee shop but I can never understand why they don't put more seating outside. It makes no sense as there is clearly a demand for it and they'd make lot's more money. Half the time you can't get a seat so don't bother going in to order... shame as it's actually an amazing coffee shop.

First time customers to Ramblers and visitors to the Park. This well cafe is a great spot to dine in or just have a hot drink and a catch up. We started to queue up and all the the tables in the small cafe were taken. Two tables became free whilst we were queuing and two staff members came out to clear up the table and disinfect it also. The queues were quite long and the service was slow but this did not hinder the quality of the food. AMAZING!! All staff were very friendly too. Prices are great for the amount of food also. The cafe just needs to be bigger to meet the demand of customers.

Food usually nice but VERY slow and disorganised. Queued best part of 30 mins for a pre order, the order was wrong, told 30 mins more just to replace a toastie. (Thats a complex piece of toast...) Wasnt prio'd in any sense and still charged for the wrong item despite it going in the bin if I didnt take it. Pretty shoddy customer service. Not impressed.

Many years since I've been to Shipley Park itself, never mind the café and found both very welcoming. Will definitely be going back 👍

Used the Ramblers Cafe for the first time yesterday. Staff were extremely pleasant and jolly. Really enjoyed the experience. One particular lady was brilliant with my Grandson who can be quite challenging. Food was lovely too. Great gift shop. Worth a visit 😊

A good place to stop for food and drinks when out for a walk. Always a good selection of home baked cakes, sausage rolls etc. Closes quite early, especially in winter months, so always good to check opening times.

Visited for the first time, didn't read reviews first as we like to find out for ourselves what places are like. Wish we had! There are a few talking about this cafe closing early and at 2.30 on a bank holiday Sunday afternoon that's what we experienced. My husband went ahead of me while I paid for parking and when I followed and tried the door it was locked so he had to ask the young girl who had locked it to let me in. Her face said it all and she then blocked all but two tables off to start cleaning, even though there were 4 separate customers at the counter. Anyway, drinks and cakes were nice but it was so obvious that they wanted to close and were emptying all the cake cabinets and cleaning down that we felt uncomfortable being there. When my husband asked to speak to the owner to point out that our visit was disappointing she said that they were open till 5 ?? and when she quesioned the girl about locking the door she denied it - even though we overheard the same girl asking the owner if they were still finishing at 3! So...won't be returning or recommending and hopefully the owner gets the message that when we try to support small businesses the service needs to reflect that they are thankful to anyone who walks in the door. We'd actually bypassed a packed garden centre cafe up the road to visit this one, our mistake but maybe that reflects other customer's experiences?

Really friendly cafe with a good range of food and drink at reasonable prices. Great selection of delicious home made cakes as well as a good and interesting menu of meals and snacks. Makes a nice end to a scenic walk.

We visited here today for the first time, for a short break before going for a walk around Shipley. We went for a hot chocolate & a cappuccino, for food we has a full english breakfast & a lasagna with chips & salad. All the food & drink was nice, however the service in general was very slow, from ordering to the food coming out. I’m sure we will definitely come again in the future, as its a handy place to visit for refreshments.

Be prepared to find it closed, if you turn up during advertised opening hours.

Really good selection of food and drinks available. Bacon in the cobs we had was really nice, thick and tasty and cooked really well. Cakes looked amazing too, maybe next time. The only improvement I could suggest would be using different coffee beans in the machine

Good value and tasty cafe food. Nice place to eat outside, bit of a sun trap.

Good food, nice coffee, served very quickly but counterstaff could've been more helpful to first time visitors.

Wonderful homemade scones and other goodies. You can have a snack or a meal, whatever you decide will be delicious. The staff or pleasant and helpful. The cafe is clean and bright. For young children there is a fairy hunt, see how many fairies you can find in the cafe. A lovely place to sit and relax after you outdoor activities in the park

lovely food, but as we had a dog we had to take away as no dogs allowed in cafe and not enough outside seating as dog free people had filled up the outside tables when inside was empty.
