One of my family’s favourite branch to go! This branch is quite new (compared to the others) and has an up to date modern decor. Plenty of seating down and upstairs. Upstairs being more of a private dining area (requires advanced reservations and min number of people/orders). Just like the other branches, their service is great and their staffs are very friendly. Food quality is particularly excellent and consistent here. (Disclosure: menu and taste is catered towards local taste buds and not necessarily authentic). My recommendations for those who haven't tried excapade (* all time favorites): *SALMON FIRE CHEESE - a must order. A torched cheese layer on top of aburi salmon. *MINI SALMON MAYO WITH IKURA - salmon wrapped around sushi rice topped with mayonnaise and ikura (theres a cheaper version with ebiko but tastes is not the same). *UNA IKURA MAKI - fried unagi maki topped with mayonnaise and ikura. *MINI CALIFORNIA SPECIAL - a fried twist to the all time loved California maki. *SALMON UNAGI IKURA TEMAKI - best temaki combination for salmon and unagi lovers. TEMPURA MORIAWASE/EBI - lightly battered vegetables, prawns and fish if you choose the assorted tempura. Crunchy and delicious. CHIRASHI DON - a variety of sashimi (tuna, salmon, ika, tako, saba) and tamago on top of a bed of rice. A value for money if you’re craving for a variety of seafood. KARAGE - crunchy, moist and perfectly seasoned fried chicken. GRILLED SALMON HEAD - teriyaki sauce is amazing and the salmon head is fresh and fatty. There are many more of my favourite dishes but these are interesting and unique to excapade.

One of the popular Japanese restaurant options in Brunei. Massive menu and large selection. Food is not bad. Questionable service though. Must try is the deep fried vanilla ice cream.

Unagi poke bowl was colourful and delicious enough. Portions of dishes were generous. Choices (and prices) have increased from the last time I visited. My order was unfortunately forgotten.

A very relaxing date for couples/family to gather and eat together. Food is all delicious and savoury. Thumbs up!

Kaiseki Japanese dining experience.

Food is mediocre. Presentation is borderline good. Some fried food is not hot enough. Price is fair for this quality.

This is the worst Excapade in Brunei. There’s barely any customers here right now (4pm Saturday afternoon) and it took them almost an hour to get all the food out. The food was served in stages (it wasn’t even omakase), like literally we finished the edamame first before the next food came out etc. There were only 2 servers and the reception area is always empty. You’re lucky if you came in and someone was there. I guess the staff was too busy. It took 57 mins until our 9 slices of avocados came out so we just had to take it away coz by then we weren’t hungry anymore. The front sliding door is broken I guess so the door was wide open and our meal was being attacked with flies. The table next to us was also waiting for their sporadic food to come in stages. There’s also a weird smell here that’s really off putting. Won’t be dining here again any time soon or at all.

Super satisfying to be able to eat a little bit of all my favorites in a bento box 😋😋😋 Opted for a change of sushi with an additional charge. Staffs were super friendly and attentive!

The food was lovely.

Recommend due to the price though the sushi is not that good the rice is a little bit too sweet and loose, salmon not as good as Kaizen’s but not bad. Soft shell crab sushi is the best than the roe ones.

If you plan to dine with your family or friends, make a reservation in advance to avoid disappointment. This place has a comfortable and pleasant atmosphere. Meal preparation takes about 15-30 minutes.

I like Excapade restaurant at Serusop. The staff are extremely professional and pay attention to detail (plus point). Excapade Serusop has never failed my expectation when come to dine-in or takeaway. The food is nice and I particularly like their ramen and udon.

It is a pleasant place with excellent service BUT the prices are too high for a chain restaurant level food. I like the giant tea pots of tea served at every table, that a great idea! The ramen we ordered was decent but not the beat ramen we had and comparatively to other places in Brunei it is quite expensive. Basically, the price is equivalent to a nice sit down restaurant but the food quality is just not as high. So it either needs to have lower prices or higher quality food and larger portions to make it worthwhile in my opinion.

We got the bento to share between two people, and it was worth it. We really enjoyed the atmosphere.

Food was ok...they had a good promo for 30% bibd cr card...but i feel CHEATED..they cap the bill at $167 so no 30% discount...We spent $300 over dollars and u cant split the bill and use the same Cr Card, so they only give $50 discount...brought all my staff to eat there, but this part of the deal was not explained in the offer...very slick Escapade Sushi, very slick...take note, dont spend beyond $167.spend more doesnt mean save more @EscapadeSushi

This Excapade branch close late 10.00 pm, so good place for a late sushi with your loved one ❤️❤️❤️
