I spent two nights here as a tourist visiting Brunei. The room was comfortable, exactly as described on the booking site. Staff were very friendly, were always happy to answer any questions with a smile. Location was convenient, being just a few floors above many shops, including a grocery store and some small restaurants. Furthermore, the hotel was in close proximity to the airport, with complimentary airport transfers making the whole process completely seamless and simple. Plenty of restaurants and sites a short walk away, otherwise everything else is just a short and affordable Dart away (local version of grab/uber). If you need a reliable and comfortable place to stay Bandar Seri Begawan, Wafa Hotel and Apartments will have you covered, I would definitely stay again if I return to Brunei.

I had an amazing stay at Wafa Hotel! From the moment I arrived, everything was seamless. They offer a free shuttle service to and from Bandar Seri Begawan airport, which made my trip so much more convenient. The staff are incredibly attentive to detail—they truly went above and beyond to ensure my stay was exceptional. My room was spotless, and housekeeping cleaned it thoroughly every single day. I also really appreciated the extra water they provided after noticing that I drink a lot—such a thoughtful touch! The breakfast was another highlight of my stay. It featured a great selection of delicious Malay food, which was a fantastic way to start the day. Overall, Wafa Hotel exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Brunei!

Overall, the hotel is good. Everything’s is new, clean and cozy. The breakfast selection is limited. But there’s a big grocery store at the first floor and a couple of cafeterias on the second. The swimming pool is just superb. The location is a bit far from the city center tbh. The soundproof in the room is imperfect. I heard every word employees were saying outside the room. By the way, they were making a huge noise, speaking much loud, even early in the morn and late in the evening.

Either early check in or late check out, their policy is to charge bnd10 per hour. Extra towels r chargeable. Disposable face towels r provided daily. No shampoo n conditioner. Drainage smells a bit. Safety box provided with hotels passcode, not guests' passcode. Room is clean n spacious. Staff r hospitable. Tq. Shower is great. Iron n ironing board provided in room. Drinking water and coffee n tea also replenished daily. WiFi was good til there was a function happening at hotel. Then there wasn't WiFi available. Didn't get to use other facilities other than room n breakfast. Breakfast was OK.

The room is very spacious and can accommodate 3 persons at any time. There is a shopping mall on the ground floor where you can buy food, drinks and even clothing. Overall I can say this hotel or apartment is suitable for a family to stay.

This hotel is quite impressive! It’s my first time staying here, and it feels like the hotel is located inside a mall. You enter through the main entrance and take an elevator up to the 3rd floor for check-in. The reception service is excellent and very polite. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with modern facilities. Plus, breakfast is provided! Unfortunately, the swimming pool closes at 6 PM, so I didn’t get a chance to try it out. I did take a look at the gym, though. One downside is that if you don’t have a car, finding food nearby can be a bit challenging with limited options.

Extremely friendly and helpful team from the hotel front office keeping the warmer smile at any point throughout me stay. No language barrier as all front desk team fluent in English. Thank you in making these 4 days of comfort.
