I arrived Brunei airport (BWN) in early 2023. Small, decent, amber lighting and quiet. All the gates spread around the circumference of a circular court. 80-90% shops closed after 6:00pm, even information desk. What??? I still saw a lot of passengers gather around the court!! Pay attention, you simply get no help from airport staff. If you transit thro' this airport, you need to go thro' another police x-rayed check. Queue for 15 to 30 minutes. BUT..... be ready for no wifi available. What again?? If you try to login to Brunei airport wifi, a lot of selection but all with error message. Be patient. Simply...sit, wait and meditation until boarding time. Good time to think about WHY you choose to transit in this BWN airport?? ---------- Sorry, you may not able to see this message because you have no wifi, no outside information. BUT if you care to prepare, search help in advance before you come or simple go elsewhere!! 15 minutes ago, I was excited to arrive this airport until I realized that I am totally helpless after 6:00pm!!! --------- If you suddenly need documents, help or information from internet...sorry. Can you buy pre-paid data card, sorry.. I cannot see! If you try to login to Royal Brunei web or app in BWN airport....sorry, not work also. ---------- If you do not understand the helpless situation, come and experience. I have been to so many, many, many airport...this is the only airport with no wifi. Istanbul and Singapore has at least 3 hours free wifi. Most of the airports in Europe with free wifi all the time. ----------- Are you ready for what's to come?

Compact airport but very efficient and clean. Passport control and luggage were super fast and departures on time! The Royal Brunei crew are fantastic, excellent customer service! There is a mosque by the airport, atms on the arrival hall as wells some shops and restaurants. The lounge was awesome they have showers, great selection of food.

the worst airport i have ever been to! wifi is terribly bad! Not work properly and only work for 30 minutes free after you can’t connect again!! Impossible used for reserve a hotel or something!! It is a rich country, but they have an airport from a poor country!

The only international airport in Brunei is in Bandar Seri Begawan (code: BWN), which has direct flights from other Southeast Asian cities like Kuala Lumpur, Manila, and Singapore. You can shop for flights to Brunei on Skyscanner. Transportation in Brunei is generally by car rental or taxi. The only transportation app is Dart, which works similar to Uber. Near the airport is a mosque.

2024.07 バンコク行きのTransitで利用しました。Terminalは円形でコンパクトに出来ています。到着階から出発階に移動するのは最超楽、手荷物検査だけで搭乗券やパスポートは見ない。搭乗階から真ん中の螺旋階段を登るとラウンジが在ります。ラウンジ内にトイレがあるので、ここを利用したほうがよい。外のトイレは綺麗でないです。殆ど水が出ない時もありました。 空港FreeeWi-Fiは氏名、電話番号（日本の番号でも）を登録して直に利用出来ました。楽天モバイルのRoamingは電波は掴むのですが直に切れてまともに利用できなかった。（端末2台試した）

It's not that big for an international airport, especially it's an airport located exactly in the capital city. I believe that it only consists of a single terminal But, it's clean and easy to find a power socket/ power plug. And I like the praying room the best. The most important thing is, the people are so friendly :)

Small airport, very clean! It has shower room too. To go to the lounge upstairs, it doesn’t has escalators.

Small airport by international standards but functional and works for Brunei. Not many shops are open, basically nothing was open after the customs checkpoint for departure. Most popular eatery seems to be Jollibee which is ridiculously popular in Brunei. Airport is clean and service from the ground staff are positive.

Good airport not very large. Mobike operators at airport selling tourist sims. Food court with internatuonal and national food choices. Streamlined baggage handling and delivery. Transport from airport avaliable. Transot hotel avaliable within airport to All in all an airport with all facilities needed by a traveller. Always been a pleasure travelling through here. Free internet is only for an hour then you have to pay for it which is the only negative for me. Should be free like all other airports .

It's a very well developed and nice airport. Though it is a small one but it is very well maintained. The staffs are quite friendly and helpful too. Added advantage if you could speak Malay but most of the native people there can speak English. The service was quite fast and efficient. One of the international airports that is very well kept.

06/04/24 airport parking fee is through the roof. if hourly charge, better to park at P2 but if you intend to do weekly and monthly. it'd be much better to parking at other parking facilities nearby that dont charge such ridiculous fees.

Brand new airport. Staff very fast. Extremely clean. In overall Brunei is amazing. Safe. No scammers. You will enjoy your holiday without stress. Amazing people and food. I bought lots of amazing stuff. Amazing museums and mosques. I booked for 4 days but you need one week. ❤️ & ☮️

March 3 2024. BWN is a small airport. Thats good no need hurry. The immigration check was quick and no queue at that moment.

The airport is simple to access and the atmosphere is fresh and clean. There are some souvenir shops along the hall, which are appealing to me most. I love buying fridge magnets. The custom is helpful, supportive and really nice. The number of travellers is not much so everything is kind of peaceful!

Clean, quiet airport with very little shops and most of them were closed even at 17:00 in the afternoon. Charging stations spread throughout.

Main airport of Brunei and Bandar. The good thing is that there is not much queue in all steps so it is not much time consuming. Main lounge of Royal Brunei is located upstair and offer best experience of pre-boarding both spacious and variety of food as well as amenities

I was +10 hrs transit at this airport. not big place but quite enough to take a rest at this airport because many seats empty. packed of people if there is a flight at that time. there is free drink cold and hot water on several sides. fast internet at sbux

Good clean airport with not much croud, comfortable seats all necessary commodities available. Staff is good and helpful very smooth processes in all. Kudos to the team.

The airport is the only airport serving the country. Clean and tidy. Not too many shops or foods available, as it is not a busy airport at all. Since it is not a huge airport, you don’t really have to walk far to board to the plane, and also no need to walk far after arriving here.

ブルネイ王国の入口になっている国際空港です。基本的に飛行機の離着陸に合わせて稼働するようで、少し早めに来たら中に入れませんでした。売店などはずっとオープンしています。外にはお祈り用のモスクがありました。普通のタクシーよりDartというタクシーアプリで移動する人が多いと思いますが、少し歩かないと乗り場がありません。また入国してから空港のWifiがすぐにつながらなかったのでちょっと焦りました。ゲート外に出て、ケンタッキーやジョリビーなどの大手チェーン店にあるWifiにつないだ方がすぐにつながるかと思います。

A very small airport with very few options for shopping or food and most of these are closed during the night. Nevertheless, is very clean and well maintained.

in comparison to other international airport, BIA will easily be an embarrassment.. nothing has changed... update (1.9.2024) the water tap at the restroom the arrival luggage was not working 🙄

The airport is rather small and very limited shops or places to eat. There are a few vending machines to buy cold/hot drinks and hot meal too. It's probably better if you have access to Royal Brunei Sky Lounge. The airport is clean and tidy but other than that you probably don't want to spend more than 2 hours in transfer here.

Nice little airport but when I depart in the afternoon most of the stores were closed, maybe because the airport was empty. The free wifi is only for 30 minutes.

Very sparse airport but with all of the "essentials". The pickup point for DART (equivalent of Uber or Grab) is pretty far away at the P2 car park pick up point, so just be aware of that. The airport has the usual suspects like Coffee Bean, KFC etc.

Very nice airport, staff friendly and helpful. Coffee shops and restaurants available whole you wait. Lots of parking & the pickup/dropoff zones are simple to navigate

Small Airport but very organized, They have maximized the space, kept it clean and tidy. One tip i can give is to buy your souvenirs after security check, the prices are cheaper

No WiFi, the water fountain always runs out of water. No lift to Starbucks and coffee shops at the mezzanine level.

작은 공항, 친절한 사람들. 버스나 출입구 안내판에서 한글을 보게 되어 반가웠습니다. 브루나이 유심이 필요한 분들은 시내 말고 편하게 공항에서 사는 걸 추천합니다. 가격 차이 없거나 거의 같아요.

The new WiFi requires that you surrender personal information for registration and has limits (ala 2005). Immigration was neutral and professional and of integrity and service. The standard of the airport is good as for the relatively low volume of yearly travellers to and from Brunei. There are plenty of restrooms and coffee shops. The pickup point for the Dart ridesharing service is a 200m walk out the side entrance, as shown in the picture, and not the main entrance where the taxis are.

Niewielkie ale bardzo przyjemne lotnisko. Na przylotach jest KFC czynne do późna - warto skorzystać będąc na odlotach ponieważ po przejściu kontroli bezpieczeństwa nie ma już jedzenia. Na przylotach również trzy bankomaty (BIBD nie pobiera prowizji za pobranie gotówki w przeciwieństwie do pozostałych). Kilka sklepików z pamiątkami - można też kupić kartki pocztowe ale niestety znaczków już nie. Wylatywaliśmy późno i nie było możliwości przejścia kontroli bezpieczeństwa bo była zamknięta - musieliśmy czekać aż pracownik nas wpuścił. Niezbyt przyjemna obsługa na kontroli bezpieczeństwa. Za to miły salonik z pysznym jedzeniem i ciastami. Tuż obok lotniska meczet. Nie udało mi się skorzystać z lotniskowego wi-fi ale nie było to problemem ponieważ i tak od razu po przylocie kupiłam kartę SIM.

The airport stands out for its cleanliness, which creates a positive first impression for travellers. The boarding area offers a cosy and comfortable atmosphere, making it a pleasant space to wait for flights. However, one major drawback is the air conditioning, which is insufficient in many parts of the airport, including the surau. This can make certain areas uncomfortable, especially during busy or warmer periods. Another area for improvement is the seating availability, as there are not enough seats to accommodate travellers during peak times. Addressing these issues would significantly enhance the overall experience for visitors.

Brunei International Airport (BWN) is quite small but is the largest airport in Brunei Darussalam, and located near Bandar Seri Begawan. Most services are located in the landside areas of the terminal. The facilities, rest areas and dining selection within the airside transfer zone remain quite depressing.

Immigration officers were very helpful, they did the extra mile service for passengers, We had long hours transit, they granted Visa for my family easily, we enjoyed visiting the city.

Small (not too small) but well maintained airport (always not so busy) I will say. Clean and air-conditioned. RBA staff were friendly and efficient so never a long queue in my experience, having used the airport for many times. Security checks were smooth as well.

We flew in around 11pm from the Philippines. Not much activity going on at that time. We were the only plane that came as we were the only ones in the immigration counter. So the process was fast. Our luggage were already in the carousel before I reached the immigration officer's counter. The scenario outside the airport was quiet and gloomy. Just a few well-wishers and stores and other stalls around the main entrance were already closed.

It’s not a big and busy airport. Clean, spacious, nice staff. Check in and clear custom are fast , smooth and efficient. There is a coffee bean and Starbucks in the Transit area . Highly recommended is the local food, a small stall, selling local packages food n snacks for $1 only , near check in counter at departures hall. try not to miss
