Iconic Landmark in Bandar Seri Begawan When we entered Brunei, we were asked by the immigration officer, why do we come to Brunei? There is not much to do (i.e. modern ways of entertainment) here! The BIBD Frame is one beautiful things worth seeing while in Bandar Seri Begawan, together with the park in which it is located and the waterfront. We found the frame, when looked trough with the right angle, provides a stunning view of the Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque, which is THE landmark of Bandar Seri Begawan and of Brunei. The park is very nice, very clean and very neat. It is an ideal place to have a walk in the afternoon and to unwind. Plus, the river provides a nice breeze to cool down. We think that this is one of the must see place in Brunei! …And this is certainly a place to be proud of and to recommend tourist when they enter Brunei.🤗

Much like in other global cities this is a classic spot to take some photos of the key site nearby, prime for social media postings. It’s a quiet area and well kept, so with the large amount of seating a good option to escape the bustle and relax.

Interesting installation for photo opportunities for tourists and visitors, as the name suggests, it frames perfectly a view of the Masjid Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien mosque. We laughed at “No awesome people beyond this point” line sign on the foundations of the frame. Nice to visit at night, actually!

Worth to visit anyway, one of the iconic landmark in Bandar Seri Begawan Brunei.

Good location for taking photos with the Mosque and the boat inside of it, and great views of the surrounding area. Nearby has a food centre and a cafe shop maybe.
