Location is pretty good and short drive to the riverfront area. Breakfast selection is limited but understandable as to avoid wastage putting out a buffet line. But having additional charge for coffee refill is a big put off. I would also suggest to add some fruits selection to breakfast choices. Big turn off is in the room, specifically for the washroom. Water pressure is extremely low and temperature changes for no reason. It is either too hot or too cold and changes for no apparent reason. Front service and doorman had pleasant service and always ready to smile. Kudos on this part. Overall it was a ok stay for business.

Clean and staffs are accommodating. Room size is a bit small compared to other Radisson hotels I’ve checked-in. Hallway is a bit dim and ceiling height is short, if you are tall enough you can literally touch the ceiling. Location is great and enough parking space.

Not a very big hotel but feels new and classy. Lobby is nice, not too grand nor too simple. Not very big lobby, but sufficient for a hotel of this size. Service staff is excellent! Attentive and helpful staff in all services, be it reception, room service or restaurant wait-staff. Fitness Center is clean and well maintained. Open 24x7. Not many equipments though, but again enough to for minimal fitness maintenance. Workout towels available in the room as also the water. There is also a Spa and a pool (with a children wade pool).

Hotel room has musky smell and air conditioning is crazy. Can't be adjusted to warmer. Even if you switch it off. Too cold. The breakfast area is alright. Have fresh juice too. The egg station is horrible. They did my over easy very disgusting.

My husband and I were in Brunei for a weekend trip. The hotel is located in the city center where you can walk to the main attractions, rivers, and places to eat. The price was reasonable with a Radisson member discount. The hotel staff was very friendly and professional. They were genuinely happy and friendly people. The hotel arranged a taxi service for the airport pick-up/drop-off and around town. The fare was reasonable and all the drivers were very friendly. The room was clean and spacious. We ordered room service multiple times. The food quality was good and tasty at a reasonable price. I highly recommend it during the middle of the day when temperatures and humidity is at its peak outside. Overall we felt very comfortable and we enjoyed the stay.

Clean room with great service. Hotel a bit dated and cafe food was OK. Very difficult to get taxi in Brunei especially when it rains. We were able to seek help from the hotel front desk to arrange taxi to pick us up from restaurant outside back to the hotel! They can also help to charge those taxi fare to your room.

Really disappointing… the reservation was not registered… the reception then gave us one standard room and one deluxe .. we were expected to pay the extra for the deluxe room which we did not want. The rooms smelt very damp, dirty and very tiny. Can’t believe this is a deluxe room. The pool area was dirty, lots of leaves and debris. Food and drinks not cleared away. The lock on our bedroom door was constantly broken … we had to get engineers on two occasions. We came last year and the experience was quite different. The room we Were allocated previously was what I considered deluxe. A large king size bedroom, clean and airy. Part of our trip today was with a voucher won.. we decided to treatment a family member who we had not seen for 12 Months … so so disappointed. This is all before the night ends, So what tomorrow and breakfast holds is very worrying…

Not bad. Breakfast is super lots! I book the deluxe king room for one night. Have parking as well. Next to BSB. Bed is super comfy. Problem is only the water heater, it is so sensitive to control. Change slightly cause too much heat and cold.

We stayed at the Radisson at short notice, our house had a power cut and we arrived at the hotel late in the evening. There were no twin rooms available. However, the staff were friendly and ensured we had all we needed to accommodate both my husband and I and our 4 yr old son. I was particularly impressed with how quickly our sons guest bed arrived in the room. We all slept soundly and the shower pressure was fabulous! The only reason I didn't give the room a 5 star was due to the room smelling a little damp. I do want to caveat this with there was no sign of dampness and we all had a very comfortable stay. Breakfast was also very good. Thank you Radisson for your hospitality.

Disappointed given how expensive this place is (2nd most behind Empire?). Room had musty smell and duvet was damp. Shower difficult to operate and had very weak water pressure. Corridors had mouldy wallpaper. TV was abysmal - terrible resolution and seemed to be streaming on dial up internet. Hotel/rooms otherwise well presented. Pool is good, and breakfast decent, although not complimentary on room price. Staff pleasant. Overall a mixed bag, Capital Residence down the road is not as fancy on the outside but offers way better value imo.

The Radisson Hotel Brunei is the only reputable international chain in the country, and staying here did not disappoint at all. The best part about this hotel was its central location - close to all of Brunei's highlights and things to see and do (e.g. Royal Regalia Museum, Kampong Ayer, Tasek Lama Park etc). Staff here were extremely friendly, and I enjoyed having a good chat with them! Loved the pool area, perfect to cool down in when the weather got warm. 24 hour fitness centre was a nice touch as well. Breakfast was tasty - with highlights such as Nasi Lemak and yummy scrambled eggs as options for my stay. Room was very comfortable, with comfy beds and lots of space. Overall, would most definitely recommend staying here if you're visiting the underrated country of Brunei.

I wish I don’t have to give Radisson Brunei a low rating but unfortunately, the room was just bad. First let me start by saying all the staff there were top notch. They were all very friendly and helpful. From front desk to concierge to restaurant staff. Breakfast was also ok. However, the room was horrible. The minute you walked in you can smell mold and moistures. The shower floor tiles were moldy. But the worst were the pillows and the bed. The pillows and mattress themselves smell musky so even with clean linens, you cannot cover the smell. I have to put a bathrobe over them to be able to sleep. The whole room (Aircon? Carpet?) also smells bad. Looks like this is a common problem now that I read other reviews here. Do not recommend.

Very friendly staff, always responded nicely to whatever request. Nice hotel, located in almost the center of Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei. Breakfast was quite sumptuous with various selection of good food. Will definitely come here again. Recommended.

Hotel was very clean and the pool was great. Reception messed up our room which was incredibly frustrating. Despite offering us a room with 2 queen beds via email, turns out they don't have that type of room and so instead we were given a room with 2 single beds (for 2 adults and 2 children)! Staff in the gift shop were quite grumpy, the exact same gift shop chain is located 5 min drive away with a better range and friendly staff. Breakfast was a huge disappointment: stale pastries, dry and overcooked waffles. With an hour to go until the end the juices were all empty and the toast finished and twice I had to ask for things to be refilled. Similarly with pool towels, we went to the pool at 4pm and 10am and both times they were out of pool towels and we had to walk round to find someone. Overall a bit disappointing

Rooms are nice people are great, but it's not near anything. It's pricey but if you want food or groceries you have a big walk ahead.

Breakfast is so so. Restaurant is great for dinner but serving time is long. The hotel can only extend the check out time until 1pm. There will be $15/hour charges if you intend to check out at 2pm.

The staff here are amazing. We asked for so many things of them and all requests were fulfilled with kindness. Rooms are quieter on the garden/pool side.

The staff are very very helpful, they managed to get me a slot on a tour that wouldn't accept a solo traveller. They explain to you how get to places and give you recommendations. The location is walking distance from all the attractions and 10 minutes away from the airport. The rooms are clean.

I didn't live here but was invited for workshop. I left my bag there. My sister called the place, the people who work there is very responsible. All my things was safe and a happy smile 😁 go home. The food is satisfactory.

we booked the hotel in 2017 back when it was newly renovated and we enjoyed our stay back then so this is the reason why we recently booked it again in Dec 31 2022- Jan 1, 2023. Our flight arrived at 930pm so we checked in about a quarter before 11pm. Unfortunately, the experience was so disappointing. The minute our taxi dropped us off at the entrance the doorman just opened the door for us. We are 3 women traveling with our senior citizen dad. A bit of assistance in carrying the luggages to the lobby is the least you could do esp for hotel guests. Check in was swift, however, when we asked if we could check out late due to late check in.. we were informed that every hour would be extra BND15/- per room. And we booked 2 rooms. That's disappointing again! I have checked in many hotels and never had this issue. When we got to our room, it smelled moldy but once we turned on the AC it masked thru the air as we brought some air freshener. There were so many toiletries missing in our toilet. For example we booked two rooms good for 2 pax each room. Its common sense that two sets of shampoo, conditioner and wash should be provided in each room but only one set was provided. Also the basic complementaries such as the toothbrush, shaving kit, comb and shaving cream had to be upon request. We are coming in late and tired.. we wished everything would have been already ready instead of having to request and wait for staff to deliver it to our doors at midnight. Honestly the only improvement I saw from 2017 that they have now is the breakfast. It has more options now with the egg station, western breakfast to local breakfast and a cereal, juice bar as well as a coffee machine. The beds in both deluxe rooms were comfy and clean too but that is all the good things I can say about my stay. Very disappointed and not worth the prices charged. Moved to a different hotel with better services.

Scrumptious breakfast menu with choice of buffet or order off the menu. Mixture of Continental and Asian items at very reasonable prices. Very busy restaurant with hotel and outside guests. Long-standing popularity with tourists due to central location, resort style layout and excellent customer service.

Everything about this hotel is perfection. Staff, staff, staff… you get the point, plus location and the restaurants. Brunei was an amazing experience, and this hotel only made it better. Thank you!

Hotel located about 10 mins walk to Yayasan shopping mall. There is also a night food market opposite the hotel. Room is ok. I got one of the rooms facing the back so it’s nice to have greenery view/pool for a change. Hotel is quiet. Bed is comfortable and I like the coffee/tea making facilities in room. Wi-Fi is strong. The shower room should have a sliding glass door to prevent water from splashing all over the bathroom floor Breakfast is very average. I think when I stayed here for 4 nights, it was the same nasi lemak and porridge! They just changed the fried noodles. Didn’t really try the Western option. Didn’t utilise the pool and gym but it looks ok and functional! I sat by the pool a few times and it was nice. The concierge and front staff was helpful. However I didn’t like that I had to pay for late checkout. My flight was 6pm but was only allowed late checkout at 1pm. Overall a good place to stay.

Room was immaculate. Nicely designed, a bit classic but I personally like it. Equipment in the gym has good variety. My only gripe is the breakfast. English breakfast but could be improved. Lack of variety. Presentation was on point though.

Be prepared the hotel serve English breakfast per person only 1 set and only a cup of coffee,Tea or Juice … if you want to add than need to pay extra charge for BND 5 for a coffee . I never experience a hotel breakfast need to charge if refill for a coffee .

It was one week stay at this hotelfor self quaranteen period. The rooms whoch are used for these purposes were so dirty. After that period, we have seen the hotel is actually not so bad. The location of it is good.

I did my mandatory quarantine here and it was an excellent choice. The room is big enough, equipped with the essentials, reliable AC. The food is good, always delivered in time, three times a day. They are very careful of finding alternatives if you have allergies as well as taking care of your food preferences (western or asian) The hotel's restaurant's menu includes a variety of food choices, definitely you won't get bored. Service is great. I had a few stuff delivered to me and they made sure to bring it to my door always following the anti-covid practices. They are disinfecting quite often on the hallway which is a good sign. Great experience overall!

Best hotel in Bandar which located next to city center (might not be totally center but still acceptable distance to walk). The room was nice as well as its amenities and facilities. However, the A/C often disfunction which lead to too cold (under 22 deg C). The breakfast and in-room dining was excellent and so many choices to select
