This
is
a
must-visit
for
all
visitors
coming
to
Brunei!
The
food
is
remarkably
delicious
and
cheap,
the
atmosphere
and
energy
is
really
something
to
experience,
and
the
merchants
are
very
friendly
-
especially
towards
tourists,
since
this
market
is
absolutely
not
a
"tourist
market",
this
is
a
real
night
market
that
is
a
true
gem
of
Brunei
culture.
Throughout
its
2
main
open-air
rows
of
shops,
you
can
find
a
variety
of
food
and
drinks,
including
local
fruits
like
durians,
tarap,
and
cempedak,
local
drinks
like
teh
tarik,
ABC,
and
local
sodas,
and
of
course
local
foods,
ranging
from
Malay
to
Japanese,
Korean,
and
Chinese
influenced
dishes,
as
well
as
some
you
can
only
get
in
Brunei
(do
your
research
ahead
of
time
to
find
the
local
dishes
and
see
if
you
can
get
them
here,
you
probably
can!).
The
meals
range
from
"roti
john"
to
satay
to
nasi
lemak
to
mie
goreng
to
all
sorts
of
fried
fish
and
other
meats,
and
with
so
much
variety
I
even
recommend
coming
back
here
on
multiple
nights
if
you
get
the
chance.
I
doubt
there
is
a
tastier,
cheaper,
and
more
authentic
place
to
get
dinner
anywhere
else
in
town
than
here
at
the
night
market.
Final
notes:
there
is
lots
of
parking,
lots
of
hand
wash
stations,
and
mostly
ample
seating.
The
market
is
not
walled
so
the
temperature
is
actually
quite
nice
inside.
