❌❌WORST THEME PARK EVER - AVOID❌❌ 🛑No soap in toilets. 🛑Abandoned rides. 🛑Dreadful staff who are unhelpful.🛑🚑 Screws loose on deathtrap rides🛑🚑. My 4 year old son couldn't go on most of the rides which were shut and the only ones left were dreadful. When we went to exit the park they said no refunds even though we went on one ride before realising it was awful and nothing open. Some of the rides are rusting away saying "maintenance" and I saw screws loose on the water ride so it's only a matter of time before someone gets injured or dies here. The only good rides here look like the 4D ride that you have to pay extra to go on upon entry. ❌❌❌ Don't trust the 5⭐ reviews from locals who clearly haven't ever been to another theme park in their lives. The sooner they shut this down the better because it is criminal for them to charge for this park that hasn't been looked after since the 1990's.🛑🛑🛑

Nice surprise when visited Brunei in 2004. Empty park. It has to be the only park where you could stay on the same ride on an on as there was no queue.

A friend of Brunei told us there is a theme park in Jerudong Park, that’s near where we usually going, so we decided to visit here on last Sunday. The place was great, I saw lots of parents bring their kids to enjoy there weekend. The 4D cinema is amazing and exciting, sadly the ticket cover one time play one, if you want to play more, you need to pay BND3 for 3 more rides. And there’s a water park in the playground as well, unfortunately we haven’t bring our swimsuits, the people inside seems having a lots of fun there during the hot sunny day. Luckily there were not a lot of tourists, we did not need to wait for the queue hehe

Nice place to play. Can happily play all games without hesitation because it doesn't extreme and no need to queue. $25 worthy. Play from morning to night during weekend. Have 5-10minutes prayer breaks for all games. Must bring a lots of water because place is too hot. Most of vending machines is not working and kiosk quite far from each.

They added new features to the park but nothing like what it used to be. The closure every 30 min to pray is just appalling. Why don't you just hire staffs who don't need to pray so you can keep the park open! And worst they only open in the evening. With children rides. They expect children to stay and play until midnight. No brainer. Park is clean and tidy. Some rides are old. If they don't close every minutes or so might have rated them higher. There is just no way u can finish all those rides in one visit. Rip off.

Jerudong Park will always have a place in my heart. I played here a lot when I was a child and the rides have improved a lot, and the number increases as well. For locals they charge $15 per adult, per entry. The ticket is valid for one day which means you can leave at anytime of the day and come back before it closes. I usually leave the premises to go to the food court nearby whenever I get hungry (the food inside the playground is priced at a higher price which is not worth it). The food in the food court is cheaper with the sufficient amount to get you full. It's a Muslim friendly place. They provide prayer rooms inside the premises and there's also a 45 minute break in between for the call of prayers where all the rides are closed. There are a variety of rides to choose from; a lot, actually. The $15 will not go to waste if you spend the time to enjoy most of them. My particular favourite is the telekombat which is a spinning ride that enables you to control whether or not you wanna go upwards or Downwards or rotate clockwise or anti-clockwise - kind of like an Octopus ride. My other favourite is the Ice lagoon - not much of an ice but the ride is a little thrilling. The only thing that causes for concern is the Plunge Lagoon, which I only rode once and never wanted to look back due to the lack of safety the ride provides. There weren't any safe bars to hold the person in place so when I rode on it, I almost fell out of the ride and it made me feared for my life. Hopefully they'll work on this issue in the future.

A clean, relaxing and peaceful park with picturesque view. It's a good place for family, regardless of age, to chill and unwind. There are dedicated exercise areas meant for people to practice calisthenics and there is also a jogging track. Do practice caution when strolling along the pathway as there are people riding bicycles and tricycles. These small vehicles can be rented from the vendors at the park. There are also food vendors in the vicinity of the park.

Still amazing after so many years, very clean and well maintained. Staff were very polite and friendly. But the crowd has quieten down, which is very unfortunate. Please keep supporting this venue, my child had so much fun at the water park and the rides.

This is the only themed amusement park in Borneo. It is also my childhood weekend go-to place. Although it is no longer free and as grand as it was in the park, but it has now fully revamped with new rides and playground. The full package entrance fare for family (parents and 2 children) is collectible for $40 for residence, otherwise $50 for tourist.

Went there ride the rollercoaster and ferris wheel was alright, the playground is fun. I liked the train transport in the park, reduces walks around the park especially during hot weather. During evening, the lights are really highlight of the park and really nice to see and take pictures of. The staff shows great customer service even the security managed us well. They are helpful with direction in the Jerudong Park, it is handy for people not use to the Map. Atmosphere could use more shade because Brunei is hot climate country, increase the thrill for the rollercoaster with more drops and speed can be benefit for thrill seekers. Wish to see more thoughts on attractions, service and coming up with event collaboration to increase profit so Jerudong Park can increase experience moments for park visitors!

It is a grand luxurious playground where Michael Jackson performed in 1994. However it fell to some issues and many of the original rides were taken out. Now it's privatized and new rides are being put up slowly like a ferris wheel, go kart, water playground, flying fox, others. One of the main original centrepiece is the "crystal diamond" in the roundabout. However, Brunei is a tropical country and its warm and humid even in night times so it's a bit tiring to walk around. But kids are more flexible and enjoy a lot. An American fastfood, Indonesian restaurant and a food court with lots of option is open to the visitors.

It is a really nice amusement park. It isn't that big compared to what you can see in other countries, but it has a huge advantage - there are no waiting times, you can just stay on the ride for as much as you want. The waterpark is also great, and 2 hours should be enough for going on the slides several times. If you come with kids you can easily spend a whole day here. As a minus, it was quite complicated to find a way back to the city centre if you don't have a car. It took us about 1 hour to find a Dart. There are no organised shuttles and no taxis either.

Beautiful park by the riverside and near to Omar Ali Mosque. A good place to do exercise, take photos or relax with your family, best time to go is late afternoon when the weather is cool. There are different sorts of bicycles available for rent.

Most rides are too short in contrast to the wait time and is a far cry compared to the Jerudong Park I remembered in my childhood days. What I hated most was that all rides will be closed twice a day(?) for nearly an hour around 5pm AND 7pm for prayers. What's worse is that there's nothing you can do but simply roam aimlessly during those times as even the vendor shops are closed as well... While I understand and respect the Muslims have to pray, but the management should be able to hire non-Muslims to man the ride while the others went to pray. Oh and the water theme park is not worth paying extra for. It's simply a big pool with a giant playground in the center. Rather than calling it theme park, it's actually just a playground.

Just wanted to come here for the water park, unfortunately the ticket doesn’t sell separately, so had to pay for full without playing any rides. Just to play 25mins waterpark 🥲. Additional, Got cut from the ticket wrist band🥹. Have fun on your weekend 🫶🏻

Spacious and peaceful park . Good place for exercise or jogging in the morning and sightseeing in the late afternoon towards sunset. Its more lively in in the afternoon though especially towards evening as mobile street foods stalls are set up for the locals and tourists . You may also find bike rentals wherein for two or four can ride together . At night you will enjoy the lights of the park with the beautiful mosque at the center.

This place is good for both nature lovers and hikers. You can have a nice walk into the well maintained rain forests with different varieties of trees. You can feel the surrounding atmosphere within the park is full of fresh air. It is safe to walk as there are no wild animals. Bring your water bottles and wear appropriate attire for humid and warm climate. After your walk, you can visit the local restaurants which is ten minutes away. Good for family outings.

Hi. I’m contacting you to inform you that i had a really bad hospitality in the jerudong park. Specifically the people at the zipline area really made me uncomfortable, and made fun of me. These workers should know how to treat travellers not act like a king of their kingdom and downgrade people. Seems like jerudong park isn’t a place for tourists after all. Might not recommend JP to my mutuals.a

I remember when this first opened, it was so good. I even met Michael Jackson on the grounds a few days prior to his performance. Unfortunately, a lot of the good rides are gone. There are zero thrill rides (no, the pirate ship and the scary drop are not thrill rides). Everything is very spaced out. All rides stop during prayer times. Anything half decent requires an extra fee. Toilets are few and far between and they are pretty gross. No toilet paper. One of the ladies toilets had soap but no running water! I had already dispensed soap onto my hands so my husband had to sneak me into the men's in order to wash my hands! Thankfully, there was no one in there. You are limited to attending the water park only during your allocated 2 hour window, and the change rooms are always so packed it's impossible to get changed. All in all, I think it's okay for small children, but kids over the age of 11 will probably get bored very easily.

New park, in the middle of BSB town, near to Masjid and Yayasan. Very nice place to hangout with friends, family and kids. This park is designed and build very nicely. Well arranged in the bay of Sungai Kedayan. Lots of parking available. Food stalls near to entrance serving tasty local foods and drinks. Electric bikes, bicycles and 4 seat pedals are available on rental. It's really funny to ride on. This park is always open and not too crowded.

  • 1/5 antah k. 6 years ago on Google
Food stalls around here erodes the beauty of the park and its surroundings, create congestions due to rampant side parkings on two lane road and the authorities won’t dare to remove them out of the place. It is clearly posted on the notice board that food stalls aren’t allowed to operate within the vicinity of the park but those vendors won’t abide by the rules.

Oh dear, how very disappointing, only a quarter of the rides are open ( due to Covid restrictions) , but the are still charging full price entry!! It would have been a really nice gesture to all of Brunei to open up its door for free or at least half the price. It would have given the place a buzz and got people talking about it. So it remains a sad, decrepit, empty unfun park. ☹

I was really let down by my recent experience at the theme park. The staffs seemed a bit distant and uninterested, which was a bummer. The wait time for prayers was also way too long, almost 30 minutes! I couldn't help but wonder if they could hire more workers, perhaps non-Muslims, to help out during prayer times. Back in the 90s, the wait time was only 5 minutes, so it's definitely something that needs to be improved. On top of that, I wasn't too thrilled about having to pay extra for some of the new rides, especially when the tickets are already pretty pricey enough considering some of the rides were under maintenance.
