There are not that many hotels to choose from in Brunei, but this is one I would absolutely recommend. A 10/10 place to stay, simply because of its strategic location and availability of free shuttle services to and from key places of interest as well as free airport transfers. This was highly appreciated as it is notoriously difficult to get a cab/bus in Brunei as public transport isn’t really a thing here. The shuttle service works by following a pick up/drop off schedule, so you’ll need to plan your day accordingly. Alternatively, you can opt to walk, as it’s within walking distance to the major attractions like the water village (Kampung Ayer) and the mosque. My stay came with breakfast buffet included everyday which was nothing to shout about, but was a nice comfort to have, especially since I had activities that started really early in the morning. The room was incredibly spacious. The bed and pillows were a bit hard, but I didn’t find it too much of a problem. They lacked a safe deposit box which was a bit of a downer. Some items were not provided until asked for specifically, like the hairdryer and also more paper cups for your coffee/tea in the room on the next day. Other than that, my stay was great and the staff were always willing to assist. Would absolutely stay here again if I find myself in Brunei again!

Enjoyable stay here. Other guests commented they also enjoyed their time here. Our room was small with a huge modern bathroom where luggage can be stored without getting wet. The shower was very good. There was no safe, but had an ironing board. No food places nearby except for the night market about 10 minutes walk away but only open a few nights in the week. Adequate simple breakfast included at the hotel. Can walk to the town center in about 45 minutes. The shuttle bus is a bonus and can be requested by guests to get to various locations including the airport. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Nice hotel and friendly staff. Rooms are a good size and clean. Walls are slightly thin so can hear some noise from next door but not a big problem. A short walk to all the main attractions. Breakfast is ok. The biggest benefit of this hotel is the complimentary shuttle bus that provides free pick up and drop off at the airport (pre book recommended). They can also drop you off and the main attractions around town which is an added benefit. Would definitely stay again.

We stopped one night after a long flight from London. Everything about our stay was perfect. Free airport pickup was super as taxis in Brunei are rare. Staff at the hotel were very friendly and accommodating, they went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The room was very clean and comfortable with a great shower. Breakfast was plentiful and the free on- demand shuttle to take us to local attractions was a lovely touch. Will be staying again on our return journey. Thoroughly recommend taken a stopover if flying long haul Royal Brunei. Brunei is very peaceful and the ideal place for some rest between long flights. The airport is close to the city centre and never busy.

It is a hotel with a great quality to price ratio. It offers mostly everything a 3 star hotel should have. I would underline some of the following positive aspects: - great cleanliness (they really do scrub and mop the floors, you can easily walk barefoot around the room without feeling dirty) - staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful, in true Bruneian style (as we have recently found out) - the transport service is a nice touch and will save you some dollars on Dart (the local Uber). Mind you, on busy days the service is done based on availability and other customer's needs, so on some of the trips we chose to go by ourselves. And some of the longer journeys which require extra payments (like the Empire Brunei or Jerudong Amusement Park) are actually cheaper with Dart. But overall a great plus for this hotel. - breakfast is good. Around 6 choices every morning, all quite tasty - water is supplied for free Areas where some improvement might be necessary: - we booked a superior room but the size is not actually that big. There is no wardrobe or closet where you can put your clothes (just a small clothes hanger area) so we ended up putting them around the room. - some amenities like toothbrushes and toothpaste could be supplied in the room.

Went for their Salo Salo buffet at the restaurant next to hotel lobby. So good to have buffet, now allowed after 2+year covid restriction. They serve great Filipino foods! Plenty of variety of dishes ranging from, grilled chicken, beef, fish and their sumptuous lumpia (spring roll). Service was very good and food are being refill constantly. Recommended.

The rooms were cute however the beds are very hard. It comes with 2 pillows and if you want more (we were 2 people) you had to pay $2 per night, per extra pillow. The air con did not blow cold. The shower was nice, the water was hot. They have water jugs that you can refill your water. We were also able to check in early, which was nice since we landed in Brunei before checkin time. The hotel is well located and you could walk to most main areas.

The free transport option offered on arrival at the airport was a very appealing aspect at this hotel and it was seamless when arriving late at night. The city’s roads were deserted so the journey didn’t take long and the welcome from the reception was superb, feeling so friendly and more like arriving into someone’s home than a hotel. It may feel a little tucked away and at times more of a business office location, but it was the ideal spot for a short break in the city and all the main sights are easily walkable. There’s two buildings for the accommodation and mine was on the second floor in the alternative building. There is a decent lift as well as stairs available to use and the room itself was a good enough size. It was a little basic and functional, but with the prices charged I can’t complain. Be sure to close the blind in the shower at night else the glass door allows the morning sun throughout the whole room, but the air-conditioning worked well, there’s plugs by the side of the bed and a decent enough desk for doing any work. The TV was small and there isn’t a huge amount of storage but everywhere at least seemed very clean. Noise from outside was minimal, given the hotel is tucked away in it’s own carpark, although it was possible to hear water running throughout the building from other rooms throughout the night. Breakfast continued the friendly ‘home run’ affair and was quite nice. There’s a decent number of hot dishes on the buffet and the live omelette station is a good touch. Again all the staff are super welcoming and can’t do enough to help. There’s a mix of tables with many suitable for large groups as well. I can’t comment on their evening offering since it was closed for a private function. If you’re looking for the height of luxury and modernness you’ll be disappointed, but for a clean comfortable room, in a great location with welcoming atmosphere, certainly consider it - I will be again and it’s brilliant value.

I had an excellent experience staying at this hotel, the staff is always attentive and anticipates guests needs. I tried the family suite and for the price it is huge with two bedrooms with their ensuite bathrooms, full kitchen and a washing machine. The hotel also offers a complimentary shuttle to visit various locations in Brunei which is a big plus as navigating without a vehicle in Brunei is challenging. It is tucked away in a quiet area so if you like a peaceful stay near downtown area it would be a good choice.

Had a very nice and clean room and bathroom. The breakfast was not large, but ok. It is located near to the city center, so you can easily walk. The hotel also provides a free shuttle service to some surrounded locations and to the airport. Also the staff was helpful, check in and check out was very easy. Had a very good time there, five stars!

Really good value for what you pay. Clean, tidy, well equipped. Staff friendly. Decent breakfast. Central location. We stayed at nearby Raddison Hotel for well over 3x the cost, wasn't worth it. If you want value for money in Brunei, stay here.

Great quarantine hotel for family! It has a suite with 2 en-suite bedroom that comes with a fully equipped kitchen as well as a washing machine. For the quarantine package, all 3 meals are included and upgraded options are possible from their a la carte menu. It is also in town centre where it’s convenient for any drop offs if friends are sending things. Bearing in mind the price that you pay is not for a 5 star hotel the service and facilities are great value for money. Great internet too for us to work and study remotely.

Great hotel in Brunei for the price you pay, they offer free shuttle services around the city to major tourist attractions so you can save money on taxi fares. The staff are friendly and try to help you have the best time in Brunei, the beds are comfortable and clean, and the breakfast is decent. I highly recommend this hotel in Brunei

Very good option for a stay in town. It's walking distance to the waterfront area and the market, plus there's a shuttle service not only for airport pickup but also to the major sights which was a big help in navigating the city and lack of public transport. The room was spacious and came with a kettle and fridge, also very helpful. Only there was a strange lingering smell I couldn't quite pin down. AC works well and you can refill water in the reception area, so good for avoiding plastic. Quiet location and ok breakfast.

Most of the main tourist sites are within walking distance of the hotel and the hotel also offers a shuttle to go to many of the different tourist areas. A hotel itself is very much like a traveler hotel. They're not a lot extra the rooms are very minimal. The thing that impressed me that was the driver offered to take us for free to stop at a few extra smaller places so that we could take photos. I was very impressed with him going above and beyond.

Great service and value for money. You get free pickup from the airport and also the shuttle bus, that can take you to various places around the city. The driver even made stops at the main mosques to let us take photos. Also good breakfast, nice staff and the center in walking distance.

Best choice for travelers. They have a shuttle and it's for free as long as it's booked early. Clean room, breakfast included, friendly staff and at the center. There are cats and monkeys at the parking area sometimes haha.

Oklah decent place. Walking distance for many great places but if it's raining season than better use Dart (app like Grab but Brunei version). Shuttle was provided and Dart also easy to get.

The staffs here are all very help and nice, I love the room even thought the aircon had some problem, but service staff move me into another good room effectively. Anyway, I must say I love Brunei, and I will come back to there again, I miss all the beautiful views and nice people there!

Located not far from regalia museum. However the road to the hotel is a bit confusing, may involved making u-turn at someone's gate. The lane is a bit narrow too. Breakfast was simple buffet.

The location of the hotel is 15 minutes from the airport. The complimentary airport pick up and drop off is a major highlight for tourist to stay at this hotel. There is a free shuttle to go to main attractions in Bandar Seri Begawan. You can to walk to nearby attractions from the hotel. Breakfast is basic but does not compromises the taste. I had pleasant stay at this hotel. Friendly staff, water pressure is good in the bathroom. If you do not have a car, it is recommended to stay at this hotel.
