I had 3 nights quarantine in this hotel. I like this hotel. Room is roomy with a big window, wifi is great, decor and furniture is simple, the mattress is GREAT. The only 2 complains I have is it's TV channels and I would like it if the bathroom has more lighting. Overall, I had a great stay. 👍 The front desk lady was polite and friendly and helpful.

231204-05 nothing to blame, room was clean, hair dryer equipped, there’s embroidery of the hotel’s logo on their towels. breakfast was not my taste, only liked the self make arabic coffee. i took a cold shower since there was no hot water coming out, but my mom didn’t face this situation so don’t know if it’s just occasional.

The bedroom is spacious, clean, and modern. When you book, make sure you book the hotel room (bathroom is inside), otherwise you may get the bedroom without bathroom. Breakfast food is simple but taste good. Location is near the airport. Overall, it was a satisfying experience.

Room is very clean, toilet and accommodation are new.. only reason this deserves a 3 star is solely just because it does not come equip with a smart TV is these modern times, you will need to find your own entertainment when you are inside the room, there are no ways to pass the time otherwise.

Clean, Luxurious, comfortable and smoke-free even after smokers left. Great for a stay. In penthouse - Sound system speaker needs revitalization; digital song catalog computer seems 40% available for customers. 60% popular songs needs VIP access, and, unavailable songs can't be downloaded. Maybe your hotel only focus more on staying customers (not singing customers). Thanks for listening. Have a great day. :-)

Facilities are good and the room was very spacious. There is a laundromat right next to the hotel. Breakfast restaurant needs improvement as they serve pretty much same things every day.

As a quarantine/isolation centre, this hotel was the best choice made. Chose the suite coz I needed the room to roam and work. Super comfy bed, pillow, sofa and dining set. Aircon is cool and soundproof is superb given that my room faced the main road and I don't hear the traffic at all. You can open the windows to let in fresh air too. Strong shower water pressure, with hot water. Very prompt service and they even provided a carton of drinking water on top of a big bottle every day! At B$85/night, comes with 3 meals a day...no menu options to choose from so you get what is cooked each day, although you can inform them of dietary needs ahead of time. Lunch & dinner are rice meals everyday so don't expect western cuisine. That said, their food is actually quite tasty. Meal times are set at 7am, 12pm and 6pm. Wifi was good for me, no issues like how some have commented...was able to work and stream online with only a few instances of dropped signals. Spent B$475 all in for 5days, in comfort and was well looked after. The only letdown was their transpo to/fro airport and test centre... it's a rundown mini bus with no cool aircon and windows wired shut. Considering we were charged $50 each for that, it's a huge ripoff. Note: There isn't a broom or cleaning agents for you to keep the place tidy so best to keep clean as you go. And NO satellite channels, just local TV and radio stations to play some music. But TV has USB connection to play your shows frm a hard drive.

Stayed here because I got kicked out of the house by my abusive uncle for having a panic attack. The hotel was nice. Ratieno Eddy Erwan, if you're reading this, f you. I did not deserve that ON MY BIRTHDAY.

Reasonable price & strategic location, walkable distance to the town, or can get a public bus to the town, many choices of shop for food.

No complain for the price we paid. A private room in a shared apartment, complete with fridge and washing machine. The only downside is there is no phone provided to contact the reception so I had to walk all the way to the other building just to request for iron and iron board hahaha Would be great if there’s a simple dining table at the kitchen area to socialize with the other guests 🤭 Pro tip: buy a brunei sim card so you can install dart (Grab like app). We walked to and fro the bandar (good for health but not for our legs 😭)

The room is big and clean. The bed is comfortable. But the bathroom shower water pressure was bad. The toilet could not flush properly. Probably due to poor maintenance.

It is one of the best budget hotels to stay. Near airport and town. Many restaurants nearby to dine in.

Worst hotel I been in. Cooler don't keep your drinks cold, no room service, carpet is dirty. You want an extra pillow they charge you $3. Shower stops working then comes back on, same with the hot water. Maintains won't come up because he don't speak english. Front desk could careless of issues you have. internet is hit and miss. Breakfast is not that great and the food is cold. If you are english speaking forget about conversing with staff and no english tv channels. Construction going on above us drilling and hammering all day long. No fridge no microwave, they do have a tea kettle.

Pros: - Spacious room - Generally clean - Comfortable bed - Sufficient electric sockets - Included powdered coffee and RO water Cons: - Breakfast that can’t even serve real juice - Having to pay extra for Dimsum is kinda cheap tbh. I know it’s a budget hotel but don’t put it in the same area - Rubbish bags left in the corridors at night - Dated TV - Some lights in my room aren’t functioning - The bathroom mirror has light going from bottom-up (your face is still dark) - Glass panel between the shower and the toilet does not cover half of the splashes

Reposted from Agoda: Not sure if we were just unlucky, after having read many positive reviews. However, this is how we perceived it: Pretty much the title. Other than being rather central there is not much else to say. We arrived late at ~11 pm to an extremely smelly room. We discovered the cause of that smell real quick because there were big chunks of mold next to the AC. The only window in the room faced the drying room, so the only possible way to get "fresh air" was to use the moldy AC. Also there was no soap in the bathroom and the staff was really unhelpful (apparently they couldn't do anything about it, neither they could help us with water, since shops were closed). Considering we were sharing a bathroom with at least three other partys, this is not acceptable. I am very surprised, because the reputation of this hotel is pretty good, judging from what our dart driver has told us. Even just for a nightly stay, the rancid and (extremely) unhealthy odour of mold was the worst.

Decent budget hotel, clean and relatively new compared to other local hotels. Has a bathtub. Good value for money. At the fringe of a shopping area, there is a 24-hr laundry shop right next to it, a family mart and some other little shops. You will have to cross a busy small road to get to some restaurants. Keeping in mind there are no pedestrian walkways in Brunei.

the reason why i gave 1 star is because of 1 incident happen, it was on 26 September probably around 2019 or 2020 or 2021.. that time kami sefamily check in pasal ada birthday event at restaurant ada sana.. but my late father... that time ada AV fistula (if you don't know, you can google it..it is An AV fistula is how patients are connected to a dialysis machine.) and pagi nya my late father ani ada dialysis.. and maybe lah the cotton yg kana pasang is inda kuat until it bleed out again.. and.. darahnya atu like really banyak keluarnya.. and we did call receptionist to give us first aid kit... but yg membuat aku marah is dorang just bagi very cute little plaster.. until i have to go down to ask again .. and they don't really have so i have to rush to nearest Guardian at Seri Kiulap to buy the things needed such as gam, swab gauze and alcohol.. (With full of blood on my pants) and back to the hotel... they don't even bother to help us dealing in that emergency situation.. like you could ask anything instead of JUST STANDING inside.. fast forward the next day we check out and they surely charge us $100 pasal KATILNYA BEDARAH... like =__='' i don't want to talk much just pay and leave.. please improve guys.. especially dealing with this kind of emergency..

While the hotel is clean with ample parking space, has friendly staff, and close to amnesties and eateries, the Higher Cafe need properly trained waitress, who doesn't treat the hotel cafe like a kopitiam. Though they are understaffed during the Covid era, they need to improve on how to receive hotel guests with breakfast voucher in hand. Their table setting also need to be organised so that no strangers are sitting together in the round table.
