👍 Neat place to visit. Very well taken care of and maintained. One thing, watch for ticks here. Pulled three off my legs after walking the trail. People often mention Disney, visit,

I was staying in Hamilton Missouri. I was looking for some fun things to add into my stay there. I found out that Walt Disney grew up in Marceline Missouri. I went to the museum and came to check out the dreaming tree and the barn. Keep in mind that if it's rainy or has rained that you should wear appropriate footwear. It's a very short walk but it can be very muddy. It was really cool to check this out. Seeing all of the signatures inside the recreated barn was pretty neat. You can also walk to a small pond. I recommend checking this out after you've been to the museum.

Stopped here when I had some time to kill. Very peaceful and we'll maintained. Really enjoyed the tidbits shared on the placards as you do the shirt walk to the Barn. Well worth the time if your are a Disney fan or just looking to pass the time.

This was a nice visit to Walt's hometown. Make sure to visit some of the local sites like the replica farm house, the trains the local post office and the vintage Coca Cola logo art in town. If you want a Disney first day cover cancellation at the post office, you'll need to purchase a stamp or postcard at the museum, then go to the post office to do so. The postmaster is quite accommodating, but he doesn't necessarily carry Disney items.

Well, I just had to check out more Disney history, so I landed here! I came here with my significant other intending on it being a special spot. A huge plus of this experience was that it was Free To The Public. There were signs throughout the land that were interesting and helped guide me during my visit. The Original Dreaming Tree was honored with a sign near where it once stood. Unfortunately, it was struck by lightning in 2008. Not too many feet away, The Son of Dreaming Tree was planted. Walt’s Barn was towards the end of my walk. It was built by volunteers in the summer of 2001 to help celebrate Walt’s birthday. It had a rustic look for sure! I was surprised that it was built so recent. I walked inside and it didn’t disappoint. Overall, I’m glad I stopped here! It was definitely worth the visit. If I’m ever near Marceline in the future, I’ll probably stop by again. Date of visit: Dec 3, 2023

It's a very nice surprise if you are a big fan of Disney. It takes you back to see how h9s childhood might have been. The cabin is very nice and the inside is interesting. It's something to experience at least once.

Nice little area. Unfortunately there isn't much to see Original tree fell years before now growing a new one from original seeds. On site is also a copy of Walt's family boyhood barn.

The beauty and magic that this place holds is amazing. The land is serene and surreal. Knowing Walt Disney spent his childhood days frolicking around here added to the flair. Too bad the original tree fell a few years ago.

Curious place to see, but it's not a big deal.
