Well, my friends, let's talk about the infamous Treendale Farm Hotel in Western Australia, a place that boldly claims to be the best pub in the entire region. Now, when you hear such a boast, your expectations naturally skyrocket, and you find yourself eagerly anticipating a culinary adventure like no other. But alas, sometimes reality has a way of knocking the wind out of our sails. And it seems that the Treendale Farm Hotel might have stumbled a bit in their quest for greatness. I can feel your disappointment as you recount your experience. The buffalo chicken wings and prawn tostada, touted as stars of the menu, arrived at your table in a less-than-satisfactory state—cold. Now, my friends, we all know that cold dishes can be the death knell for any dining experience. The flavors become muted, the textures lose their appeal, and that excitement we had hoped for fizzles out like a damp firework. But let's not dwell solely on the negatives. I've heard whispers that the Treendale Farm Hotel boasts an impressive outdoor playground, a veritable wonderland for the little ones. And that, my friends, is a saving grace. It shows that they care about creating an environment where families can come together, enjoy a meal, and provide a space for the young rascals to burn off some energy. A smart move indeed, for it's a rare joy to find a pub that caters to both the young and the young-at-heart. Now, my fellow wanderers, disappointment can be a bitter pill to swallow, but it's not the end of the story. As the great culinary adventurer that I am, I implore you to consider giving the Treendale Farm Hotel another chance. Reach out to the management, share your experience, and give them an opportunity to make amends. After all, even the best of establishments can stumble along their journey. In the world of dining, my friends, highs and lows are part of the tapestry we weave. It's in these moments of disappointment that we truly learn what an establishment is made of. Will they rise to the occasion, learn from their missteps, and strive to deliver the greatness they claim? Or will they falter and remain mired in mediocrity? So, my friends, let the Treendale Farm Hotel know your disappointment, but keep an open mind. Perhaps your next visit will yield a different tale, one filled with culinary delights and warm satisfaction. Remember, in the ever-evolving world of dining, surprises abound, and sometimes it's those second chances that lead us to unexpected moments of culinary brilliance. Safe travels and may your future gastronomic adventures be filled with flavors that dance on your palate, service that warms your heart, and memories that linger long after the plates are cleared.

Ribs were delicious, huge portions! Onion rings and grilled corn were lovely sides to match the mains. Waiting time was a little long but to be expected on a Friday night. Would definitely be back!

Have heard a lot about this relatively new venue. Very pleased we had the opportunity to attend a family birthday party there. Although it was a weeknight it was very busy. We had reserved a large table for 14. The younger members of our group enjoyed playing in the playground whilst everyone else sat at the table. Ordering was easy and even though they were flat out with patrons we didn't have to wait too long before the food arrived. Generous servings and very delicious from all concerned. The wait staff were very attentive and helpful. I would highly recommend this for a family gathering.

This was my first time eating at Treendale Farm Hotel. When I first walked in to the place I was overwhelmed by how big the inside was and it kind of reminded me of a huge army mess hall so I was thinking this isn't going to be great especially since it was packed to the rafters. My previous experiences with eateries this large meant a long time to wait to get your meal and of course the quality isn't going to be good. I ordered the pork belly, mashed potato, sauteed red cabbage with red wine jus. Well let me say first off that the wait for my meal was minimal and the taste was out of this world. I was so impressed with the food because at long last I got to eat at a place where the chef didn't kill the taste of the food with too much condiments. The flavours of my dish was a perfect combination where I could actually taste each ingredient and each ingredient married perfectly with the next. Everyone at my table absolutely loved their meals and I can see why. I highly recommended Treendale Farm Hotel to anyone in Bunbury or passing through. It's kid friendly, highly efficient staff as well as super nice. My compliments to the chef and his staff, I am definitely going to be eating there again.

Great pub serving wide selection of craft beers on tap, food is delicious too! Must try spicy chicken wings. Can get a little busy so reserve a table to avoid disappointment. The sports bar is great for after work drinks.

Had some burgers and other mains and totally loved them! They've got a great selection of beers too. If weather is good you can sit outside or lots of seating inside.

We had the squid and the Pad Thai...both were tasty in our opinion. It was very busy the day we were there which is probably a good sign...a reasonable selection of mid strength beer there as well which is a good thing imo.... there were plenty of kids around which is good for some and not good for others! We won't mind going back there at some stage 👍

Awesome pub on trip down south. Ribs special was delectable. Large rack of pork ribs with a spice whisky marinade. Quick service in light of the crowd. Great playground for the kids as well. Solid selection of south West beers as well as the standard lagers.. Highly recommended if you are in the area or passing by..

We are locals and used to come a lot when they first opened but now don't really come much anymore, purely because the food and particularly beers are way too expensive. The beer selection is fantastic but you pay for it. Around $11 for a middy is the cheapest you get for a basic beer... Or on the other hand if you like craft beer like me, you'll be paying $20 for a craft beer. Insane. The food is good, sometimes amazing! other times, standard. The sizes are always really generous though! But once again you pay for it. They have specials but even the specials aren't really cheap these days. The atmosphere is great! It's a really nice place to be at. The service is really quick for such a busy pub. Great pub overall, but as I said we just don't come here because it's too expensive compared to all the other pubs around town.

Had a fish and chips. We checked out portion sizes and decided to share. Just as well…we couldn’t finish it. We got the special fish and squid and chips. Only $20. Forgot to take a photo. I think we went on a day when it was pupil free day for kids. There is an amazing indoor play centre for the kids and I think every kid in Australind was there…😂😂😂Definitely family friendly

Great food and service, staff were also great. Can get noisy inside with just minimal patrons. So if you're going for a family get together you may want to eat outside on the patio. Plenty of parking and it's wheelchair accessible.

People love this place hey. They punch out the food really well. Today (Friday 18th November), I had the brisket with mash. I skipped the onions bc onions are garbage everywhere. The brisket was bliss. Two x 200g (150?) steaks or thereabouts that pulled apart with just a fork. Mash was ace too. The corn, beans and feta were a revelation. And it came out in under 15-20 minutes.

Digusting meal. Had the lamb and it was dry, fatty hard and over cooked. Veges were undercooked and tastless. Overall tasted soo terrible I ended up cutting it up and feeding it to the cat! Kids Pizza was seriously the smallest pizza i have ever seen and it cost $10..like seriously overpriced! Not happy, only postive is the staff were lovely.

Beautiful spacious, clean restaurant with great food options and daily deals. Prices are affordable and generous food portion. The Nasi Goreng meal, the rice was NOT perfectly cooked and some were grainy but other than that we enjoyed our meals and passionfruit mocktail.
