It is pretty hard to rate this hotel. Overall, I found a bit more positives than negatives when doing the evaluation. Positives: reasonable priced, big room with kitchen, separate toilet and bathroom, close to the shopping area, quite and safe area, fridge with free bottle waters and waffle biscuits Negatives: room definitely needs update, lighting too dark, no air conditioning, a bit away from the tourist area, not using smart TV

DRILLING, DRILLING, DRILLING..... Without any warning, we woke up at 7:36 this morning to an absolutely infernal noise: they are drilling heavily next in this hotel and repairing / renovating something. Now it has been going on for over 2,5 hours. We checked in yesterday evening and the receptionist did not say a word about this, didn’t even care to warn us. I have tried to call the reception several times, no answer. I highly recommend everyone to be cautious about Citadines, as they don’t care about their customers.

Generally, the hotel was good. However, what I disliked was the dirty towels. Both times we requested fresh towels, they were dirty. Also, last night some men were heavily intoxicated, and I had to contact the reception to handle the situation because it was very late (around 01:30). Unfortunately, the person at the reception did not take any action. Location was in top ;)

Room did not have A/C and had poor ventilation making it too warm to comfortably sleep at night - front desk staff were kind enough to lend me a fan, but this is really bad for a hotel charging €100 per night. Location was alright, but other than that I would not recommend staying here.

The payment did not properly work. The money i paid for the hotel was blocked on my account after i have paid them. Due to this i had extra fines to pay for other institutions that wanted to make payments from this account. My bank and also research from other sources say that the hotel is responsible to unblock the money in this case. However they did not consider that something could be wrong with their payment system. When i paid the parking, the same happend. I never had this problem with other institutions. In the end i had to pay the extra money and I still cannot access the money on my bank account. Besides, the bed was not cleaned properly. There was hair on the bed and we had to ask for clean bed sheets.

Very clean comfortable rooms with king size bed. Friendly reception and situated 2 minute walk from metro Louise. Many restaurants near by and upmarket shopping. Highly recommended. Kettle, toaster. fridge I

Very friendly staff, big rooms and clean. BUT try to get a room away from the Lift!!!! Very loud, you hear every ride of the Lift. Without earplugs extremely enerving.

The lock of my room was broken or not working. I especially asked for a room with a lock. Instead I had a visit from two strange men in my room, because they gave someone else access and mixing rooms up. Exhausted from a very long travel I was terrified. I was almost sleeping. Couldn’t sleep the whole night and all the hotel had to offer was „sorry“. I think that was the worst experience I ever had on a business trip so far.

This is an apartment hotel and very close to Metro. Fantastic location ! And we were able to go everywhere using Metro. Couple of supermarkets nearby and also inside the Metro station. The apartment was well equipped with toaster , stove tops , cooking vessels , dish washer . electric kettle , microwave and a refrigerator. We had a very comfortable stay as we prefer to cook our own meals.

We stayed here for 1 night, the studios are quite large with a small kitchen. Clean rooms and nice bathroom. Staff was quite friendly. They were rebuilding the lobby downstairs so the lift area was a mess. Overall I would say it's a decent place to stay. Don't expect anything outstanding, but expect everything to be comfortable and well kept.

Filthy. When we wanted to check in, the room wasn't ready. Happens. Came back one hour later and found the room "done" but full of weird brownish stains everywhere and a heavy urine smell from the toilet. White stains on the bed. Told the receptionists, been promised to have it cleaned immediately. Nothing happened, so the next day I went to another receptionist, who told me, they won't clean it, because I didn't book an extra cleaning. When I argued, the mess isn't mine, she asked me to send pictures of the dirt to an email address and they'd take care of the cleaning. Next day, nothing happened. I reached out 4 times in 3 days. Horrible. See attached. Plus, the entire hotel smells unpleasant and is a construction site.

Great place! Thank you very much to all the personnel for being so accomodating... this is a very nice, nicely renovated facility. 24 hrs coffee, tea, etc. We had lots of fun, the location is a bit off but we managed to move around via taxi.

On Sunday, June 11, 2023, I spent the night at the Citadines Apart'hotel Toison d'Or Brussels. At 12 midnight a road crew started work right in front of the hotel. The crew was using a compressor to break up the curb and asphalt right in front of the hotel. Work ended at 5 am. When I addressed the reception they told me that they cannot do anything because it is "state work". Of course, we had not been warned about the road work, and we were not even given earplugs so that we could sleep. Also, no notification of any kind was given to us...

Great apartment, very spacious, clean with everything need. Is like a home away from home.

Great location, but super noisy all night long due to the bar that was open until 0230 and the cleaning crew until 0500. Felt as though I had zero sleep and no Air Con althought 84F outside.

Rooms were large and spacious. We stayed here during a heatwave and there was no air conditioning so it got pretty stuffy in the evenings. We were not aware we could have requested for a fan and only did so after we saw someone else ask for it at the counter. That helped with ventilating the room. I feel like they should have made it known to us that we cld have requested fans. Mixed feelings abt the location. Grocery store right next door and lots of shopping 2-3 mins away but the place was also near a police station and hospital so we heard loud piercing sirens all night and it really disrupted our sleep. Service was abysmal. The counter staff were unfriendly and standoffish. We asked for housekeeping a few times and they never informed the housekeepers. I think we asked about 4,5 times? We were even prepared to pay the extra charge but whatever. Tbh wouldnt stay here again even if it's a bargain.

Didn’t get housekeeping even when requesting it for two consecutive days.

Apparthotel on Touson d Or , one of the biggest shopping streets in Brussels . Not too far from historic center of Brussels . Price quality ok

Location 9,1 Cleaness 9,0 Studio for two - space - 9,0 Internet - 9,8 Nice little kitchen. Misses a oven. But has microwave and dish washer. Practical service and cozy lobby and building.

Feeling like home

In a very nice neighborhood and quite close to old town. Nice and spacey room with dish washer, toaster and electric kettle. Provided towels (one was dirty), but bed was double bed as requested. Also late night check-in was possible (checked in at 1 am).

At first I thought this Apartment Hotel is so small.. as it is very small entry and path to park your car in the available hotel parking lot at basement. However then, the room we found it is great! it's spacious, as good as what you expected from a studio apartment with its facilities. My wish is just to have the bathroom and toilet are in the same room. Great hotel and friendly staff, the location is also great, near the Metro sub (Louise), restaurants and mini market @ the Metro sub entry.

A very clean accomodation. Friendly staff. Parking available underground for 18 euros per 24 hours. Comfortable beds. I recommend especially for families as the kitchenette is useful for preparing simple meals or heating water for babies' milk.

Great location. The studio appartment is nice, and so was the little grey mouse with whom I gad the pleasure to share it... I would have loved to at least find a few teabags in the kitchen cupboard and be able to make tea upon my late arrival. Breakfast is decent but the breakfast room looks like one you would have found in a provincial Romanian hotel back in the 70’s or 80’s: not exactly welcoming!

Nice "apart-hotel", conveniently located close to the metro station. Rooms have own kitchen, and there is a grocery shop right outside - so no need to spend a fortune on breakfast. Prices usually are OK. Only minus, toilets are in a separate room, i.e. not in the bathroom, without own sink.

Service here is almost non-existent. Most of the time there was nobody at the lobby. When there was, they were unfriendly and unhelpful. Not sure... Is that the culture of Apart-hotels? It is located in a convenient location. I would recommend it if service improved and do something about water power and heat in room. It was summer when I went... Hot. But no aircon in room. One window to open but not much air circulation and worst still.. When it started to rain... Puddles in the room.

Very well equipped room it even had a stove with pans. Clean room and had nice staff at the front desk. We kept our luggage here after we checked out for what was basically a whole day which was super convienent and nice. Not to close to brussels city center takes over 25 min to walk to the grand palace but if you dont mind that its a good place to stay.

We spent 2 nights at Citadines Apart'hotel in Oct before catching Eurostar. It is in an ideal location for visiting Brussels and the Metro station is just 1 minute from the Hotel. Handy to have kitchen facilities if you need them. All in all an ideal mid priced accomodation with helpful staff.

Bathtub was clogged - even after two days of asking at the reception nothing was done about it. Had to shower in a friends room. Weird smell in the hallway. Generally not very clean.

Location is very good, room is clean but smells weird, WIFI could not be worse and the noise of the elevator is very loud in some rooms. Not recommended if you plan to work from the hotel.
