Anata is a delicious little restaurant in the center of Beuxelles: asiatic food that represents a great compromise for price and quality. The best location to eat is the hall upstairs: intimate, warm, explosion of tradition! I suggest: the “COMBOX” formulas!! So well done with food “in a box”! 😄 Love it!!

Went to eat there with a friend on their own recommendation. Great food, lovely service. The ramen was insanely good. To add some extra info, timing of adding the ingredients where on point. The Soybean sprouts still perfectly crisp, and the pork not having been too long in the broth to make the coating collapse and crumble off and the noodles were nice and slick like they should be. The ingredients in general are of lovely quality. Also if you'd look at the last pic i added, the empty bowl with only broth, just look at that colour patterns and small droplet beats from oily goodness on top. Its quality was through the roof. Best ramen I have eaten in all of Europe till now, and on top of that the prices are very friendly. I've been at places with way worse quality who charge about 25% more. If I'm ever in brussels again ill for sure hop by again cause i just have to try the other bowls now. I hope this somewhat extra elaborate info might help or convince some people to go try it out, ramen is a hard thing to get good, its pretty hit or miss. And they for sure hit bullseye. Anata has won my heart, I thought we had no good ramen here in Belgium at all until I visited, keep up the great work.

Delicious food, the sashimi is fresh and tasty. However, the staff was rude, making faces and not respectful to the customers. (Avoid the person in the photo) Furthermore, there was hair in the plate.

We came for lunch and luckily we’re able to get a seat! We sat upstairs, but it was still cold for us because we don’t think best was on. The service was amazing and quick! We ordered two bento boxes and the food was fresh and tasty! You get a lot for what you pay, we couldn’t even finish it! Would recommend for a quick stop. Place was packed as well!

Fabulous fresh tasting Japanese cuisine and very well priced. Food arrives quickly. Note that you cannot pay with visa debit or bancontact, only cash or credit card.

Very good place to eat at very reasonable prices. We had the wudon shoyu and the Soba beef plus the gyoza. All 3 was amazing. So delicious and big portion. The waitress was so nice and welcoming. Had a great time for lunch Totally recommended

I went here on a very sunny day just to have a quick bite. I took the Bento box and it came with Salmon makis I also took a Japanese beer. I had a good little time sitting by the window and especially the vibe of the place is very cool. Please do note you have to bring cash or credit card (no debit card). The staff was friendly and my food got served very quickly.

Really good food! We had Katsudon and Ramen. Both were huge portions and tasted amazing.

An unassuming place with great flavours. The sushi here is so much better compared to some chains you can find in Brussels. The fish is fresh, so buttery soft it almost melts in your mouth. We had a menu (A3 and B3), which includes tuna steak, sushi, sashimi, soup, salad, rice and egg. They accidentally brought me three brochettes instead of the tuna steak, and immediately offered to fix it. I decided to keep the brochettes for variety instead. Everything was great (the meat brochettes a bit less though, I'll know that for next time). I love that they have menus where you can try a bit of everything for a reasonable price, with large portions. Service is kind, attentive, and fast.

Just best. I'm in love with that place where you can eat a full meal and more for just 15 euro. Food is ready amazingly fast, so tasty and good. Recommended to everyone

I might be biaised because this is one my favourite restaurants in Brussels. The food is great, the service is very fast. We always have a great time there, never had a bad meal. It's great because you can get sushi but also variety of warm Japanese food, so for those not liking raw fish, it's a great place to go. Our 2 year old loves it too 😀.

Cosy little restaurant in the heart of Brussels. The service seemed pretty hectic and we had to wait quite some time for our food. They did not manage to bring all the plates at the same time. The food was OK, I was expecting a bit more flavour from the ramen. The pieces of meat were a bit too big in my opinion. The decoration could also be nicer, it doesn't look as if a lot of effort was put into making the food look nice. Overall it is a nice little restaurant but nothing special.

Dined in with my friends on Christmas Day as they have good lunch deals. The waitress was welcoming but didn’t speak fluent English. She was helpful initially but when we were paying off the bill, it seems that she was trying to scam us. Not sure if it was a genuine accident, but we had to go back and forth with her to tell her she gave us the wrong change, and to ask for the correct amount.

Very nice food and service. 2 stars for that they dont accept debit cards to pay the bill. They accept cash or Credit cards. Also they dont give us the receipt, they give the table receipt and say that is the receipt they give of payment. At the end they forced us to pay with cash and go to ATM at Metro to take cash.

Plenty of options for a good price quality. Food is good and tasty. (Interaction with the waiters can be very cold but not disturbing)

This Japanese restaurant is run by Chinese workers and it's located just next to the Beurs van Brussel and very close to the famous Grand Place. I have been going there quite often for past 6 years since I really love their dishes (the obento/lunch meanu's). If you like to eat Japanese dishes on reasonable prices with good portion then I would recommend here. I don't really recommend their ra-men if you are really looking for the Japanese style because the style maybe similar but the taste and the noodles are different. For the rest, I can't never complain about the dishes they serve sinces it's delicious. However, I am probably going to stop going there from now on. The service wise has been ok but yesterday's attitude on their clients were very aggressive and cold. Of course, I won't say all the waitress was like that. One young lady was smiling and seems to ask how was their meals, etc. The normal serves you kind of expect from the waiter/waitress. On the other hand, the main waitress who served my table didn't said a thing nor smile and doesn't even bother bringing my dishes to my side and only on one side (perhaps she is tired? perhaps she had a bad day, but she shouldn't have acted out on her customers). It was same with other tables who had her as a waitress. It makes me kind of uncomfortable to get serve while you would automtically say "thank you" and don't get any reply on it. It was same with her co-worker with the glasses, she didn't say anything while there were certainly some kind of delay on serving our meals (there were three ladies: one with glasses, young girl who smiles and very short hair who was in the bad mood). Furthermore, they always served the meal on the same time but yesterday there was no coordinations at all, too many error's and delays. Perhaps they were tired (I have worked in restaurants for 7 years so I know how it is and maybe that is the reason why I am pretty critic when it comes to services since I often compare to myself). Anyways, the restaurant's reputation has been good when it comes to cooking show, menu's like bento box, etc on a budget and nice portion. So if you don't mind about having great service but less service as in friendliness (depending on which waitress you have) then you should just go a head and try it! **Notes** - This restaurant accepts Edenred and Sodexo cards (meal cards).

I frequent the restaurant when I crave Asian food. Came here with my lady, a sushi lover. My favorite is the Wudon Poulet. As usual the food was excellent. Tele screens displaying asian pop groups, music and decor let you taste a bit of asia in the middle of Brussels. Staff on the other hand is always a disappointment. Smile or customer is king experience is something you won't find here. Food is too good though to not come again

My partner received her order 20 minutes after me so I hate my ramen cold. Not to say that the ramen soup was actually the one you find in the supermarket (we saw the kitchen). The food doesn't taste good and the price is too high for it. One good point: water was ok

Alright so the exterior definitely needs an update it's not welcoming but the Food was decent nothing special, taste and price are promotional. BUT !!! and it's a big one, they don't take international cards nor local cards like visa or master card even though there's the stickers on the door

The food quality and price is great. And would’ve probably given it 5 stars had it not been for the service. Been there four times this year and all the interactions I had with the waitress were very cold and rude. Maybe, they aren’t like that towards French speakers but if you don’t speak French it is quite horrendous. One waiter even had AirPods in his ear while taking an order. Yikes 😬

Worth the price with a various selection. A lunch set cost around 12 euro until 18:00. I totally recommend!

Some of the better, non-“sushi only” Japanese food you can have in Europe with very competitive prices. Set meal with tempura, miso soup and rice at only 12-15€
