Waiter offered a free drink for us. Wide variety of foods of both Italian and Belgian cultures, for a very good price (I had the Belgian stew - delicious). Food was served fast and waiters were happy, joyful and friendly. Paying took some time but not worth mentioning. Update: I had to detain a star from my review due to the owner of the restaurant being extremely nervous and rather careless towards customers. The owner had some loud arguments with the restaurant opposite. Just sad - especially for the other staff that should deserve a five star rating.

The food was BAD. My fiancee had the lasagna with meat sauce except there was no meat in the sauce and it was sitting in a pool of soup or something. I've never seen lasagna served line that. Barely any flavor. I had the sea food paella...in the words of Julia Roberts that was a big mistake, Huge! They had chunks of lobster in there that had gone bad. And again, no flavor. Between that and the fact that they sat us at the table for thirty minutes and brought us food without proving silverware. I just have to advise people not to eat here. Also, the tables with the patten leather covers smell like sweaty socks. It is very faint but you get a hint of being in a gym room any time you bend your head toward the table. We would have left but my Fiancee needed food for medical reasons and I didn't want to risk waiting even longer at another location.

***plase Read it before take a seat*** Is that possible to rate this place with negative star? First of all the table was dirty when I took a seat. But I thought that could happen everywhere. But no. My thoughts were wrong and they proof it in a while I eas there. They are definitely horrible, my good lord! I took some picturesbto show you all the quality of this central rubbish. Their fries are frozen fries which is shame for Brussels in a while every corner is serving a fresh fries they bring to your table such a sad fries. Their mussels smell like it was cooked last week, the beers is like a free simple. If all the negative points were all. They also are very dirty, please have a look in all the pictures I'm posting. If you have a chance, pay attention to the container they keep the cloths to clean the table with a disgusting dirty water. This place must be closed because they are not able to deliver the bear minimal to be open. Absolutely disgusting and I wouldn't never suggest also come back.

We had dinner at this place last night. The food was the best we had in our stay in Belgium. That is enough to make us come back! But there is more. The owner is one sick lad. So open-hearted and warm-hearted! Lovely staff. The food "GAMAΘ" from the menu was the best. Σπάστα, γκρέμισετα.

Disappointing! I was seated alone, and received the menu. I was trying to get their attention for exactly 10 minutes to order, but none of them came to me. After saying “ Excuse me?” three times, I just left. They didn’t even notice that I was leaving. I saw two male staff taking orders at that time, and one of them was busy chatting with lady customers next table.

Cheap quality restaurant - dirty tables. A third of the mussels were not open (inedible), another third - with broken shells, the last were full with sand. Avoid at all cost

Nice restaurant but sure there is room for improvement. The staff was very polite and helpful but one of the worst things was the time you should wait to get your food, we waited for like 45-50 minutes. The restroom needs improvement as they are very old.

Everyone was very friendly from the owner to the waiters and the man outside. It is centrally located in the best part of Brussels. The pizza was delicious 😋. Thank you!

The experience is beyond 10/10, the food was great but what made it better was the service, the environment, the vibe and friendliness. Very friendly and helpful staff. They helped a lot to accommodate our tiny companion. Decent Italian food. We did not like their Lasagna, but the rest were fine. The only negative was the stinking bathroom. They need to fix it soon otherwise they lose their customers quickly.

Amazing service and food was superb… We were driving back from France to the Netherlands… our 24th Wedding Anniversary … We decided to stop by Brussels to eat and we found L’Altro Mondo. As close you can get for an authentic Italian pizza. Delicious. Pasta carbonara - huge portion. Good wine. Fish soup was ok. Lasagna...i do not recommend.

The food was great! Awesome place to get mussels and fries :) cute atmosphere but the service was quite slow so don't go if you're in a rush.

After a local recommended the place, we decided to feast here, and we had the best time. It was so good, we actually chose to go back a second night. If we come back to Brussels, we’ll be back.

The food is good, but there are not much staff. The manager is a bit grumpy so that he nags his staff. The ordering and the check out takes a bit longer because short of staff. By the way the three restaurant next to each other are the same restaurant.

Friendly atmosphere. We went to have an easy fixed menu of mussels, fries, and a beer for 14 euro. Received a small juice size glass of beer, a bucket of mussels that appeared and tasted as if they had been prepared MANY hours (days?) earlier. The mussels were soft and ‘dry’ with very little consistency or flavor. At least 1/4 of the shells were empty. Two stars for OK fries.

A delicious dinner and delightful service. If you walk down this street and see the various options, this one won't disappoint. We had the Diavola pizza, garlic bread, and a Caesar salad and every bite was scrumptious. Before paying we were offered a lemonchelo shot and left full and the price wasn't too bad either. Highly recommend L'Altro Mondo.

Nice, cozy place in the very centre of the city. We ordered paella(s) (one with seafood and one with chicken) and they were really good and generous portions. The service is really nice and friendly and the atmosphere relaxing and pleasant. Good price-quality ratio.

I had a €12 mussels special. It was the most basic mussels dish, without any extras, and the beer was tiny (served in a champagne glass). However, it is probably the cheapest place to have classic mussels in Brussels.

This is the best Italian restaurant I’ve ever been to. The owner is very funny and culturally educated. Most importantly, the pasta was very fresh and really good. The interior was very beautiful with the red. Highly recommended

It must be regarded a must for anyone looking for exceptional taste in all of the selections available at this establishment. The environment is cozy, and everyone is friendly and eager to help you. The portions are big, but I tell you that you will not leave anything behind. We are delighted we chose this location; it will now be our go-to option for lunch in the city center.
