Awful experience. Despite the high price which was not worth it at all , the waffle was not freshly baked! Didn’t enjoy their topping as well! The latte made from their machine! I did not taste a pure coffee! The place was not clean enough there were some small flies around my table!

Just „no“! Waffle filling was not existant. You really could eat air instead of that waffle, sorry. It’s admirable how it’s even possible to use that less dough to make the waffles. Prices are way toooooo expensive for what you get, because you get like nothing for your money. If you want to eat good and „cheap“ waffles… just go like 200m to „eight & three“. You can thank me later.

Since 1970, one of the good waffles in the heart of Brussels. The staff were so friendly and professional (apart the one who was in charge of the main floor and checking on guests using the toilets). We decided to sit outside, the staff approached each single of us and welcomed us.

We had our brunch here on a sunny morning. Absolutely delicious waffles which you can customise as per your choice. I had the classic whipped cream, banana slice and hot chocolate on waffle. The fries are hot and salty - delicious. Sit outside as you can experience the cool ambience outside the restaurant. The service is top notch. They had already put a new fork on the table by the time I picked up my fork I dropped on the floor.

Just loved it! It was the first time that I've eaten a tradicional Belgium waffle. Delicious 👌🤤 I chose one with only nutella and the texture, the flavor and even the smell was divine. 10/10 to come again. A little bit expensive but it's worth it. Friendly staff, quick service and very nice place.

Food is very nice here. The staff is very friendly and service is good. Usually it is a very busy place in Brüssels. Lot of tourists visit here. The ambience is very nice. You get a fresh waffels here. There are lot of add ons depends upon you and you can select the price . The prices are ok ok. I had hot waffel with chocolate ice-cream it was nice .

Gaufre de Bruxelles is a great spot for a quick bite. We tried two types of waffles with butter and maple syrup, which were pretty good. The staff was friendly and accommodating, making it a welcoming place to enjoy some waffles with our son.

One love! I normally don’t eat waffles, but in here they are mouthwatering, and I had couple of them. Even came back the following day. The place is popular, you can buy them either from a street or fancy them inside the restaurant. The waiters are cheerful and quick. Try them, they are the best!

Awesome waffles place and highly recommend if you go to Brussels. It’s usually packed throughout the day, so better plan it ahead. The waffles are soft inside but crispy outside. The English breakfast is also good. Will go again definitely.

I did not like the food at this place at all. I think because it is central and has plenty of seating, it might be good to spend money to sit there and people watch but not if you want to eat and enjoy your food. The meatballs were soggy. Eggo waffles tastes better than this. Fries were soggy because the meatballs were soggy. What a mess!

I was just witnessed a bad experience in this shop, from the Mr. Tall light hair waiter working today 15/6 Wednesday at 15:00 in the outdoor chairs, dropping the bag of a brown LGBT person and let them know that they don’t belong there. Actions need to be taken from the management, it is not fair for the good people working there and for this business, the waiter Mr. Short brown hair waiter spoke up and jump in to help 🇧🇪. If I am contacted I will provide more details like the recipe and more. For management cctv will clarify more.

I love this place. Waffle tastes delicious. A lot of options, better than average prices and, surprisingly, a good service. I will come back!

The atmosphere is fresh. Though the food is tasty, I feel that the quantity is very less for the same price across other places in Brussels. Ordered a pancake and omelette. Dont go on the picture that is shown on menu, cz the quantity shown is too much as compared to what is served. The picture i put for pancake is of half though, and if you want something with pancake then u‘ll have to order separately so i feel the quantity is less. Ask before ordering.

I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. They have a wide variety of sandwiches and salads and the taste is superb. We were on our way to another restaurant and decided to eat here instead because it is reasonably priced and has large portions. I was ready for some crepes and coffee but got the Curry Chicken Sandwich first. It was the first time I had ever seen such a thing but was glad I made the leap to try it. The crepes were thick and on point. The coffee was fantastic and we took a nice walk around and got some souvenirs. It’s in a great location and the outdoor seating was great. The service was amazing and better than anything we had before. Kudos and keep up the good work!

Horrible. We took a chocolate which actually was a supermarket prepared drink, and we waited 30 minutes for a couple of waffles which never arrived at our table. Seriously???

Do not expect to much from belgian waffle as the taste is just average. I even think that the waffle made in Indonesia is better than here. The only good thing from the waffle I ordered was the whipped cream. Hot chocolate was decent. Staff is quite friendly. Verdict: Overpriced, decent taste.

Waffle: 5 stars. Really delicious. Light and crispy. Got the dark chocolate sauce, strawberries, and stracciatella ice cream. Service: 3 stars. Waiters weren’t accommodating and took a while to attend to me. Cost: 2 stars. Really expensive. Spent about €13 just for the waffle.

Loved the waffles, but it’s too hectic. The tables upstairs are too near to each other. Had to eat fast because there’s a lot of people; dog friendly place. Not a place to eat if you want to eat in peace 😅

We loved this place, so much so we had them two days in a row! I loved my mozzarella, tomato panini! Along with the strawberry ice cream waffle!! My daughter had ice cream, chocolate waffle.

This place is popular. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. It has plenty of sitting upstairs, which is rare in Belgium restaurants. We had brunch here with the following items, . cherry beer. Very good. Wife said it tasted like tart cherry juice, I found it cool and refreshing, perfect for brunch time. . coffee latte. very weak and watery. . liege waffle with sauce and strawberry from the classic menu. Very good. price is fair. . Flemish meatball in tomato sauce. Taste good. But 4 meatballs and fries for 19.90 euro is over-priced. . Croque Madame. Not good. toasts were dry and hard, cold. Overall, this can be a 4 star place with fair price if you order from the classic waffle menu and the breakfast items. The English breakfast on nearby table looked very good. But the lunch and dinner items are overpriced.

My family and I have eaten here twice, and we love it. There is outside shaded seating, and the prices are very cheap, which is surprising, given the excellent quality of the food. If you have the time, I recommend sitting inside, as they have incredible service. There is a small markup on the food if you sit inside, but if you ask, you can be seated on the second floor, which sports an incredible view. The menu is in English, French, Dutch, Spanish, and German, which is important to note if you are a tourist.

The waffles were cold and tasteless. There was also a mistake in the order - we had ordered a waffle with strawberries and whipped cream, but received only a waffle with whipped cream. The service responded unfriendly when we pointed this out, but later offered a half-hearted apology with a weak joke. The restaurant wasn't very clean; the benches were broken, and the toilet was dirty. Additionally, having a urinal right next to the toilet door seemed unhygienic to me. The coffee was mediocre.

Loved this place. The Belgium waffles were amazing. We also got burrata which was very good. And lastly we ordered fries with salad which was probably one of the best i have had.

We were a family of four and went to try the Brussels waffle with dark and white hot chocolate toppings. The portion was big enough for two to three person if you’re on a budget. The picture says it all. The white chocolate toppings was okay. It was too sweet for us compared to the hot chocolate toppings which we really loved.

We arrived quite early in the morning so the restaurant was quiet and peaceful. The service was excellent with an attentive & helpful staff. This is an excellent establishment to try a waffle & start your trip to Belgium and to finally get an ice coffee.

Took about 15 minutes to acknowledge us despite it being quiet and 4 servers standing around. Then when we went to order, they wouldn't let us share 1 waffle, as they said we have to order 1 item per person. We had already eaten dinner and just wanted to sit and enjoy a waffle together as we weren't hungry enough for one each, and didn't want any drinks. Great way to lose business. Especially when 3/4 of the outdoor seating is empty

The most disgusting breakfast of my life. The chef must be in a bad mood..bacon it burnt the sausage and egg vew greasy.

Ordered Belgium meatballs and waffle for dessert. Meatballs are tender and not as salty as the typical Italian version. Waffle is really light and crispy which is to my liking.

A great place for eating waffles near the city center! Not too far from the train station, kinda packed but it is always easy to find a place to sit here. Tasty food, both dessert and lunch options were nice and warm. We liked Flemish meatballs. Drinks are kinda overpriced, as always in popular places. The staff is friendly, waiters speak multiple languages. Every time we go to Brussels we go here to enjoy waffles :) Photos we’re taken months apart but the order stayed the same haha

The waffels were great but I have met a lot friendlier waitress before. Fortunately the waiter made attitude compensation with his kindness. But the waffels were really superb.

WORST SERVICE EVER!!!! The food is so bad! The waiter is not professional at all especially one who’s managing outside . they refused to sit me on the terrace knowing that I ordered at the checkout. where is the logic? « the prices are not the same on the terrace... » is it legal? I then ask to pay the price difference knowing that I just wanted to sit down, eat in 5 minutes and leave. but the waiter refuse once again.. is this discrimination? since I am of foreign origin? to flee! A fuir! c’est honteux!

I would like to express my thanks to the staff, who were incredibly kind and attentive. I must say that the waffle I taste here ranks among the finest in Brussels. Nice waffle place, crazy crowded. Service personnel often brings the wrong order but it's not their fault, it's just too many people in a tiny place. My Brussels waffle with vanilla ice cream was good, really crispy, a bit too much for my personal taste. Recommend. 👌🏻

Nice place with a welcoming staff and rather good gaufres of Brussels for a fair price. The two main flaws are the occasional annoying flies (I visited during summer) and the crowded toilets (during the pandemic, the first floor is closed so there is only one available toilet). Also, the toilet was not so neat and there was no more toilet paper (rather uncomfortable to use my own emergency tissues). Despite these flaws, I recommand the place for hungry tourists.

Easily the worst waffle I have ever eaten. It is like eating paper - and the appallingly high price is just not justified (we paid 24 euros). We even asked if these were freshly made and they said yes - but i refuse to believe these were even remotely fresh. Supermarket waffles taste ten times better than this. Very very disappointing experience. This place just seems to be ripping off tourists like myself. Also, they insist you sit at the table and do not disclose that they charge extra for it, as compared to takeaway. Please do not go.

Rating a 3 because the staff was friendly and efficient. The food though is a 2 at best. We shared a panini that had 1 slice of deli ham with the cheese and tomatoes; the bread was dry like a cracker. Shared the waffle in the pic, where looks are deceiving, not what I expected for my first waffle in Belgium. It was cold with no flavor. It was crispy and airy like our waiter said, but highly disappointed. We didn’t even finish it. Find another place to eat- not worth the money.

Terrible service! Waited for the lady to take our order but she opted to clean tables, talk to colleagues and take menus to empty tables. Dressed in black indicating that she was the one to take orders. When she passed by me with a tray I asked if we could place our order. Did not reply and instead went in the corridor and smashed down the tray at the shooter aft. Very loudly and with a lot of anger. Of course we left immediately, went opposite the square to Haagen Dazs and enjoyed our waffles and ice cream.

The customer service in this restaurant is awful. I ordered a salami sandwich and I found a small candle holder inside it ( can you imagine how the chef takes care and pay attention to the order while preparing it so he put a candle holder without noticing) but mistakes can happen!! then when I told the waiter what I found in it , he didn't even say sorry just took the sandwich and never came back for more than 20 minutes and when I paid I explained to another waitress what happened as well and I told her I won't pay for the sandwich , she said ok and not apologies like the other colleague. Honeslty the worst customer service as I ever seen and the staff weren't polite and friendly , I even needed to shout couple of times so they came to take my order or for me to complain about the sandwich. I wish I can give this staff 0 star not even 1 and they don't deserve to work there. And beside that I do not reccomand the food there as inside the salami sandwich were only salad and salami no sauce at all.
