👍 Da es ziemlich zentral liegt, ist es dementsprechend touristisch. Ich hatte ein typisch belgisches Schmor Kaninchen in Biersoße. Die Kolleg:innen Fish & Chips. War soweit alles ok. Only positive is that the lunch menu is dead cheap at 14,90€. However even that seems quite expensive for what we recieved. Was constantly checking for cameras or a guy to jump out and shout: " It''s a Prank!!!"

The location is nice, but the soup with shrimps was ridiculous. 11€ for a small bowl with just 1 shrimp in it. I complained to the waiter but no sorry or compensation or anything. Cannot recommend going there. Tourist scam

+ the location and the terraces - smallest mussels ever - many recipes but no flavors at the end i.e wrong cooking - french fries undercooked (we asked to change, we got the same.. 15mins later) - sauces : first price plastic portions - service : low Conclusion : tourist trap

Food is delicious with reasonable price. But please remember to actively ask the waitress to repeat what you have ordered. If otherwise, you may probably get your food after your friend finishes hers. Also, the waitress, with poor English listening skill who does not confirm order details with customers, will attribute the mistake to your “not so good” English. Quality of food will definitely bring in a lot of customers and make the restaurant busy, but it does not justify how poor the service is provided.

I booked at around 13:30 it was a sunday. Not too busy. The waiter was so nice, friendly and gave alot of insights about their food. I ordered the menuset for 23€ with 3 courses. Entree wss fried calamari and wooooah. not 5 minutes, food is served! Then got may mussels and fries and it was Massive! I thought i'll get the tiny one or atleast half the size of the regular just like the other restos but nooooo. The caserole is huge! Then capped off with Belgian chocolate mousse. Will go back here deff. Food is awesome!

Lovely spot for lunch. We had the lunch special including an appetizer, main and coffee. The food was very good. We had the soup, shrimp and mussels. Price was very reasonable. Nice area to sit outside.

If you fancy dry fish and chips that's the place, salmon was overcooked and chips seem like cooked ages ago and then just heated. Crockets was raw inside and runny🤢 And stew is just a mess, really chewy and tasteless. We ordered also a bottle of Cava which on the menu says €35 and been charged €44. Waiters look like people who just passing by, no uniform or anything to figure out that they work there. Service was awful too, never in my life waited longer for a bill.

Positive experience. Intitially it took a while to pickup the order but after that all went smoothly. Very nice selection of beers, it actually is almost half of the menu. The selection of mussels is even more impressive. As appetizers we ordered fried calamari and cheese croquettes. Both were nice. For main dishes we had two kinds of mussels, beef stew and chicken stew. Total bill for two appetizers, four main dishes with four beers was around 140 euro.

Delicious mussels, first place I saw to eat and decided to try it. The outside area is lovely and very warm so you can enjoy the atmosphere outside. Excellent choice of beers and freindly staff. Couldn't ask for more. Thank you

Brussels is famous for Mussels. And if you really want to have a holistic experience of having mussels, then this is certainly the place. The fast and efficient waiters will guide you through the menu as the wide variety of options to have mussels will delight your soul for sure. The best part is that they also have a kid's portion of mussels with fries. Normally, my 9 year old son can not take an entire bowl in other places. But this time around, he could. Set by the marvellous square of St Catherine, this place is absolutely wonderful

The best mules I ever had! The food was amazing, large potions and decent prices compared to the size of the dish. Deb is absolutely amazing! All the people are genuinely friendly and helpful. We had an amazing experience here and it made really enjoy our stay in Bruxelles. Thank you!

We went there for a late lunch, since we just arrived Brussels. Around 3pm. Service was good and quick. We ordered their plates of the day. 3 course meal that you may choose from many options at Euro23 per person. My husband and tried shrimp soup, fried squid, mussels in wine sauce, grilled fish, chocolate mousse and Belgium waffle. Very fresh seafood and salad. Taste is excellent. Not too salty. Location is great. Right beside Saint Catherine church. Reasonable price, very fresh seafood. Will definitely return.

Mafia who threatens to damage your car if you park in front of their restaurant. However the road is public Space. It doesn't surprise me this place has a terrible rating based on google reviews .

Had a couple of visits with my son over the weekend. Both times I opted for carpacio de boeuf as starter... Very nice I had mussels once which were good and the bass fillet on the second occasion. Very good also Service is friendly and efficient With nice weather it was a nice place to be outside. The price was also very good when opting for the menu on the board posted outside. €14.90 for two courses plus a coffee. Lunch time.

Was recommended to go for authenticity of mussels dishes served in the city by the walking tour guide. Tried one of the restaurants at the area recommended by the guide. Tried Mussel Mongers and the food generally is ok.

핸쿡인듈은 이거슬 뽂꼭 졸때 오줴마슈ㅕ요!!! I want to put actually zero star on this poor restaurant. We ordered rib and mussel but both was total mess. I don’t know how the other customers endured this food without complaining. The rib was cold from the first time it served. And the mussels was horrible. Half of them were not opened, and half were opened but almost tore out not in the whole shape. So that we had to put almost 70% of the mussels in the trash plate. We barely eat nothing. And the way the staff reply is also very rude even on the comment also they are being sarcastic. Even though we told them, they said it’s normal and just said it‘s not the season without saying any sorry. If it’s not the season they should’ve told to the customer before the order in case. They just said it’s not their fault. I regret myself came here 🤦‍♀️ + 내가 리뷰 안쓰는데 여기는 ㅈ같아서 썼다 답변 꼬라지보소 ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ 빨리 망하길^^

Been wanting to try this place for years. Probably the best mussels I have ever had. Staff was awesome and the chocolate mousse was as good as the mussels. A must stop if your visiting Brussels!

I came here because it claimed to have the best mussels in Brussels. Maybe it did, I haven’t had much experience with mussels. But the service and fries are probably some of the worst in Brussels. When I approached the restaurant to look at the lunch special, I was immediately hounded. Give me time to read and decide if I even want to eat here. When I sat down, I wasn’t given nearly enough time to look up in the menu what each item in the lunch special was before I had to order. I got the fried mussels and the white wine mussels. Both were decent but were also served to me at the speed of a snail. If only they were as eager to serve the food as they were to make the sale. The fries were not cooked all the way through and the insides had the texture of raw potato. I also had to ask the server three times to take the fries away before he actually did. Near the end of my meal, there was a wasp that kept flying around me. The server said that the mussels attract wasps and laughed at me because I was visibly scared of being stung. Staff acted unprofessionally (they were constantly talking to each other and joking around right by the customers), and the restaurants’ responses to negative reviews is concerning.

The food was very disappointing. After waiting for about 30 minutes we got our nachos and drinks. The nachos were just boring nachochips, without any cheese or other toppings, with some very basic dips. The spare ribs where overcooked and very dry. After mentioning our disappointment to the waiter he acted like this was a normal thing to hear from customers. Paid only for the nachos and beers without any complaints from the waiter which is worth the 1-star for at least handling it quickly.

+ The staf were friendly and helpful (quick service and can communicate in English) + location great + lots of mussels recipes + Tasty food (fries not undercooked, the mussels were well seasoned, the salmon (fish and chips) were not overcooked) - a bit pricy

I have had cardboard with better texture and flavour then their waffles, better option would be to walk a few blocks further to the red light district to have tastier waffles. Nice beer tho.

I went there because I saw in Google Maps “the best mussels” oh my god. I went for the daily menu, what a wrong decision. Shrimp soup to heat up in a cold day, the soup is a powder made soup too salty. As main course I choose the mussels, UN-TASTY plate, I had to put half of the black pepper shaker and half of the salt shaker. For desert I ask for the Belgium Chocolate mousse, no comments…half whipped cream and a bit of something looking like a chocolate mousse. The beer was fantastic…and the fries.

A very pleasant relaxed atmosphere with a wide selection of mussels. Friendly and welcoming staff. I had mussels in garlic with scallops which was delicious, recommended

Don’t order the waffle, It’s super hard without much taste. A waffle from Aldi would even be ten times better. It tastes exactly like cardboard. If you want to taste a good Belgian waffle don’t go here.

Just happened to come across this bistro walking past. We decided to have lunch there because it reminded us of a Parisian cafe. We ordered the fixed lunch — the beef stew, pommes frites, and chocolate mousse and waffle for dessert. The beef stew was a little tough and a little sweet but delicious nonetheless. The frites were fantastic as was the garlic bread. The desserts — especially waffle — were utterly fantastic! The only issue I had was with the service which bordered on comically rude. One waitress was particularly rude. At one point, as we were halfway finished with our stew, I looked over and saw our order of frites sitting on a service counter about six feet away. So, we waited and then finally asked the waitress if they were ours. She answered, “Yes. Oh, you want them?” No, we’ll just look at them from the table. 🤨🤨🤨

Brilliant atmospheric stop after hiring bikes up the road. Great service from the very pleasant mannered staff. Wonderful to be served "proper large beers" at an excellent price. We didn't eat here as had already eaten but the food looked amazing too.

We ate there with a group of four and it was throughout mediocre. Two had the daily menu with a small starter, average main course and pretty bad chocolate cream as desert. The others had a good but not special fish and a portion of mussels. With the restaurant having mussel in their name and a single dish costing 30€ you would expect something good. They were ok, a little boring, and therefore certainly not worth buying. I would recommend going somewhere else.

I really liked the restaurant. It's nothing fancy, but the price is also decent. Pleasant place, a bit farther from the center. My nice experience was in a big part dependent from the waiter (Walid if I am not mistaken). A very friendly and dedicated man who took care of us on my boyfriend's birthday - helping to make it special. Thank you :)
