Wow! The food, the vibe, the service all was incredible. It’s relatively small, but cozy and the service was so friendly and attentive. (The lady owner or manager really made us feel welcome and made our night, so thank you!) The quality and flavors of the dishes were really fantastic! The natural wines weren’t to my taste, but there’s other options for drinks. Can’t wait to go back!

Friendly staff with an usual Korean food quality offered. As I have been to so many Korean restaurants in Europe to have customer dinners, unfortunately I have to say that quality was rather disappointing from a Korean's point of view. I also host 7 courses menu for a big group of customers at other Korean restaurants. When I asked for it, the owner said 225€ per person. I am not sure if I heard it right. Even Michelin restaurants don't cost 225€ per person.

I was disappointed to be honest. I have to agree with most reviews that mention the value for money ratio. There is an imbalance between the price you pay and the portions/flavour experience. Culinary standards in Belgium are high. So if you pay €12 for 3 dumplings you expect to be blown away by a flavour explosion. Same goes for the fried chicken and ice cream. Flavours are decent, but not mind boggling.

Went for a Sunday Korean lunch experience with my wife. One thing to is sure, quality of ingredients is not in question, all that is on the menu was fresh to the taste and of high quality. We spent 95 € for 2 people (1 suggestion of the day as appetizer to share, 2 x main dishes, 1 x beer. 1 x cola, a coffee and a 1 x dessert. General experience is you very good. Warm atmosphere and quality staff and service. The owner have the impression to be very professional and open to share the vision behind her model with her Perl of wisdom being "Do not be afraid to do things different" This is evident in the dishes served in this restaurant which do not try to sell you smoke but focus on the fire meaning the core dinning experience of engaging core senses, smell, taste and good presentation. The food was tasty no need to be specific on a particular one. I recommend to at least experience this dinning experience at least once and there likely will be a twice. You pay for quality, here quality is not sacrificed not compromised and you are garanties that as a minimum. See you again some other time.

Friendly relaxed atmosphere, very tasty food and friendly and prompt service. We were there on a weekday. Some review claimed the deep fried chicken wasn't crispy, but we found it excellent and crisp. Also had bibimbap which i can recommend. Appetizers were tasty. Great time, highly recommend! Prices are not low but reasonable. We ate a lot.

I came for the first time with a couple of friends. The staff is really kind. I received a dirty dish and they changed immediately. Good for that! We asked for fried chicken, meat of the day and the other dish I don't remember the name. It was just delicious!! Great restaurant. Definitely we'll come back

The kindest staff and the yummiest lunch! My mom ordered some Japchae and the fried chicken, I had some cold buckwheat noodles with shrimp tempura. Banchan were all good too. So yummy, I would come back here again for sure.

Finally had the chance to try this place. And I’m so happy I did !! The food was as expected, delicious and unique! The staff were friendly and I can’t wait to come here again. Tried the Korean pancake (yum), dumplings, sashimi, spicy squid; and fried chicken. If you are craving some friend chicken then this place is the PLACE to try !

Great small modern Korean restaurant. Wanted to come here for about a year and finally made it tonight.. The concept of sharing tables (with other people) is nice, but unfortunately, at some point, it gets too noisy and hard to hear the person on the other side of the table. The food was nice but nothing special and not even authentic Korean (imho).. Nice experience in general with tasty food but not what I've expected. Anyway, I recommend the place.

Seems like a cozy neighbourhood place with a small good menu, but overpriced for what it is. What marked us the most was the fact that both times we went there the owner was bossing around the staff (who were great kids!) loudly as she was sitting at one of the tables next to the customers which seems odd.

I loved Maru, the place was cosy, simple but well decorated. The owner was lovely (she came at the table to prepare the chef’s fried daily fish for my partner) and it was thoughtful. I absolutely adored the deep fried chicken, and you will find typical Korean dishes/korean beer! However why I can’t put 5 stars is: - Main courses overpriced (expect 100 bucks for 1 shared entry, 2 plates, 4 drinks) - The seafood pancake did not taste or seem to contain any seafood (there was literally one single shrimp in it for 16€) - The house drink wasn’t impressive, didn’t really taste the Yuzu as I hoped for. I will come back and hope to put five stars then!

Delicious Wednesday evening at the best Korean restaurant in Brussels. My succulent grilled pork had crispy fat in all the right places. Steer your veggie lovers towards the crunchy bibimbap . Let the server mix it at your table. They are wise and know exactly what they are doing. 😄 Indulge in the sweet pancake paired in carnal pleasure with rich coffee ice cream. For weekend dining, reserve a couple weeks ahead. 🏃€80 including house cocktails.

Great food, the service is ok but we were disappointed they only explained how to eat some of the dishes when we were leaving. The Korean pork was worth the steapish price of 35€. The Korean pancake starter was delicious. And I also liked the Macha based home-made ice tea!

Food was really nice, but not only that, it was very cozy and modern at the same time, and their service, and even the plates were all beautiful and impressive. Definitely will visit again!

Trendy setting, authentic korean recipe & fair prices. Service is polite & efficient. We really enjoyed our diner & experience. I’ll be back. + I was allowed to take my dog. Points of improvement: they’re difficult to reach by phone.

Food is my life! 💚 what an experience in Brussels! I highly recommend this Korean restaurant! Full of tasty dishes, passion in the food, very fresh, high quality ingredients and very well seasoned. Started with the home handmade dumplings and the 50gram wagyu-beef, main course - sweet and sour shrimps with octopus, marinated beef, kimchi, korean fried noodles, some fermented side dishes. We ended with the korean sweet pancake filled with cinnamon. All made with love 💗

Absolutely amazing food. Upon recommendation of the waiter, I took the vegetarian dish cooked in a stone bowl, bimbim (?), and it was de-li-cious!!! It looked super beautiful when it arrived to the table, with all the different colours and a beautiful egg-yolk topped with sesame seads, but then it is stirred to thoroughly mix the flavours and it looks less attractive, but oh my are those flavours busting! 😀 The staff are attentive and friendly. Would def come back!

My favourite restaurant in Brussels! The food is incredible and full of flavours. Plus the service is flawless and the owner is the sweetest lady. The decor was made by Lhoas & Lhoas, a great architectural firm, who did an incredible job and managed to create both a cosy and electric ambiance.
