I really enjoyed my food here, we had pasta bolognesa, gaufres mikado and some Tangerlo beer with pretty great views! The staff was also friendly. Would definitely come back.

Great little place to get a good bite while in the city center. Had a train transfer in Brussels and decided to visit while stopped over. So glad I chose to come here. Great location to also be near sweet shops and souvenir locations. Service was very attentive and they had great recommendations for native Belgium food and beer.

Scam! This place preys on tourists. We were told when we sat down that they prefer to be paid in cash and when the bill came they told us the credit card machines were down in it had to be cash only. I did not have that many euros on me and once I explained that magically the machines were working again and a different server brought us our bill.

I was surprised when I saw the ratings of this place. It's located in the center of the palace. The view was stunning. Tried mulled wine. It was served in a big glass and was tasty. Would visit again for sure.

Cozy, but underwhelming. Kind of pressured into the special. Not allowed entry into other establishments in the Grand Place due to lack of EU pass.

The place is located right in Grand Place, so it's the perfect spot to have your meal and enjoy the view. We were seated outside, it was nice. The service was fast. we ordered mussels, a burger, and cherry beer. Loved the mussels, the portion is huge! The burger was very tasty, with a lot of meat 😋 and the beer was amazing, tried cherry beer for the first time, and absolutely loved it. It is overpriced a little bit, but you have your lunch right in the heart of the city 😉

Le Paon (The Peacock) fronts Grande Place, so its real estate is Brussels-equivalent to what elsewhere would be popularly thought of as "beachfront" property. Without doubt, its oceanic view out of the second floor windows onto a nightlit, Christmas-Winter themed Grand Place is majestic and vast. I really liked the inside architecture with lots of brick and wood. The food is okay. If you love fries and meat or mussels, you might love the fare. I was craving vegetables so am not the best judge.

I really wanted to like this restaurant but I'm a bit disappointed. This place is perfectly placed and has a real unique feeling. We arrived with a bigger group during dinner time. We had book in advance an ordered menus. The dishes were boringly tasteless and the service slow. They've got a friendly staff but some of them were painfully unexperienced. The prices seemed acceptable and the beer was cold. ;)

Nice place with awesome view. The food is quite good but not something special. It's better to visit it by night to enjoy the beautiful view of the square.

The only reason we went inside because most of the restaurants weren’t open until 6pm. And we wanted to sit down somewhere to watch the Grand Place sound&light show. So the restaurant has amazing location, unfortunately the service not the best, and quite rude staff. The food was decent, good portion, but quite bland. Didn’t come with high expectations so wasn’t disappointed, but good place to warm yourself up before the show.

The primary downside is the price, paid €42.5 for 6 drinks and a dessert, however this is understandable because of the location.

Be careful when you order Thongerlor Lux beer for 500cll. They changed me 13€ Expensive enough but I have to pay and he asked me to pay by cash, Say no word!!! My experience in Brussels so far

Die Pizza Diavolo war mit hoher Wahrscheinlichkeit eine Tiefkühlpizza, auf die noch etwas Chiliöl geträufelt wurde. Geschmacklich war es günstige Tiefkühlware, die für 16,50€ verkauft wird. Dazu waren die Toiletten nicht sauber, rochen stark nach Urin und Toilettenpapier war nicht vorhanden. Der absolut schlechteste Restaurantbeduxh den ich jemals hatte.

Das Essen war gut aber teuer, klar beste Lage direkt am Grote Markt, sehr touristisch. Achtung die Getränkepreise auf der Karte gelten für die kleinen Gläser!

I took a Tangerlo (the best beer in the world), unfortunately it wasn’t the one they gave to us, we had to pay 7€ for a beer who wasn’t that special, it kind of tasted like a jupiler

Most rude waiter ever!!!!! Yelled at me because I didn't want to drink (I ordered 50€ of food) Very expensive and not good at all! Run from here!

The food was excellent, the staff were kind and multi-lingual, and the prices are fair for a tourist centre. Overall, it was a great meal. I would highly recommend getting the Brussels Trip as the four dishes are extremely well done.

Popped in for a quick lunch, was definitely quick as the waiters seemed to wanted to get you in and out as quickly as possible, our waiter was rude and un friendly, the food was expensive which was expected as we had a few of the grand place, it cost €45 or £40 for two beers, plain pasta and a plain pizza, I would’ve been happy if the food was nice quality, neither I nor my girlfriend could finish our meals. The only reason I gave a two stars was due to the view, and the building - neither of these factors the establishment could control. Maybe nice for an beer but overpriced nun the less.

We had a beer here. The beer was ok, but we were very disappointed to see that the group of women at the table next to ours were badly treated. They were the only people of colour at the restaurant and they were the only ones who were asked to pay directly instead of after eating and/or drinking. When they talked about this with the staff, the waiter could not answer why this happend. I would recommend not to go there in order to not support discriminatory behaviour.

Great place for a tasty beer and mussels near Grand Place

They advertise that they take credit card and do not accept credit card. On their menu it says “credit card payment available if bill is over 25 euro.” When we tried to pay the waiter forced us to pull money out from an ATM near by. This is absolutely false advertising. Very upsetting because It was my last night in Europe and pulling money out of the ATM has me incur a fee.

Rude arrogant waiter. Couldnt look at us while we ordered. Always talking with someone else or looking somewhere else. Then we asked for the check, he was angry and asked for a tip in Spanish. I don't speak spanish I couldn't understand him so I just said thanks and left.

The Irish Coffee was expensive and not good (I even wondered if it was made with whiskey). I didn’t try the food. The view on the square, of course, is great.

Great location right at the Grand Place in the old town center. The chicken with mushrooms sauce was delicious. We were a party of five and the bill was very reasonable. I wish they had a larger assortment of Belgian beers though
