I have tried the traditional Cheesesteak and the Buffalo Chicken sandwiches here. Both were very flavourful and authentic. I also had their fries and fry sauce which were very tasty. The portion sizes were very generous, I will definitely be coming back. The owner Leo and everyone else there was very friendly, and added a positive vibe to the restaurant. I'm glad to see this new restaurant as there currently isn't really anything similar, and 509 Philly Stop adds diversity to the food culture here.

I had my daughter’s & my meals delivered. Arrived quickly by Doordash. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger & a fries, along with Shanghai lumpia to share. The food was ok. The burger was the size of a small McDonalds cheeseburger- ok because I seriously can’t eat a lot. The fries are good & in massive amounts. Which was perfect for my daughter because that’s one of her favorite things to snack on. Can’t go wrong there. I asked for no salt- I cannot have iodine. They made them without salt which is rare anywhere else. The lumpias were just ok- mostly a mess when I tried to eat them. Mostly- they are just a crispy outside & nothing much inside as far as ingredients. Loved the dipping sauce however. I’ll have to go in next time & give it another try. Wish there was more vegan options on the menu for my daughter.

As a Philadelphian for 21 years of my life, this was an amazing stop. Very authentic food, eagles (and sadly Seahawks) decorations on the walls, amazing owner. Highly recommend.

Here is one of those places that you learn about because someone tells you. Yes, it's that good! My first outing was passing through and I got the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich with american cheese, onion and green pepper. I was extremely happy with this and the combination bread roll they used made it a "I will be back for another". I have since been back for the other and added fries... it was just as good. The atmosphere created is both friendly and comfortable. Is it fancy, 'no'; but is it friendly and comfortable, 'Oh Yes'. I talked with the owner and they employ many of the high school kids giving them some real world experience. So if you want that small town good eating place that you've only heard about... now is your opportunity!

Went here with my folks, my mom got the Mushroom Philly Cheese Steak which was really good, I got the Italian Pulled Pork with Serrano Peppers which was nice and pleasantly spicy and my dad and I got the club salad to go. Everything tasted great there (especially the cheese fries!) The issue I have is that when I took some leftovers home and reheated the other half of my pulled pork, I got a pretty bad stomach ache, don't know if it had something to do with the meat or the bun... I suggest eating as much as you can at the restaurant and if you do have leftovers to double check them and cook them very thoroughly.

I didn't expect to get lumpia when my husband and I stopped for cheese steaks, and I DEFINITELY didn't expect that when we made an unplanned stop in Kittias I'd have one of the best lumpia I've ever eaten. THEY'VE GOT PEPPERS IN THEM, Y'ALL!!! Why did I never think to do that! Definitely with the stop. We'll be coming again when we're driving through the area.

Only half a mile off the freeway and definitely worth the stop. I got the Philly with mushrooms, onions, and peppers and made it a meal with fries and a drink. I thought it was a bit spendy until I got my order. The sandwich was HUGE and STUFFED with steak and toppings. It comes on a roll they fly in twice a week and it is perfect. The roll is substantial enough to hold their generous filling but you don't feel like you are just eating a big thing of bread. The fries were a mistake. Actually, they were excellent fries but I had SO much food!! We took it to go and ate at the tiny park across the street. It was a perfect lunch. It doesn't seem you can go wrong here and we will definitely be stopping again when in the area.

Incredible Philly cheesesteak sandwich! Well worth the few minute detour from I-90. Super friendly staff as well.

My family eats here quite a bit, my favorite is the chicken salad hoagie and the chicken salad melt... The best chicken salad ever! The owners and staff are extremely accommodating, kind, and personable. With so many delicious options, it's one of our favorite go-to's!

Stopped in today on our way home from camping. So glad we did! The owners (I think they were the owners) were very nice. Lots of options to choose from on the menu. Our group had phillys, the crispy chicken salad, beef lumpia and cheese steak lumpia. We loved everything but the cheese steak lumpia. It was just Philly meat and grease served with a side of cheese. So I don't recommend that one. However, the beef and veggie lumpia was incredible! And the salad was exactly what I hoped for. We ate half our food there and then put the rest in the cooler for dinner tonight. Reheated well! No soggy buns. The owners asked us multiple times how things were and if they could do anything for us. We will definitely be back! :)

My wife and I stopped in here for lunch because we saw the sign off the highway. I’m a big fan of Philly cheese steaks and this place had one of my all time favorites. The sandwich was stuffed to the brim and super flavorful and the hogie roll it was on was so good! We also met the owners who were great people and made us feel super welcomed. It is definitely a placed we will stop in at next time we are in the area!

Good food found here. If I'm in the area again, I will be revisiting. The beef in the Philly cheese was extra amazing. Soft and very flavorfull. My wife finished her Philly the following morning and her final statement was "I wish there was more". 509 Philly should franchise.
