Horrible staff!!! After walking down Snowden with some friends in torrential rain we arrived in Llanberis. 2 friendly women were waiting for a taxi and it turned out they were heading to Pen Y Pass like us. We asked if we could share the taxi with them and they agreed, we also promised to help pay. When the taxi arrived the driver refused to let us in and proceeded to be aggressive and called us scroungers. It was very clear that they wanted to make more money by making us order another cab. It seems others who have written reviews have had the same experience. Coming to a new country and having that sort of welcome was disappointing to put it mildly. Avoid at all costs!!!!

Absolutely terrible experience this evening after a 7 hour hike. We called the number at the bottom of Llanberis walk requesting a quote to the car park at the bottom of Pen-y-pass. A man answered and wouldn't provide a quote and said speak to the driver. The driver arrived saying a cab has been booked. He asked us where we need to go and we repeated that we needed to go to the bottom of the road leading up pen y pass on the A4086 past the fork. He then quoted us £10 but since we car shared with 3 other passengers it ended up being £4 for 2 people which he took payment upfront on the basis there is no signal at the destination. He ended up dropping us at some ride and park car park in Nant Peris. We said this is not where we said we need to be and he said it would cost us an extra money but didn't say how much and he wouldn't take card due to poor signal. Unfortunately we only had £3 change so he accepted that and said he would take us to our actual destination. We had to pay this out of desperation and didn't feel as though we had energy to argue. 10 mins on he bullied us into getting out the cab on the basis that he can't go any further. He told us to get out the car and to take the next Sherpa bus. Would not recommend this company at all especially in such an area with long commutes. Don't get stuck in the wilds of Wales due to this company's miscommunication and absolute disregard for customer safety or satisfaction. Trustpilot next.

We phoned up to get a taxi from Pen y Pass YHA to the bottom of the Watkins Path. It was unplanned so we only had £20 cash on us but more than enough in the car. We were told that all the cash (£38) had to paid at the start of the journey (clearly a tax fiddle) and he wouldn't take us. Disgraceful. I hope the tax man gets him. We did have sufficient funds but the money was in the car which we confirmed so the reply to my review is a lie.

We rang for a taxi Friday night from cae-Gwyn to Pen-y-pas which is about a 3 mile drive. The man on the phone said is was going to be £25 but we had no option but to take the taxi. When we got into the taxi we noticed that the meter was not running and we had to pay cash on arrival. Looking back now we feel we have been ripped off with the lack of meter running I thought this would be illegal. Never use this service.

Lesson learnt, when in Wales always carry cash! Driver Colin was a top bloke and let us have the cab ride for free, down from pen y pass to the overflow car park in the village, as we had no cash on us and signal extremely poor in the valleys for card payments. Great service.

Stucked in the snowdon village in night after a good hike to mount snowdon. We parked our car to the other side of mountain and came down the other way. There was no transportation that time to reach our car which was parked 12 miles far away. Then out of nowhere we see CK cabs and the life saviour Mr. Colin. He dropped us to our car and i had a nice little chat with him while driving. Great service Great Guy Bang on Time.

Great service from CK cabs today. Booked the evening before and they were ready and waiting at the agreed time and place. Got some great advice about the route we were planning up Snowdon, and potential conditions so we were really prepared. He even pointed out which route to take when we got there, and advised how we could get signal/WiFi to contact him again if we needed the service later. Would definitely use CK cabs again.

Clean and safe to ride. Easy to book and do business with. Ultimately it was a very fun experience.
