Great park and children's park. Love the pond full of birds. The secure dog play area is a bonus for dog owners. Japanese garden needs some attention. Members only fishing pods are great. Free parking & Disabled parking is available here. No public toilets.

Interesting place. A refreshing approximately two acres to enjoy your jogging or leisurely walk. It has paths and trees round the lake with some historical information as you go round and surprisingly a set up of a mini stonehenge like pillar rocks in a circle but I was too tired to read through the information. Lots of birds and some wildlife and anglers enjoying a relaxing fishing time but one of them said it was for members only so I guess you can't take your gear on a whim.

A pleasant place to visit with a beautiful lake around it are benches to sit on and feed the ducks, for the children there is a play area and dog walkers will find the open grass areas perfect for their pooch. Acton park also boasts a wonderful garden area with giant standing stones. Fishing is permitted as well, as long as you have the required licence. If you are looking for a refreshing walk/ break Acton park is well worth a visit.

This is a large and nice park with a lake; it's perfect for a peaceful walk. The daffodils are in bloom now.

Lovely area to visit with a children's park, plenty of Benches, nature and scenery to take in. Paths for walking as well as plenty of grass for dog walks too. Always a nice relaxing trip here with lots to take in.

Perfect family day out, walking the dog or just a stroll with a view. Feeding the ducks or playing on the park, fishing. Massive fields and a huge pond. Fairly close to the town centre. Walking distance to two local pubs that both serve lovely food. Right on the door step of the local school. 2 corner shops and a chippy within walking distance too. Small car park at entrance.

Acton Park is local to me and as I've been there many times with my children or walking the dogs, it tends to just look like it always does to me. Nothing new, nothing special. There's a decent size lake to walk around with various wild life about, and some wooded areas to do some exploring. When I was a child I used to visit the Asian garden part alot with two little ponds that would always have frogs or frog spawn in, this doesn't seem to happen anymore or I just haven't notice, and unfortunately the garden part seems to have had no attention for a long time and looks very tired. It's a shame because it would be a nice place to sit, and there's a small boardwalk along the back which is nice, and there's a small bamboo forest that's always great for the children to explore. A little further around the corner is a kind of stone henge looking piece. Again, nice place to sit and the children enjoy climbing the rock. There used to be two play areas, however it's only the toddler park that remains now, which is still great fun for the younger ones, but a bit babyish for the older kids. Plenty of fields, wooded area, seating areas and fishing areas providing you have a licence. Different seasons give different effects to Acton Park, and it would be great to visit each season if you can. Alot of people enjoy walking around the lake and also taking their dogs, people seem sensible and keep dogs on leads if there is a chance they won't get along with the other dogs. Nice little area, no strenuous walking, just nice and relaxed.

Been going there since I was a child and these days it’s really well cared for. My dad has an oak tree planted there in recognition for the work he did for the community. The playground is lovely and fenced off, there is a little fenced off dog park. The park really is a gem.

Acton Park is a 12.5-acre passive park located in Acton, Wrexham. It was dedicated in 2005 and is a center point of the community thanks to the hard work and efforts of local residents. The park holds seasonal programming such as movie nights and concerts in the summer as well as summer day camps for youth. The central feature of the park is the lake which was originally constructed using puddled clay in the 18th century but during the 1970s, the pond was drained and butyl lined. Fishing is popular on the lake with platforms provided for anglers.

Lovely area to jog and walk with your dog, plenty of grass for your dog to run around, children's play area with resting chairs. Loved the scenic beauty during sunny days. You can feed the goose and ducks with grains, corn and bird feed but strictly no bread and other stuffs. Very relaxed and peaceful place to visit & meditate.

Great place just for a walk around the lake , plenty of ducks to feed too , well maintained by people of the community and the lake is also run by a local angling group who also keep the fishing platforms and the lake in great condition too ,plenty of fish to catch, and they are always putting a new Stock of fish in to get it back to its glory days πŸ˜€

Acton park is a nice place to be on a warm summer day, sunny spring afternoon or sunny cold morning. The atmosphere is peaceful, you will see different kind of trees, birds, different places from the lake to the chinese garden, tennis court, fishing, dog friendly, kids garden with playground... enjoy and don't forget a thermos coffee, butties, drinks, a place you will hit but never miss.

Nice Park to visit. Plenty of shade to hide in and lots of space for dogs and kids to run about. Fishing pegs available but you need the permission to fish from the Angling club. Lots of benches and a play area.
