Arrived
about
half
twelve,
during
a
biblical
deluge,
and
had
absolutely
no
trouble
finding
a
space
in
the
car
park...
It's
possible
that
the
first
round
of
the
FA
Trophy
isn't
a
big
draw
to
the
wider
public,
can't
think
why!
There
were
about
five
people
in,
including
staff,
and
all
of
them
watching
obscure
egg
chasing.
Ordered
two
pints
of
Smith's,
which
immediately
began
a
conversation,
and
we
were
asked
if
we
were
here
for
the
football...
I
should
have
lied,
but
said
yes,
and
the
next
question
was
about
our
trip
from
Boston,
to
which
I
replied
that
we're
not
from
Boston,
we're
tourists.
Cue
raised
eyebrows
and
strange
looks
all
round!
While
at
the
bar,
ordering
the
next
round,
I
felt
a
tap
on
my
shoulder.
Not
to
worry,
I
turned
round
to
see
a
friendly
smiling
face,
who
told
me
that
he'd
put
too
much
in
the
Juke
box,
and
feel
free
to
add
any
songs
I
wanted...
Scroll
forward
two
hours,
and
it
still
sounded
like
the
Hacienda
circa
1990,
and
we
had
a
game
to
go
to,
and
a
ground
to
tick
off.
Good
beer,
great
staff,
and
friendly
welcoming
customers...
Can't
do
better
as
a
visiting
football
fan.
