Was staying locally in the area and had this restaurant recommended to us. The grounds are lovely, it’s nestled off a very peaceful country road near to The Flash. Inside, each room has a very different feel. We were sat in the orangery / conservatory by the window looking out to the gardens. The service we received was very friendly and the food we had (pork and chorizo burger) was the best we’ve experienced. The only downside is we didn’t have room for pudding. Definitely worth a visit.

A wonderful country pub, good food, very spacious, lovely outside seating, with a view to a stunning lake.

The place is stunning, the staff were on the ball and very friendly. Lovely atmosphere and as for the food, well let's just say it didn't disappoint. It came quickly despite it being busy, the meat was cooked perfectly, the veg was lovely and as you can see the Yorkshire pudding was massive.. all in all genuinely can't complain, was a fantastic place and we can't wait to visit again.

Excellent experience from arrival to departure. Tasty well presented food. Very pleasant and attentive staff.Just one suggestion, handrails would be beneficial for the elderly ( and others) on the two sets of two stairs, upstairs. It would make the visit to the toilet much safer. Many thanks. Well done.

Busy popular dining Gastro pub with a few people who just drink at the large bar. Multiple rooms with old dining tables and chairs, bookcases and pictures. Lovely large garden with nice surroundings. Always best to book in advance, dogs are allowed, but not in every room. Food is delicious and well presented.dogs are allowed in certain areas.

The Pant is a family favourite and have visited it for years. Very busy this day so we were missed outside until I went to the bar, but not a big problem. Food and staff lovely. Good beers too!

Great food and friendly staff. Booking recommended, it's a big but intimate restaurant so getting a table shouldn't be a problem if it's a spur of the moment decision. I had the crispy beef salad, full of flavour and nice size portion. Plenty of room to park.

Make sure you have plenty of room, because you'll need it. Lovely setting in an old farm house, with beautiful gardens you can sit and enjoy your meal too. Great food and the portions will fill the hungriest of bellies. Good value and really tasty, highly recommended.

The area and the building is amazing, real homely feeling about the place and I can’t wait to get into the beer garden in the summer. Food I had last night was incredibly nice with the chicken lover pate and steak burger for mains. Friendly service and I can’t wait to come down again. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a bite to eat with a pint in the beer garden or a evening meal with friends and family.

8 of us visited her for a meal. Service was excellent. It was very busy with most tables taken. All starters arrived within a minute of each other and the same for the main courses. Food was great. Good selection of beers and wines. Always enjoy eating in a Brunning and Price and for me this is one of the best. Lovely pub in a lovely setting. Great in the summer.

Always served really nice food, and decent price. Lovely location. Sadly however, my wife felt the staff were quite rude to her and her friends, so we won't be going back for a while

We went to this place on a Sunday Ave in noon at the request of my wife. She had been here once before for a weekday luncheon with a friend and considered it a lovely place to have lunch. My experience was a little bit less enjoyable. The staff was friendly if not attentive. The portions were a little skimpy for a Sunday meal but they were not bad. We were put as a couple in a room with families with small children. It was noisy but happy. The walk around the grounds afterwards was hampered by rain but still enjoyable.

Made to feel very welcoming with dog treats and water on arrival for our golden retriever. Service is very good, the Guiness is the best around these parts (Ive sampled quite a few)Table service was good very polite and friendly waitress. Overall just a really nice experience.

Came as a group of 20 for a friends birthday, everything was absolutely fantastic from the food to the service. Big fan of the small dishes they offer, the halloumi fries are to die for. Very busy place but the service is spot on didn’t catch the name of the girl serving us but she was amazing went above and beyond to make our visit enjoyable. Food service was fast as well even for such a large group booking. Will definitely be back, Thank you very much to the entire team at The Pant.

Lovely meal here. Good choice of menu. Delicious food. I had the lamb, and it was perfectly cooked. Very nice desserts as well. The staff were very nice and the service was good.

This is a fantastic place to meet friends and family for great food in a unique setting. It’s full of historic character and atmosphere, but with an enthusiastic, young staff and a wonderful outdoor space with a peaceful pastoral view of the lake. We always feel welcomed here!

Great pub with a huge beer garden and plenty of outdoor seating. Good for families with kids as the children can play. The manager was helpful and let us move two tables together for our big group. Staff are nice and friendly. We had a great time

This is lovely a setting right by a lake. The food we had was to die for. It is a bit set back but worth it for the location and the food. Also, the staff are very attentive and accommodating.

Can never fault a trip to the Pant! Amazing food, friendly service and plenty of drinks choice. Great atmosphere inside and a fantastic outside space - huge beer garden with lake views and a perfect sun trap! The staff are always helpful and amenable for birthdays and special occasions too. There is always a great choice of food and I've never had a bad meal here.

A beautiful pub set in a beautiful village. All staff are helpful and hardworking. The food was delicious, I had the battered fish. The building and grounds were clean and welcoming. Excellent children's menu. We couldn't fault either the service or the food.

Nice bit of grub! Lovely setting, pleasant and friendly staff. The only slight criticism would be they were a bit 'light' on the lime in my lime and soda!

First time being back here in a while, had a lovely time. Staff was helpful & friendly. However there wasn't much options for the vegetarian mains. It was either a curry, a pretty delicious small pastry with tomato & feta & small side salad together (which should have been more like a starter than a main price, picture below) or a quiche with mint as mains (I don't like mint in my cooked food, only on ice cream). There were a few options in the starter menu for vegetarian, which was lovely. We had the olives which was absolutely delightful, very fresh and tastful of it's natural moist flavours in. Overall it was lovely, but I would like to see more options next time I visit for vegetarians or vegans if possible. Thank you.

Lovely family catch up over two tables, due to the rule of six. Great service and exceptional food. We had booked tables inside, but due to the weather we're offered adjacent tables in the garden, a lovely touch and thoughtful. All social distancing protocol followed and a thoroughly relaxing afternoon.👍
