Stayed at the next door hotel for two nights and enjoyed dinner and a few drinks at The Beeches both evenings. Service was fabulous with attentive and friendly staff. Food was reasonably priced and across the six meals we had, there were no complaints to be had. Laura was fantastic, both as a waitress and as a trainer as there was a new member of staff being guided through her first and second day on the job. Graham was also great with us, ensuring we were looked after and accommodating us with our reservation requests. A cheap, cheerful and coctail-fuelled experience. Will make sure to visit again should I find myself in the area!

Haven't visited for a long time.. A friend recommended so thought we would try it out Was not disappointed.. They have an amazing budget dinner menu And a regular menu with more options for meals and budget 2 meals for £8.99.. And a starter /pudding for a super price of only £2.49..each Didn't have to make a reservation on this occasion but I'm guessing it is recommended The staff are polite and friendly and young always blows me away how superb these young teenagers are at their jobs.. Again nothing is to much.. The food is very good value and ample portions.. So much so.. Could only manage a starter and a main.. It's well cooked and presented.. Will definitely return in the future..

The food was a bit more than we would normally pay for an all you can eat breakfast, the building its self is nothing to write home about, it's in a travel lodge after all. That being said and out the way however, the staff were friendly, the food was fresh and well cooked, and very welcoming for children and it truly was all you can eat on everything. We will definitely go here again for a family breakfast out..

Lovely food and staff. Good value for money. Slightly cold where we were sitting. Cold draft everytime someone came in through the door. Everything else was 👍. Would definitely return.

My 10 year old & I visited for the breakfast yesterday & I honestly cannot believe the value. We had all you can eat full English, continental & drinks all for under a tenner (kids eat free) - amazing! When booking I'd asked for a quieter spot, against a wall (which I wasn't too confident we would as I'd heard it gets incredibly busy & I'd only booked an hour before) as my son doesn't do too well in crowds, noise etc. To my delight we were taken to a perfect area & the staff member gave Rhys the choice of tables. On leaving they told me I could request the same table next time I booked too 🙂 Of course the food, plates, mugs kept running out, but before anybody could ask for more the staff were refilling them. It was really busy, but the staff worked like a well oiled machine. The staff were all so polite, patient, professional & accommodating - thank you so much! We will be back!

I took my children to The Beeches on Friday evening for a birthday meal for my 12 year old daughter, and we had a really pleasant time. The food was great, good value, and service time was quick. Wendy was fantastic and very friendly as always - she’s a credit to the company. She knew we were coming in for my daughter’s birthday so she’d arranged to put up a birthday banner at our table, and when dessert came out she’d gone to the trouble of making a lovely gesture of decorating the plate with a birthday message and a candle, and she and another member of staff gave a rendition of happy birthday. Thanks for making it a lovely visit!

The staff were welcoming and waiting times were minimal, drink orders were taken pretty much straight away. The food was hot, great value and well worth the money paid. It was great. The main special menu was a great find, plenty of options on this menu and 2 meals for under £10 before 6pm. Fantastic! The restaurant was clean and family friendly. We were able to get a round table to fit 8 people so this was an added bonus. Thank you for the excellent experience.

We hadn’t been here for awhile but from experience we booked a table as it does get busy at lunch times. The staff remembered us & as always they were pleasant, smiley & efficient, as expected we had a little wait as the place was busy but absolutely nothing to complain about. Off the lunchtime saver menu we had the Club Sandwich, always a good bet & the Chilli Jacket Potato, it was lovely, a Lime & soda & J20..Total bill, £15+ good food excellent value, we’ll be heading back soon. I did take a pic but can’t work out how to send it 🤪

Sorry but this is not a place I would to again. Not like it was when it first opened. The outside tables were, if not glasses on them , then they were covered with plates which still had food on. The staff seemed to be more interested in their phones than clearing or wiping the tables. With that in mind I cancelled my food order.

Booked via Google - was busy upon arrival but table was ready. Took a little time for drinks to arrive but I’d like to say the staff are wonderful - very polite and friendly. A great deal on food too - two dine for £10.99. I haven’t been here for years, I’ll definitely return. Thank you for a lovey meal.

Booked last minute on bank holiday weekend. I can't fault this place. The food was lovely. Kids enjoyed their 3 course meal. The service was first class !. Special mention to Gaz who served our food with a smile , even after a wobbly dessert, he recovered with a further smile and humour. Thanks for a lovely meal guys 😀

What a nice and cozy pub! I ate Sunday dinner there, had my first ever Sunday roast (it was delicious!) a pint of ale and then ate breakfast there the next day which was also splendid. The prices are reasonable, the food and drink superb, and the staff was courteous, prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable. 5 ⭐️

I went here for tea with a few family members, we booked prior to going and when we got there everything we needed was there including the highchair. All the staff were very attentive and couldn't do enough for us. We didn't feel rushed or that we had to give table back after so long which is what a lot of places are doing now and it's not nice. Food was spot on and even tho we had the meal offer that they have before 5pm it was more than enough food. I really don't have a negative for here but I do recommend you go there soon.

Called in for a breakfast with my better half on a Christmas frosty morning. I would definitely recommend it. A peaceful atmosphere and very friendly staff. The breakfast was delicious with a full menu to take your pick from. Will definitely be going back.

I visit here quite often, the food is amazing! You can get 2 meals for £10 off the value menu and you can add a starter or dessert for £2.50. Staff are lovely, very clean place, lots of parking. They also do an all you can eat breakfast buffet in the mornings where you can have a cooked breakfast along with continental items. Tea,coffee, juice etc are all included. Not a bad word to say about this place.

Nice place and good value for money. The newer menu is better. Some staff are nice and some can be can be slow, we were ignored for a time when we arrived by passing staff and not do service checks, offer more drinks etc. We paid at the bar because no one came to our table for ages. I will go again, its good for a cheap eat

cannot understand why they only have 3.9 avg stars - staff are great, really friendly and great with kids, food is very good and comes quickly and hot. Breakfast is good too with a wide choice from pancakes, toast and cereal through to a full english. thanks for the great experience guys and will hopefully dine here again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ from us 👍

Was alright not the best I've had. I went for the breakfast. Table service and when it arrived sausages, mushrooms, beans and eggs were cold. Hash brown and bacon were freshly cooked. But other than that not to bad.

Looking at the pub its seems very good and very homely. But this particular day they were short staffed due to covid so everything was very slow but i think an hour waiting just to order our drinks is enough time. Then the food took another half an hour to arrive. The food itself was good with them only forgetting small things. The steak only had a few pieces of gristle in. The desert was good no problems there...... but the large problem i had was they had left over food on the tables. In our situation they took our plates and just put them on the table mext to us which was free at the time ut there was also still half full plates on another table And the people had left over half an hour ago.The waitress walked past our table several times with our empty plates being on the table but still choose to ignore it.We were there over 2 hours with our actual eating time only being half and hour with both courses.

We decided to give the Beeches a try due to an offer they had on. The food is fine for the price we paid. Is it the best food we've ever eaten in a restaurant...no, but was it good value and enjoyable..yes. The staff were all very friendly and attentive and we would visit again.

Lovely atmosphere early evening and the service was good. Food was poor - very obviously all from frozen and portions mediocre. Pie boiling hot, typical of having been cooked quickly in the oven, but mash and peas that had been sat on the plate waiting were sort of warm-hot. Definitely needed a starter, and even then the food wasn't correct and had to ask for lemon to go with the fish (also from frozen). Small jug of gravy with the pie and had to ask for more. Child's portion for an 8 year old the same size as for a 4 year old and it just wasn't enough. Had a 25% off voucher which was oddly worked out (12.5% off food and 12.5% off drinks). Without this discount, would have complained about the quality of the meal. Pie was £11+ and for a couple of pounds more would have got a homemade pie, decent size at a decent local pub. Overpriced and underwhelming. Wouldn't visit again.

😐 We put a work order in twice a week. Service used to be ace, it's fallen away slightly in recent months (it's still reasonable) and much more push back on some request. Shame really, we'll just try some other locals.
