Excellent meal, first time back for indoor dinning, warm welcome and lovely new additions to the menu. We all enjoyed our choice, freshly prepared and very tasty. Would highly recommend. Another visit and lovely again, Guinness, Wrexham Larger and Sommersby Cider all on draught, our meals were excellent. Would recommend

Had Sunday lunch at The Cross Keys and it was wonderful. Great tasting food, excellent service and such a lovely welcome, from Paul . I can’t believe it’s taken so long to try this pub, but so glad we did today. I would highly recommend visiting, you won’t be disappointed. Between us we had 3 different meals and everyone enjoyed theirs, desserts were sooo delicious. Lovely location, snug and cosy, excellent staff and a wonderful welcome, will definitely return

The Cross Keys is my local pub and it’s by far the best pub around! The atmosphere is fantastic, the food is incredible and the staff are always so smiley and accommodating. Couldn’t recommend the Cross Keys enough! Book a table and go visit, you won’t be disappointed!

Lovely pub overlooking the River. Such poor value, 3 burgers & chips and 2 beer , 1 glass coke was £62. Small portions, just a dry burger with chips. No salad, no tomato or lettuce on the burger and the smallest pot of coleslaw ive ever been served.... avoid !

24 of us for Sunday roast and what a mix! The vegan, vegetarian, gluten free and the usual roast dinners were all absolutely delicious 😋. The nut roast was amazing, the vast selection of vegetables were cooked to perfection, the meats tasty and everything was really hot. The homemade apple and cinnamon crumble with custard was out of this world! The dining room was toasty and warm and all the staff were very friendly. Thank you Paul!! We all had a really lovely afternoon ❤️

This is a great pub, nestled into the hills near Wrexham and Mold. The staff are friendly and polite. The food is delicious and there are many returning customers. The menu caters for all tastes. The friendly landlord, Paul caters for parties too. I had my 60th birthday party there. Paul drove all the way back from a rugby match in Edinburgh to organise my party. What a star! That's why The Crossed Keys is our favourite pub in the area.

Thank you for your kindness, wonderful food and inviting and homely atmosphere for my brother in law's wake. The homemade sausage rolls were amazing. Thank you for hosting this event for our family and for embracing Jason when he was with us.

Fantastic Burns Night shared with 6 friends. The food, music and entertainment made for an wonderful evening. Host and his staff were great and the laughter and fun will be hard to beat next time...but I'm sure they will! Can't wait for our visit.

Excellence lunch today, cooked perfectly. Really good pint of beer. Staff very attentive and nothing too much trouble. Hygiene standards very good. In short a really good experience at a proper pub, will definitely be back when visiting the area again.

We have just had a wonderful take out meal which words can't express how lovely it was. The flavours were immense in the mutton lamb curry and the size of the BBQ ribs and chicken wings were beyond but as my husband said we can't leave beautiful meat everything was so tasty and can't recommend the take out menu enough - the quality was just as good as if we had been sitting in which we have also done . The only good thing about lockdown is having another meal from here. Thank you to all the staff we are full and content!

Recently reopened and still a little gem of a place. Loads of character with log fires. Loads of seating inside and out. Great menu with lots of choices and the beer was good too.

Wonderful ancient local pub with history and attentive staff and good menu. Wi Fi password needs work it's not MI6 or Cold War etc. Needs 2 choices of proper beer but apart from that v good.Google closing times need reviewing etc.

Absolutely delicious food as always, great service and reasonably priced. So happy to see you back open again, the Sunday dinner was amazing. The haggis fritters are highly recommended, my favourite thing on the menu! Thanks and see you soon!! Michael
