Very pleasant staff and comfy beds. However very poor mobile phone signal and you have to pay for wi-fi, also have to pay for parking even when your a guest. There are no plug sockets around the bed area which i found really annoying. The shower is okay if you are 3 foot tall, which unfortunately i am not. I stayed for 6 nights for my job and my room wasn't cleaned or bed linen or towels changed once. I can honestly say i won't be returning.

The room was very unclean, looked like it hadn't been dusted in months, there weren't enough plugs and they were all really far away from the bed! Most of the Hotel Staff weren't friendly! The vending machine prices were extortionate.... To top it off you have to pay £7 for parking!

Really lovely friendly staff, had a good laugh with them. Clean room as per but remember you are on a main road before moaning about the traffic. Bit of a walk into town, which we knew, but there are buses and taxis though.. We walked and felt safe sober out and half cut back.. 👍👍

Ideal for stopover while visiting family. Room was clean and comfortable, tea and coffee making facilities, everything we needed.

Lovely staff here and very welcoming. Decor is a little out of date and room was a little musky. But still a good deal if you catch it on a low rate night

Staff were great 👍. Had to pay for the carpark £4. Its a disappointing that you pay for the room plus the carpark to. Remote control for the TV not working. Bathroom door was stiff to open and shut. Heavy smell of bleach. There is a subway and a petrol station on site.

One of the problems we found was the shower was to low for my son and was in one position and another there was no lift even though it was only 2 story high I still found it difficult only having stairs but the staff were so helpful and pleasent

The staff make this place. Every staff member I had contact with, both front of house and housekeeping, were friendly, fun, and helpful. The hotel is in a good location, not too noisy and with a good selection of amenities nearby. Unfortunately that’s where the positives end. I understand that this is a cheap, 1 star hotel, but even that should have some standards. On the first night there was a noticeable smell of urine on the bedding, so the following morning asked for the room to be cleaned and also made staff aware that the toilet flush was broken. Returned to a ‘clean’ room (at least to the best of their ability given the general run down state of the room) and a partially fixed flush (I say that because it actually flushed, which it had stopped doing). The flush broke again the first time we used it and we spent the rest of our stay having to hold it in whilst it flushed and then pulling it out again to stop the water running. Again there was a smell of urine but we couldn’t quite place it. When stripping the bed to leave, we noticed urine stains on the mattress, one of which was particularly large and was evidently the source of the smell we had been unable to properly locate as the smell got stronger as soon as it was exposed. Despite being set up as a family room for 4, we were given 3 towels and spoons, and one spare pillow. It wasn’t problem as there were only two of us, just found it odd. Some of the mugs were badly stained and one of the spoons dirty. There was only one spare plug which was by the tv so not very convenient. We ended up unplugging the kettle to use that plug too. In general the room looked in need of a little attention but I accept that for the price you can’t expect much.

Typical travel lodge tbh, the lights all flickered and there are only 2 plug sockets in the room and they aren't near the bed and one of the plugs had issues. Everything was clean and comfortable, shower was hard to use and toilet didn't work very well.

Staff were lovely and very helpful. The hotel itself would benefit a refurbishment as looking very tired

Travelodges are always a hit or miss. This one is more on the not very good side. Only happy part is the smiling & welcoming receptionists. Broken & empty shower gel dispenser, tv remote doesn't work. Overall okay.

You need to pay £7 for hotel's car park. Personel very rude. They talked with me like "why have you come here?" If I had more money to pay another hotel, I would stay in a different hotel today.

Pros: excellent location if you're travelling around North Wales and need to get in and out quickly. It has a small Asda, a Subway and Starbucks just a few steps from the hotel. Cons: The bathroom door wasn't closing and there was no extractor in the bathroom which leaves a slight humidity smell in the room. The lady in the reception at night offered very good service.

Staff extremely helpful and dog friendly, comfortable but sparse rooms, could do with a coffee table. Limited TV channels and no external allowance made for relaxation.

It's free to park in the town center after 11 am, but this hotel's car park is not free, even for customers. I gave 1 star because of car park, staff is very nice and they deserves 5 star

Probably Stayed in the same room as another reviewer...bathroom door would only close if you pushed the latch in while closing!!!! As per usual one particular set of guests & their offspring disturbing all others. Pretty awful view out of the window of some very tall trees about 10 feet away from the building...and several years worth of litter/plastic wrapping at the foot of them.

Nice enough Travelodge but had to pay for parking. Also it is quite far from the town centre. We went for a Travelodge to save money but by the time we paid for parking and a taxi to town and back it worked out much more than the Premier Inn. Premier Inn is in easy walking distance to the town. Staff were friendly.

We had a great experience! Rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff went totally above and beyond. Would DEFINITELY stay again!

You know where Travelodge let themselves down? Answer: The little things. Charging for parking & WiFi these days is archaic, as is getting a unit that's in the middle of nowhere, on the side of an A road & industrial units. Extra marks given for the polite and warm service provided from the staff, but this is a really charmless site.

Lovely! I was apprehensive ar first as this was a very basic budget hotel . However when I arrived I was pleasantly suprised. The room itself was almost totally spotless . Basic amenities but very clean with a comfy double bed. Over the course of 5 days I met several members of staff. Everyone was sooo friendly and welcoming also providing reccomendations of nearby food places. Also the breakfast to go. Despite the criticism I've ready personally I think it's a bargain for what you get in the box and perfect for collecting and going off to a meeting etc. No complaints at all about my stay.

Awful... Faulty towers comparable. For what we paid for each room, I would expect more. Basic. Not clean. Pipes made a noise all night. Beds uncomfortable.. could use a refresh. Drip through the night but taps were off. Tv didn't work in out moms room. No breakfast was included in price. We also booked a disabled access room for our mother who uses a walker. Which wasn't accessible. Shower over the bath. So unusable. She cant lift herself over bath to use the shower so not disability friendly. If u are gonna say its accessible make it accesible. Very disappointing

This hotel is very beautiful and has an attractive minimalist architecture. I hope to be able to stay here for a few nights soon.

We stayed here for 2 nights. Very basic service as expected best part you'll have access to the petrol pump, macdonalds KFC within 5 minutes drive which is an advantage.

Disgusting - My daughter stayed for one night last Sunday.:- toe nails on the carpet, obviosly not been hoovered. Every surface covered in heavy dust. Period stains on the quilt. Handsoap had not been refilled

Very very basic, plus point is that it has a roof. Downsides are its in the middle of nowhere, no EE signal, Vodafone is fine. Wifi is chargeable, parking is chargeable. Road outside is noisy. Delivery to the Subway or Starbucks wakes you in the middle of the night. The lady on reception when checking in was rude, the lady on reception when leaving was fantastic. Good luck!

It is nice place to stay, very nice and clean carpet and room, we book family room for 1 day, reach after 7 and leave 12pm next day, it was hot day so staff before check in leave fan open that's why room's temperature was so cool, thanks

Room was very basic but relatively clean and well presented, the only issue we really had was the lack of plug sockets or even usb charging points. Most of the sockets had been blanked off with only two sockets free (one of which was hidden by the TV that had bad Freeview reception and was pretty useless) so the choice was run the fan too keep cool or charge your phone or even god help me if I fancied a cuppa! Come on Travelodge get in the 2000s at least, put some usb points in by the bed or is this your way of saying you can't afford the electric prices too (even with the inflated room prices?) All in all we got what we expected from a Travelodge. Big shout out and thanks to the very polite efficient reception lady, nice to see some friendly helpful staff these days.

I arrived late 2am but the gentleman on the desk was super helpful as we had to pay for parking. The bed was comfortable and it was clean. However, the stairs were taxing with bags . There was no lifts.

The beds are comfortable and the staff are polite. Very basic, shower was only good for anyone shorter than 5'6 and the plug didn't actually fit in the bath plug hole correctly so I had to leave the tap running for my daughter to have a bath.

Not much to look at from the outside, but inside it's clean, tidy and very welcoming. It's actually one of the cleanest Travelodges we've ever stayed in and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I went downstairs in the morning to get the iron and board and the kind attendant brought it to our room for us! We would definitely go back and stay again!

Typically Travelodge clean and cheap. But don't bother if you are a wheelchair user as the bathroom is well a bathroom and its very small, the toilet is very low and small. The one disabled Bay out front is very small, I had to park my medium-sized car half way across the next Bay as there wasn't much space to get my wheelchair out of the car as there was a high curb on one side. The hotel itself was okay just needs an update. Oh and the odd colour lighting in the so called assessable room look eh odd lol.

Rooms clean. Beds a little hard. Free parking. No restaurant so breakfast was in a takeaway box. Staff friendly and relaxed. Quiet and tucked away.
