Brilliant! After trying for months to get into my GP for removal and investigation of a "growth" on my face I took my partner's advice and contacted Freyja.... Really glad I did! This is a PROPER medical environment, efficient and really friendly reception staff who made me feel welcome from the outset. My initial consultation with Dr James Dean was brilliant - honestly, this Doctor is brilliant. Recommended a minor procedure, which I booked for the following week... Again, Doctor Dean was amazing - quick, painless and low key procedure. Took his time and let me get back on my feet after the local anaesthetic. Amazing experience. First time going to a dermatologist and it was a good first experience, the staff is friendly. Keli who consulted me is knowledgeable and reassuring to talk to. He explained to me what I had and how to treat it with great detail. If I ever have future problems with my skin I would definitely come back.

I had been thinking about having some aesthetic 'help' for a couple of years and finally took the first step with a consultation with Nurse Clare Wyatt. Clare put all my worries at ease and answered questions I had. Explained everything fully including any potential contraindications. I'd gone in with the area in mind for treatment that concerned me most and Clare suggested it was actually a different area that should be treated which would help the area I was concerned about most which I'd never considered and just shows how she knows her stuff. I was so impressed at the consultation that I had the treatment later that day and I'm over the moon with the results. I don't look like a different person, which was one of my main worries. The change is subtle but has a huge impact on what I see in the mirror. I look fresher and far less 'tired out' which makes me feel so much better in myself. Another plus is how painless and quick it all was. I've had no bruising and would not hesitate to go for a top up when it's needed. It's a very welcoming place and would highly recommend.

My appointment with James was spot on time. He was very pleased with the result after I had been using Efudix on my skin for a month. He told me that I didn't need to return for another year to check on everything. All the staff were friendly and efficient. Thank you.

Being a casualty of the current NHS crisis and having little option but to seek help to remove a large BCC lesion off my nose, I reached out to Freyja for their help and advice. I am so glad I did. After 18 months waiting for the NHS to remove this cancerous growth, Dr T stepped in and cured it, with upmost care and professionalism, with incredible dedication and determination to give me the best outcomes possible. I cannot thank him enough for his skills and rapid response to removing and curing my cancer with minimal post operative effects and, time will tell, low scarring too. 10/10 for a truly amazing result and very very pleased BTW I am only just over a week in and already the scarring is minimal and that in itself is wonderful news when it’s front and centre on your face. I attended the clinic for a medical surgical procedure. All the staff I met, both reception and clinical were friendly, relaxed and efficient, making the whole process a pleasure. I just hope the outcome is as pleasing when dressings are removed and wounds have healed, but I am sure that will be fine.

As soon as I walked in I felt at ease. The receptionists were so so friendly. The practice looked amazing and the surroundings were immaculate. I was greeted by James and we talked about what the procedure, the product, the desired affect and a realistic goal that could be achieved for my first visit. James has a vast knowledge on skin and we talked about how the sun can even damage my skin on a cloudy day by UVA which I didn’t even realise so as my daily skin routine I shall be wearing sun block. The treatment was pain free and I can honestly say I really didn’t feel the injections at all. I also had a prompt email giving me fantastic aftercare instructions within minutes. My experience at Freyja medical was fantastic! Dr James Dean was amazing, very professional and knowledgeable! I went in to have a small bump removed on my nose- to his dismay he found a small mole that troubled him on my face. So there and then he wrote me a referral letter to my GP to have it looked at. This week I am having the mole sampled and sent off at the Wrexham Maelor maxillo facial surgery unit. Fingers crossed it is nothing serious. But if it is- how fortunate that I went to Freyja and met James which, could be life changing. Meanwhile the bump on my nose has healed very well and I’m no longer as self conscious of my side profile. Thank you James and thank you to your team at Freyja. A very professional service from the moment we entered the reception. I had a cyst removal removed from my lower back by Dr James dean (one of life's genuine good guys) , perfect results only took about 50 mins from start to finish no pain whatsoever and spoken to me every step of the way what was going on. I am half way through the laser hair removal treatment, I can not believe such great results so far. Wanted to thank the reception girls for being super professional and friendly. I originally went to Freyja looking for more information on laser hair removal and was won over by their professionalism and service. I ended up following a full course of treatment and the lady who did it for the entire course was amazingly friendly, chatty and generally just a laugh even when I was getting lasered. The reception staff and others that I encountered were also all friendly and super helpful, even when I needed to reschedule they were always willing to work around me. This level of service led to me also getting minor surgery with Freyja to have a cyst removed on my back and the service was the same. Friendly and professional, we even had a laugh during the operation (I was under local anaesthetic, I wasn’t hallucinating). I highly highly highly recommended Freyja and wish that I could have found them earlier, before I moved to another country, so that I could have used them more.

I found Freja to be a very friendly place and was very impressed by the treatment I received. The doctor whom I saw was excellent and was ,obviously, an expert in his field. Within 4 days after my visit my problem was fully cured. I could not ask for more.

I love visiting Freyja! Everyone is so friendly and professional. What I really appreciate is nothing is forced upon you and only treatments that are suitable are suggested. If the staff don’t think a treatment will work or is right for you, they will explain the reasons and offer alternative solutions. There’s no hard sell.

The hydrafacial deluxe was just what I needed. Just hit 45 and felt I was looking tired, lots of fine lines. Walked out feeling radiant, my skin feels amazing!! Highly recommend. Staff great, location perfect.

Deeply disappointed. I visited Dr Dean about acne breakouts. He confidently diagnosed perioral dermatitis and treatment of 3 months antibiotics and daily cream. He told me no-one had yet returned for follow up after treatment. I stuck with the treatment despite continued breakouts. At the end of 3 months my condition is worse than when I started. It is deeply distressing. When I contacted for follow up I was advised to book another appt at £149. Very disappointed.

I came in to see Dr Dean in regards to a skin condition that I couldn't get under control and I felt as though there was no hope. Dr Dean was so helpful and has put my mind at ease, I can now see a way forward!! Cannot recommend him enough!! First class service, so welcoming as soon as you walk through the door! Amazing!

Hello, For my initial consultation with Frejya I talked to the very informed and reassuring Dermatologist Keli. My reasons for visiting Freyja involved both hair removal and hyperpigmentation and I was recommended that my best course of action in order to both remove hair, clear up hyperpigmentation and keep the chance of any potential side effects to a minimum would be the new Motus AY laser. I had all my questions answered and was given the name of the laser to do my own research on. I was very impressed with the professionalism, understanding and options Keli suggested and displayed in regards to my concerns. I went in for my first test patch laser hair removal treatment a few days ago using the new Motus AY laser that has arrived at the Clinic. I was treated by a wonderful lady named Hattie who explained to me all the details about the treatment, what I could expect, and the after care I would need. I was astonished with how fast, pain free and soothing the laser treatment was. The laser felt cooling to the skin and I would not have known it was a laser treatment that I was having unless I was told. I have had no swelling, pain or redness and my skin in the area that was treated looked calm and as normal when I returned back home. I was and still am so pleased and impressed with this laser treatment and would recommend this laser, Keli's experise, Hatties skill and the Freyja Skin Clinic to anyone with a skin concern.
