Room was very poor and didn't match description / photos advertised. Was a stop off in the middle of a 500mile trip visiting family. Staff were helpful but room overall not fit for purpose. Word of warning - bring your own ear plugs. Walls are very thin and noise travels very easy. Was given the room to the rear overlooking carpark / golf course and could hear the family conversation and TV in the front facing room all evening. The walls are very thin next to the bed and could hear snoring all night in the front facing adjoining room. Toilet seat loose and shower cubical could do with a 4th wall - due to water splash back - towels used on floor to avoid any major water spills. Lack of any windows with only light from skylights - if tall not an issue but for the more vertical challenged can be dangerous standing on seat to open / close. Room felt very confined and stuffy with no real air ventilation during the night. Can not blame the staff as very helpful but room wasn't great.Think next time il rent a campsite. Shame as needed a good night's rest during the drive. WiFi not great with slow service and TV limited to basic Freeview channels. Maybe the main complex is better equipped but for the cheap and cheerful rooms at the rear; I guess I can conclude with "You only get what you pay for". 1 star.

Used here as a base, rooms clean but the bed was very uncomfortable too small and could feel the springs through the mattress🤦‍♀️also i feel there is a need for a no disturb sign to put on the outside of the door. There was a bit of black mould appearing in the shower room which needs to be addressed, also a proper plug in the sink wouldn't go amiss really smells sometimes. We went there years ago but it has really changed to a money making venue now, a shame really🤷‍♀️probably won't go there again.

The room we stayed in was at the back overlooking the golf course . Room needed a good scrub. Bathroom was mouldy in shower and damp near side wall. Tea stains down wall and skirting Needs all edges of room vacuuming. Breakfast was nice and the young lady was lovely. Staff were pleasant and friendly. Sadly will not return due the poor room. 😕 Food lovely at the christening we were attending 😋

Had my wedding here. What a gorgeous venue and the owners/staff are brilliant. The food and drinks are great. It is reasonably priced too. Highly recommend this place for your Wedding or function. You won't regret it.

Not worth the money (nowhere near) - Room was a converted stable, mould all around the shower, dirty tiles and and overall poor standard of decor. Warning sign on taps saying 'do not drink', but its obvious the management have not even bothered to read other reviews as a lack of bottled water is an issue (2 small bottles are nowhere near what should be provided for a £117 room) Very noisy rooms during the late night and morning. Think they cater for passing trade and probably dont have much repeat business, hence the lack of rectifying small issues. We wouldnt go back here

Didn't match the room photos to the ones we got. Before we even got in our room, there were cob webs all around the door, loads of spiders. Inside wasn't great too, stuffy, closed ceiling windows. Would've been worse if I came during hot weather. There are hardly any lights working. Only 1 will work, so the room is dark. There is no drinking water, but only supplied couple of small bottles for the whole day. We were right next to the function hall, but luckily no functions during our stay. The rooms definitely needs an update, and exterior needs a good clean too. The plus point at this hotel is the view at the back and parking your vehicle right next to your room, the staff are friendly, That's about it. I don't know how the bar and food is as didn't have any from them, so cannot comment.

Last minute booking. Room was large but very stuffy. Room was on the ground floor so we didn't feel safe opening the windows. There was a fan, but that just blew around the stuffy air. Shower was excellent, but drains blocked up.

A comfortable motel but only remarks is that the beds are well worn and done my back in after being there for a week . The bathroom was very nice but with only 2 bulbs working . And the heavy smell of pot in the air most nights . Most annoying thing is every morning you get your door knocked by housekeeping. Would be an idea to have a do not disturb hanger available for your door to avoid getting woken up

Really liked the place a good venue. Good catering, pleasant staff. Didn't see the rooms but would think about a stay over at some point and would check out on the Web site. The location is great overlooking the golf course.

We really enjoyed our stay. Our room was nice and had everything we needed for our nights stay. It was clean and the bed was really comfy. Staff were lovely and the food was delicious! Check-in and checking out was fast and friendly. In perfect distance for everything we planned on doing. Would definitely recommend.

I thought I booked an hotel, a place you can sleep. However it turned out to be a partyhouse with loud music until midnight and even 1.00 AM. This combined with a wobbling bed was the reason I got very few nightrest. This was an experience never to be repeated. I'll never come back here, and advise everyone who wants a good night rest to AVOID this "hotel".

Had a coffee here with my husband whilst using the Tesla charger. All can say it was the worst coffee I've ever had to pay for. Watery, literally no coffee in it, took a couple of sips, so disgusted I left it there. Never again!

Greeted by a lovely young man in arrival and couldn't do enough for us, Beautiful room and view, fantastic service from the guys at all mealtimes and such quality food and ample amounts, only negative young lady at reception on checking out was on her mobile and just pointed where we should put the keys, a little bit more customer service there. We had booked to come in June. Just cannot wait as this first trip was a little extra cheeky getaway treat.

This hotel and venue was the perfect place to enjoy and celebrate my sons recent wedding. The service was excellent and the food provided was plenty full and thoroughly enjoyable. The venue provided a relaxed and happy atmosphere for all who attended and we could find no faults whatsoever with this venue. We would therefore like to highly recommend this venue as the perfect place to celebrate a special event.

Stayed over 2 nights the room is clean and functional. The bed was a bit creaky ( wooden frame) but quite comfy. We didn't use any of the facilities as we only used it as a base to sleep. Its well placed if you want to go into chester or fancy a day in Llandudno and the surrounding area. I would happily stay here again should we happen by that way again.

We booked the Mountain Park Hotel for a retirement function for around 80 people. The communication on the build up was great, especially in respect of catering, DJ and some special requests. We had our own large banqueting room, with two floors and different sections. We had our own staffed bar (with very reasonably priced drinks, and a wide selection too). The DJ was great and we were able to show a sideshow of photos on the big screen behind the dance floor. The food was a mix of hot and cold buffet. All of it was delicious and we got great comments about that, the decor and the venue. Many of our friends and family stayed at the hotel and had a lovely time and a huge, filling breakfast. We would definitely recommend and would use it again without question.

Checked in last Saturday, I lovely help full and cheerful young lady on reception. Rooms are adequate for what we needed. Very clean and comfortable bed. Only downside was no hand soap in bathroom sink. Very reasonable price for the room. Paid extra for breakfast but well worth the money. It's all about the quality of the sausage!

Booked to stay here for a girly night after a trip to Chester. There was an issue on arrival where someone else had been given our room. The problem was rectified after some time & we were offered a drink & meal to compensate. The food was amazing in a cosy pub/restaurant. I would highly reccomend visiting for the food. Rooms were OK for the price. Staff were all friendly & John the manager was very pro active.

Ideal stop over for Flint or Mold. Food available up until 19.30 in the evening. There is also a bar. The rooms are in a courtyard layout. They are fine with ensuite facilities and tea and coffee making facilities plus a TV and some of the rooms overlook the golf course. My only gripe was that the access doors to our rooms didn't close properly and the wind blew around the hallway.. - so avoid rooms 4 and 5 if you can. Staff were friendly and responsive. Disabled friendly.

We cannot thank all of the Staff at the Flint Mountain Lodge Hotel particularly Nia for making our Mother’s 90th Birthday Party a very , very special occasion yesterday. The attention to detail was superb, the “Party Room” looked absolutely gorgeous. The Buffet was plentiful and the Chef even made (without notice) a gorgeous dairy-free Pavlova for one of our guests. The very hard working waitresses were on hand to remove empty glasses and clear plates etc. The rooms were also excellent. We will definitely be returning !!

We stayed over as part of a wedding party and the whole experience was just brilliant. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room was lovely decor, clean and spacious. The wedding reception room was dressed amazing, such a lovely area. The children had an inflatable slide and play area that kept them busy outside as well as ample outdoor seating with fantastic views across the golf course. The bar had a fantastic selection of drinks and the food was cooked to perfection, all three courses…Honestly could not fault it!

Yan and his team worked so hard to make my son and beautiful daughter in law's wedding extra special. They service was impeccable and the food was superb, not to mention how helpful the staff where and amazing special touches for the children, bouncy castle and sweet trolley, and looking after nanny with extra milk and coffee as children fell asleep and wanted to stay in nanny's room. Without a doubt a wonderful day, made more special by the teams attention to detail. Thank you so much xx

They were good hosts to a reunion event, good value. Our room was not the best, I suspect its probably the last to be refurbished. Pity all the chargers are Tesla only, missed opportunity to be a hub for other EV drivers.

Fantastic stay at this lovely hotel. The 9 holes of golf were great fun. The grounds are maintained to a good standard and some of the holes are really challenging. A great day out for any golfer. The food at the hotel was of a good standard and the rooms were clean and tidy.

Cheap and adequate. Very dated and the sheets had holes in although clean. Very musty smell from the sofa. Could hear upstairs. Bathroom dirty and some towels dirty. Staff very nice though. Curtains over blinds would be a lot better.

Friendly staff, big car park and big size room with two double beds. The room itself did the job but does need a lick of paint and some new furniture. Bathroom shower needed a good clean. Restaurant closed very early.

Had a large party there recently, food ok but not great service good. Split level room not good for large parties. Water glasses not clean. Disco deafeningly loud.

Bed was no better than a camp bed, food mediocre, seats in restaurant appalling, was told if needed put another cushion underneath if not high enough (was there to eat )felt like sat on the floor o contact by staff upon arrival for breakfast, the whole place is in desperate need of bringing into 21st century. Overall staff seemed happy when not dealing with customers,

We came here 3 weeks ago and really liked it, so we booked again. But a few hours in wish we hadn't bothered. We came on the 2 night unlimited golf as before. Can't fault the staff they are great. When we rebooked we were not told that we had to order our evening meal by 5.45 as it was a Sunday. So when we got here we found out we had limited time to get 9 holes of golf in. First golf buggy had a broken clip so could only secure one bag, back to reception to get another. Moved all equipment across onto new buggy, this one didn't make the first tee, just died on us. It was after 4 by this time so no time to play golf before the early dinner time. It's 19.12 and waiting for the owner to come and see us as we are very disappointed. I am happy to put another review on here if there is a satisfactory conclusion. Update, on our review. The owner came to see us at breakfast and we chatted through everything, he has made amends which we are more than happy with. Thank you.

The room was fine...clean and tidy. Just a pity that there is so much litter and rubbish around...not a great advertisement. Just do the basics of sweeping the entrance road and picking up litter daily.

This was a lovely place. The room was clean and welcoming, plenty of complimentary tea, coffee , biscuits and bottles of water. The food in the restaurant was amazing and great value and the staff were wonderful, highly recommend it.

Stayed in room 10 and it was a lovely. It was clean and warm and a bit of a wow when I walked in. Everything about this room was perfect for what we wanted. Only slight downside was the mobile reception, but that isn't to hotels fault ;)

Went for Christmas Day lunch . It was ok at best Food edible most of it was frozen food. It was swimming in gravy not choice it was put on the plate before serving. I ordered poached pear for dessert but was told on the day they got none. But the main thing that got to us that there was no table cloths on the table no small Center piece not even a candle. We did get a cracker.overall felt there was no effort made to make the meal special. No I did not complain didnt see the point as what could they do on the day. But if we had not paid in advance I would being asking for a discount. Would not go there again .

50th birthday party !!! Function room looked amazing and clean . Tables were set out perfectly . The staff were all attentive and friendly and plenty of them to attend to guests at the bar. My birthday cake was superb as was the hot buffet and cold buffet . The dj was brilliant. Our room was big and clean. Breakfast was lovely. I have had my wedding evening due, 40th birthday party and now my 50th at the Mountain park hotel . I honestly can’t thank you enough for the amount of effort that goes into the organization of these parties . On my 50th Yan the hotel manager was superb he thought of everything and organized everything. I didn’t have to think about anything .I would recommend the Mountain Park as a fabulous venue for any special occasion.

Pros: Great location. Excellent view from room The staff are the strength of this place. They are the nicest and most accommodating. Big kudos to them. Good English breakfast Ample free parking space Cons: This place is a party venue. For majority of the nights we stayed there, there were late night parties. People drinking and making a lot of noise right under our window. We couldn't sleep before midnight on these nights. No telephone in the room. Need to walk down to reception for anything
