Cosy and a great site for popping into on a dog walk for a well earned pint!

We had the pleasure of visiting this cosy pub today. As soon as we walked in we were greeted with a warm coal fire and atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and we would like to give a special mention to the lady behind the bar who kindly leant us a phone charger. It was dog friendly and Poppy really enjoyed it there. It was also great for watching sport. We all had a panini which was nice...we will pop in again if we are passing.

Been in a few times lately, great welcome, superb atmosphere, locals really friendly a top local pub. Will make it a regular drinking place.

Friendly. Warm. Fun. Good music! A wonderful little country pub with a happy atmosphere. Good walks near by and dog friendly. Indoor fire darts board, jukebox and big screen. A park behind and a river running down the bottom side. Parking available although the road is narrow and steep. A great little local pub

Traditional pub no gimmicks good quality reasonably priced ale and lager.

Traditional pub, just drinks and snacks, very friendly barmaid. I would like to have a more food choices, however this was just a pub.
