Great lunch after a walk in the snow. Love this community run pub. No score for rooms because we did not over night.

What a beautiful little find, We found The Raven Inn and had a beer. The staff were very nice and friendly. Sunday roast was being served until 3-30pm. It's closed on a Monday. We will be back in the week for lunch. Looking forward to it. X

The Raven is our go to pub when we are away at the caravan. The pub is community ran and a real integral point of the village. All the staff and users of the pub are welcoming and to make things even better, they are a dog friendly pub. The choice of drinks are well varied and the food is first class. The portion sizes are ample and we particularly love their roast dinners, haddock and chips and the little baskets of scampi. We are so lucky to have this on our doorstep and would recommend this pub to anybody.

Been for Sunday lunch today (17th July 2022).All the staff were fabulous, friendly and happy with a bit of friendly banter. The lady who took our food order explained that the sharing platter starter had been taken off the menu due to the main chef being on leave.....Well, if he cooks food to a higher standard than his replacement, one can only wonder what the quality is like. There were 4 of us and we shared 4 different starters. All were perfect in both quality and presentation. For mains, 2 had lamb shank, one had ploughman's and I had roast beef...again all were amazing, in fact to get beef to be so tender it must have been slow roasted for days !!!. Absolutely fantastic and at just over Β£125 with 3 drinks each, great value. Well done ladies and chef, you all excelled. Will certainly return again. Not a bad review from a grumpy old Yorkshire man but credit given where credit is due πŸ˜ƒπŸ‘

Lovely, out-of-the-way location but good use of the car-park and frontage to cater for the inside-outside-inside Covid nonsense 'rools' these places are forced to deal with. Quick service and nice food, albeit limited to Paninis this particular Sunday, due to restrictions. I bet these pubs can't wait for tomorrow and the end to the more ridiculous and arbitrary end of the Covidiocy spectrum..

The Raven is 16th century Country pub with roaring fires and hearty food. Its location in the village of Llanarmon nestled in the Clwydian hills is idyllic. The service is excellent and staff are friendly.

Cozy pub, friendly staff, and nice place to stay. Beautiful village, and the pub is situated across the street from an 800+ year old church

George Orwell describes a fictional, utopian perfect pub in his 1946 essay "The Moon Under Water". Well I've found my Moon Under Water and its name is The Raven, Llanarmon-yn-lal. How could I improve this place? Move it 2.9km closer to the Offa's Dyke Path and make the beer free.

Dropped in for and evening meal and I must say it was absolutely fantastic! My girlfriend and I both had the steak and it was amazing, cooked to perfection and the starter of porkies was beautiful! Excellent place and will go there again!

Such a find!. Community pub with community spirit. The food was good and there was plenty of it. Staff seemed to thrive on being busy. Plenty of atmosphere too. Community shop nearby too for last minute walking essentials.

Cute little pub, which according to the sign is older then the US! Worth a visit if you’re driving through, or just want to experience a nice local.

My other half and I had the Sunday lunch last week. I had the roast beef it was excellent. It was melt in the mouth delicious, the Yorkshire pud was the biggest I've seen and that too plus potatoes and veg were excellent. My other half had the lamb shank and he said that it was delicious. We will definitely be back. Well done best Sunday lunch in a long time.

Very friendly community pub. Lovely food. Beautiful location. A clean, comfortable room with a kettle, fridge and microwave. ( No toaster - so the Booking.com email needs updating).

Wonderful community run pub and restaurant, staff are warm, friendly and welcoming, food is of a really good standard. Booking a table in advance would be advisable, as this place is popular, for good reason. πŸ‘

Used the place as a Half way location to Tenby, it was a great place, to find, good parking, and the room was fabulous , with a good range of kitchen ideal, for the basic breakfast and hot food of an evening great comfy bed, lots of space, a full modern shower , no fuss , checked in fast , and job done. Short drive to stores and eating places, if desired , The bar is cosy , with a good selection of drinks . would stay here again if the need arises

Booked here for B and B, agreed arrival of 5pm. Pub closed, sat outside for 2 hours, no food. Helpful local saved the day by ringing around other local pubs for food and even dropped us up there!! - thanks very much Chris.

This is a community venture and is well attended by the locals, so book a table. The food is good. Breakfast is a bit limited, so buy something at the local shop.

Lovely atmosphere, friendly service, reasonable prices, great portions and the food was fabulous. We declared it the best Steak & Ale pie and Sticky Toffee pudding ever. Even the peas were delicious.
