Proper traditional pub. Very welcoming and it has that country pub feel. Open fires etc, proper beer too. We had baskets of food but only took a picture of the homemade scotch egg. All the food was great, chips were especially food. All in all a great pub and worth a visit if you're nearby.

Came to this Pub by appointment after a long "Geocaching" Walk, with our two Dogs. Excellent food, a warm welcome. Could not believe the quantity and quality of the food, Brilliant. Thanks.

Quality old school free house. About 3 ales on really well kept. Been in the good beer guide for years and has won loads of awards. Log fire throughout the year. Two areas inside to sit one with a TV and dartboard. Sheltered smoking area. Food on weekends and does barms/baps /batches throughout the week. Really friendly landlord and staff. Very interesting and chatty locals. Very welcoming. Can keep van overnight with prior permission. Very highly recommended 🍻 🔥 🎯

Beautiful and cosy with open fire, traditional unspoiled pub. With a friendly, welcoming landlord Rod. Open for take away beers. (Need your own bottle) 😁 Beer is always spot on. A selection of barms at reasonable prices and basket meals at weekends. Can get very busy at peak times but everyone is welcome.

A wonderful, cosy pub. Friendly staff serve up local beers and great chip butty's.

The most wonderful old fashioned spit and sawdust pub with rarely a gin and tonic in sight. Excellent landlord who keeps excellent beers.

Well, I can't give a comprehensive review, as having walked 3 miles to get there, they didn't take card, so I couldn't buy anything. I know it's in rural Wales, but it's also 2018 and they have a website, so I didn't think it was that big an expectation... That said, it seemed pretty old school, and a bit run down. Wasn't a hugely welcoming entrance and bar area. I'm unlikely to visit again!

Quiet little pub in the middle of a country road. Dropped a n for a quick one after a walk out. More for locals residents id say but staff were very friendly. Didn't order food so couldn't say but looks good on others pics.
