Amazing room super clean, had a fan and tea and coffee (not the cheap stuff). Hosts are lovely the breakfest is supreme almost 5 star. Plenty of hot water and nice oversized towels. They even have usb's in the wall sockets now that is rare :).

We had a great stay at this lovely guest house.the room was good, and the beds where comfortable. Breakfast was gourgous. The hosts were fantastic, and made us feel welcome. My husband and i stayed for one night with are rottweiler, and enjoyed staying. Its location was fantastic! We will definitely be staying again in the near future, and would highly recomend. Both Dave and Trish made our stay at the Hillcrest a memorable one for all the right reasons. We had a lovely room with a comfortable bed (slept like a log comfortable). Everywhere clean and cosy. And to top it off we enjoyed a lovely full breakfast, perfectly cooked and plenty of coffee. We were travelling with our 2 Scotties and Dave and Trish made such a fuss of them. Pets provide so much love and support to owners and it is so nice to see them treated and welcomed in such a genuine way. Everything to praise and nothing to complain about the Hillcrest.

My husband and I absolutely loved staying at the Hillcrest guest house with our 3 dogs. We had a nicely decorated dog friendly room with use of a spacious area at the back for the dogs to run and go toilet. Dave was friendly and very laid back. Nothing was too much trouble. It's in a great location with ample parking and is in walking distance to all amenities. Our room was lovely and warm and the bed sheets were of the highest quality. There was a good selection of fresh fruit and cereals as well as a thoroughly enjoyed full English Breakfast. We would absolutely recommend staying at the Hillcrest and will definitely be returning.

Beautiful little dog-friendly guest house with welcoming, kind and thoughtful owners and a yummy breakfast cooked to your own liking. Situated in the stunning Welsh countryside in Llangollen, the town is well within walking distance. Superb experience all round. The family room was a bit chilly but it was blowing a gale the night we stayed!

Our first stay over in Llangollen, perfect.Trish the owner gave us a warm welcome and provided us good local knowledge of where to visit and dine. Breakfast hit the spot. Our room was so quiet and comfortable. Left our car on their car park for our stay, 200yds to town centre. Happy days. Returning already.

Nice clean, tidy rooms . Within walking distance of the town. parking at the back is up a narrow driveway to the side of the house.

Jan and Pete plus Eric🐕 love staying at Hillcrest, we found this B and B some years ago and come back at least twice a year, for a 5 or 6 or 7 day break, Dave and Trish are realy welcoming and it feel homely. Stayed here for 1 night. The hosts were great. Dave was a very friendly bubbly person and made sure we had everything we needed. Breakfast was cooked to order with fresh fruit on hand and a selection of cereals etc. The guest house is well situated and has ample parking. Very dog friendly!

Just what we needed. Our room was a smaller one but no problem for us. The bed was comfortable and the sheets divine. The lounge was lovely and relaxing to sit and read with a bigger tv than in the room. Pet friendly and very pet welcoming. Thankyou for trying with the treats folks. Breakfast was plentiful and had a good choice of different foods. Our hosts couldn't have been nicer. If there was a down side it was that it's up a hill. But there was a couple of clues. Most of Llangollen is on a hill and it's on Hill St. But it was only a 7 min walk from the town and we left our car there all the time. No hesitation to return. Thankyou.

Stayed here twice now Dave is a great host makes you laugh. Trish's breakfasts are lovely. Our room was small but had everything we needed no veiw but that didn't bother us. Great value for money, would definitely stay again.

Third stop on the 'Offas Dyke Trail', only a half mile off track in the beautiful Llangollen. Mint clean room with O/S shower. Easy to arrange an early breakfast, very friendly and helpful host, can thoroughly recommend.

On entering the place the lady was there to give us our keys, she said hello to my dog as well and thought that this is a friendly places, but as the days went on to Wed someone complained that they didn't like my anxious little dog that got anxious when people came into for breakfast, and was asked to go for our breakfast before the women that had complained about our dog, but it is a dog friendly place, but we had to go when it suited this woman and I was not happy with the fact she made our stay feel uncomfortable in the end, other than that the room we had was plenty big enough quiet as we was at the back, breakfast was nice but they rushed us and other people with cooked breakfast, the man was very friendly but his wife want as sociable as he was, she was busy in and out, the breakfast room carpet had seen better days needs changing ASAP,
