The accommodation was both immaculate and stylish. The staff are friendly and responsive to any requests, they work hard and are fabulous. The owner clearly cares about the hotel. I was glad to get a chance to chat with him about my stay. The food is plentiful with copious choice. The garden is beautiful and very well tended, providing a great place to relax and enjoy the breath taking views. They are very dog friendly and made a fuss of my dog which he loved. Should you wish to venture outside, you will find a walkers paradise. It really is a hidden gem.

We didn't actually stay at this hotel but rented the cottage next door. We did visit on 3 occasions, once for a evening meal. Every visit came with a lovely warm welcome, good selection of drinks. Inside and out was beautiful, clean and came with fantastic views. The evening meal for 8 people was excellent, food was amazing and the service exemplary.

We have just returned from an excellent two night stay - what a gem of a place with a lovely ambience. Customer service is outstanding with Allan and his dream team staff, friendly, efficient and very professional . Special mention to Jessica - our dog adored her - this is a genuine dog friendly hotel where we were made to feel very welcome . Breakfasts and dinners were fabulous with an extensive choice , generous portions and beautifully presented food. Our king room had lots of homely extras which were well received after days out walking. Set in a picturesque valley the hotel has lovely views and has easy access to the Llangollen Canal for walking . Thank you for a lovely relaxing stay - we will be back !!

Lovely BnB set within the Welsh Hills. Check in is a strict 3pm as we arrived shortly before this and were informed to come back at 3. The rooms themselves are nice with an excellent selection at the minibar (complimentary shortbread and flapjack went down a treat). The wall between the room and corridor was thin and as our room was one of the first we had to put up with a lot of people passing in the night. Additionally the bathroom was pretty chilly so it was wise not to spend to much time in here, otherwise the room was good and the double bed was soft with a good duvet. We stayed for the evening meal and received excellent service from the staff and the food was good value for money. The same can be said for breakfast where we were again very impressed by the service and food on offer. The bar has a good selection of drinks with a wood fire which was a nice touch. A side note would be that you have to take care coming into and out of the car park as if your car is fairly low(merc a class), like mine then it is a risk of hitting this on the curb. Overall a good stay and would recommend to friends to visit.

Exemplary service by happy friendly staff throughout the hotel, from arriving at reception, the bar, dinner, breakfast, and checkout. Food was very nice an great value with DBB option. One nite stay is not enough to fully appreciate all the Mullberry has to offer, but was all that was available as we booked last minute. Very spacious room bright and airy and spotlessly clean. Attention to detail for comfy stay including dressing gowns, mini bar fridge..sweets chocolate chilled drinks crisps nuts. Tea, cake and biscuits, and cafater. Also, doggy goody bag with treats and...a ball..! Also sausage and dog biscuits for our dog at breakfast. Also bowls and dog towel in room..! Very thoughtful. Lovely shower/bath and toiletries. Loved the rubber ducks in bath...!Tranquil place with Lovely contempory lounge and dining room with garden and countryside views. Every consideration is well thought out. Everything in the website description is an accurate and honest account of this wonderfull hotel. The management and all the team should get an OBE for public service. Definitely reccomend and will return for a longer stay, without doubt the best place we've stayed in Wales. Julie and Derek and Riley our dog... sincerely thank the whole team for a truly great stay.

Found this place on Secret Escapes and it is a little treasure. All the staff were so nice and helpful. Food was fab. Not the easiest place to find but ideal for a short break for walking or visiting Snowdonia.

Visited once due to the positive local reviews. Our first visit was bliss. Super friendly and helpful staff, a great garden for us to relax in. We had such a pleasant and lovely time we have since been back again and this time we ate too. The food is great! And the portions are very good. Its a really varied and interesting menu that caters for the many dietary requirements out there. Looking forward to going back! The sandwiches are brilliant!

The staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful. The service is excellent. My room was modern, clean and comfortable with a lovely bathroom with both bath and shower. All the little extras in the room made my stay even more comfortable. The restaurant is very good and the food is excellent. The quiz night in the bar was really good fun. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in this area. Would definitely come back to revisit.

Pretty little B&B tucked away in the Wales countryside, trip was postponed due to Covid. Allan is very quick in replying emails and sorted our rebooking, no fuss at all. We went with my little baby for his first overnight trip and it was memorable, even though it rained most of the time, we had a lovely stay and a delicious dinner. Everything is clean, we felt safe. Will return for a longer stay next time!!

Spent 3 nights here. Very quiet location, beautiful views. Room spacious and very clean. The fullest in room fridge we've ever seen! Chocolate, sweets, crisps, soft drinks and alcohol! All on an honesty system. Even a pint of proper milk to use with in room hot drinks. Huge flapjacks and Welsh shortbread! Food was very good with plenty of choice at breakfast and dinner. Staff were all extremely friendly, very efficient, a credit to the establishment. Good access to walks and close to National Trust properties and other places of interest. Will definitely be visiting again.

We were fortunate to stay at the Mulberry Inn while on a Back Roads Tour. The rooms were spacious and clean. The food was fabulous and the owner Allan was extremely gracious. They offered a laundry service which for us made the stay more wonderful. This was our favorite hotel on our 11 day tour of the UK back roads.

Amazing weekend by Alan and his staff. Lovely hotel, spacious rooms, fully stocked fridge with loads of lovely touches. I have to say I'm struggling to explain how much I love coming back to this little gem of a hotel. Its just a true sense of quality and by the way, the scenery is stunning!! Would reccomend to anyone interested in treating themselves to a relaxing weekend break.

Very nice stay. Lovely friendly service, many nice thoughtful little touches about the room, absolutely delicious food. Way off the beaten track, you have to know it's there but by the full car park I'd say loads of people have made the discovery. Very good centre for walking in the area.

We've just returned from a two night stay at The Mulberry Inn. We've been lots of times before, but we don't think we'd find anywhere this good anywhere else, so we keep coming back! Once again, we just can't fault anything about this place! Allan and the team are friendly, attentive and professional and nothing is too much trouble. The 'unseen' staff e.g. housekeeping and chefs do an outstanding job too. The rooms are immaculately clean and well kept. The food is fantastic - so tasty and such a huge choice on the menu. Everything is cooked to perfection and presented beautifully. It's in a lovely spot - the Ceiriog Valley is so pretty and it's a great centre for exploring other parts of Wales too. Thanks for another lovely stay - we can't wait to come back!
