Stayed
here
as
a
base
for
a
short
break
in
the
area.
For
five
nights
as
a
bed
for
the
night
it’s
spacious
enough.
The
team
are
friendly
and
always
smiling.
The
location
is
a
bit
odd,
what
could
he
described
as
an
old
service
station
on
the
main
road,
but
the
services
have
closed?
There
is
a
Burger
King
next
door
which
opens
after
breakfast
and
closes
at
8:30
pm.
Food
is
impossible
therefore
here.
As
it’s
on
a
dual
carriage
way
it’s
a
fair
drive
to
get
anything
so
you
need
to
plan
ahead.
The
breakfast
pack
is
poor
value
considering
you
can
get
all
the
items
for
four
people
at
a
supermarket
for
the
price
of
one
pack?
The
room
was
ok
but
damp.
Not
helped
by
the
fact
the
window
barely
opens
and
the
room
never
sees
sunlight.
The
back
of
the
tv
has
never
been
cleaned
as
evidenced
by
the
dust,
the
mold
in
the
bathroom
has
been
painted
over
and
the
bedding
felt
damp.
Typically
four
bodies
of
the
family
staying
in
travel
lodges
warms
the
room
to
requiring
the
fan.
In
fact
the
opposite
was
true
here,
we
ended
up
putting
the
musical
heater
on
to
try
and
warm
the
room
up!
Coming
home
our
toddler
and
I
became
ill
and
it
was
deducted
by
the
hospital
it
was
caused
by
the
damp
in
the
room.
Four
weeks
of
trying
to
get
toddler
to
take
antibiotics
was
not
fun!
Thankfully
they
offered
a
third
refund
although
the
fact
they
contested
the
damp
and
despite
photos
evidencing
it,
made
it
all
the
more
frustrating.
I
have
seen
painted
over
damp
before,
hence
why
I
knew
to
take
a
picture!
Just
accept
it,
and
pay
a
contractor
to
remedy
it.
Overall
if
they
sort
out
the
damp,
I
would
stay
here
as
a
base
for
a
night,
but
lack
of
food
is
an
issue.
