Unpleasant owners. I was served the wrong breakfast but decided not to inform the owners until after I had finished my meal so that had something to complain about. This is a totally normal thing to do. My boiled egg was over cooked. I was offered another one but declined so that I could complain about it on here. I would expect a 4 in a Bed Winner to have much higher cleaning standards.

Stayed at Hope Mountain for a couple of weeks whilst working in North Wales. Lovely quiet location - very nice, comfortable and clean rooms/bathrooms. Kitchen has everything you could need. Couldn’t have asked for nicer hosts - Rob and Jo were both very welcoming and helpful. Bill and Ben the dogs also made me feel right at home! Look forward to staying again if I am in the area☺️

Sorry, I did not stay here but I felt you came across as really decent people on four in a bed. I felt you come across as genuine and also I would not hesitate to come and stay at your B&B. Great animal lovers. I would like people to note that almost 99% of people who have left negative feedback have never stayed in the B&B. I felt expect for the 2 Italian guys that the other two sets of participants were vile. Especially the common rough one with glasses ( husband looked liked he came off a travelers camp)the other two who you could put cream in front of them and it would turn sour.

Chap who runs the place is a very unpleasant individual. Made for an extremely unpleasant atmosphere. Self centred and arrogant. If you need evidence of this I refer you to the episode of '4 In A Bed'.

I was looking to book in this area but having seen the programme 4 in a bed and how the couple behaved, i was appauled and took a dislije to the couple. They did not deserve to come joint winners. They were definately playing a big game. I will not be booking here, sorry. However i decided to change the area of stay and booked in The Troy B&B. It was fantastic x

Just back from a two night stay here with my husband we were attending a wedding in the area. What can I say? the B&B is fabulous, our room was perfect, hosts are amazing and the location is utterly stunning. Nothing was too much for them even offering to drive us to the wedding venue. The breakfast was perfect and really set us up for the day. Thank you, we will certainly be back.

My partner and I booked Hope Mountain for a long weekend away in North Wales. The whole place was absolutely stunning with a homely vibe and both Jo and Rob were lovely hosts. They always greeted us in the morning with coffees made and a delicious breakfast. Our room was immaculate and very spacious. Location was quaint and peaceful, also ideal to get to other nearby towns/cities. Jo and Rob also gave us plenty of recommendations for things to do and some nice walks nearby. Thanks for having us- we will definitely be staying again. We would 100% recommend this place to anyone looking to go to North Wales!!

Nothing was to much trouble , really looked after us ! Rooms are modern clean and spacious, breakfast was amazing, beautiful location ,beautiful house . Really lovely people!

Lovely hosts in amazing location. Good size room and tasty breakfast. Cuppa and Welsh cakes on arrival were a welcome treat.

Absolutely brilliant B&B, very biker friendly, bikes parked in barn. Rooms are very comfortable and very well appointed. Really well looked after, we were taken to and from the local pub! Great value highly recommended.

Very clean and comfortable in a lovely quiet location. Hard floors make it pet friendly, but noises carry a bit. Not a problem once everyone has gone to bed though. Jo and Rob are really helpful accommodating hosts. Tasty and satisfying breakfast. EV charging available from 13A socket in the carpark (but I didn’t have to use it).

I stayed here as a student for 2 months and the hosts were so accommodating, really lovely people. The room was very tidy and clean and the area to walk around nearby is beautiful. I had an amazing time staying here and I'd love to stay here again if I ever needed to come back to Wrexham. One of the best bnbs I have ever stayed in :) would highly reccomend to anyone reading this.

A fantastic and secluded little B&B tucked away in a pocket of rural Welsh countryside. Rooms were perfect for what they were needed for (our stop after a 16-mile hike) and were quite fancy. The B&B itself is lovely - it has wonderful surroundings and a traditional welsh pub nearby Breakfast was delicious - as is the rest of the food served here (particularly the cinnamon bakes!) Service is fantastic; the place is run by a lovely couple whom really know how to treat their guests. All in all perhaps the best B&B I have been in to date. Would thoroughly reccommend to anyone looking for a quiet night or two away! Also, an ideal stop for anyone walking from Chester to Llangollen.

Such a beautiful and well maintained property… awesome location… amazing hospitality … beautiful ambience…delicious food. Jo and Rob were amazing hosts. Location feels like you are way out in the country side but in reality it’s only a few minutes drive to the local village. I had such a lovely the stay here. Would absolutely highly recommend everyone to stay here.

Just had the pleasure of staying at Hope Mountain B and B. Fantastic location, beautiful clean room with everything you could possibly need. Breakfast was lovely with fresh ingredients cooked to perfection. Jo and Rob are wonderful hosts, nothing is too much trouble. Jo even ran me to station etc. Frank and Ben are absolute stars. I had my dog Luther with me and we were both made to feel so welcome. Definitely the best B and B I have ever stayed in. Would most definitely recommend

Nothing negative. Generous breakfast. Delightful hosts, Jo and Rob. Extremely comfortable bed. Large bathroom with a large bath and shower. Refreshments in bedroom. Clean and honestly nothing bad to say.

A marvellous place. We've only been there one night (4 to go). Very satisfying and ample breakfast. Lovely roomy bedroom, en suite bathroom. An interesting home and lovely interesting owners. Very highly recommended.
