everytime ive come here the staff are always strangely rude regardless if they're new or not

Never a bad experience at poundbakery, and best prices around just usually run short of food, they need to bake faster.

Staff need to check stock in the fridges, bought a pack of 2 Bavarian slices today. They had yesterday's use by date on them.

We bought four pasties from the Wrexham branch there like pulp unknown content were extremely Ill sickness and toilet issues it’s new years tomorrow they’ve poisoned us. Also noticed the pies went on the very bottom shelf of the oven which was crowded on every shelf with the other food items no heat thermometer was used when they came out how they know the insides where cooked was a guessing game , Standards are zero in my eyes no plastic gloves worn staff rubbing there faces and handling food wouldn’t give it to my dogs No way are we going there again they’ve lost our custom december 2022 We’re getting in touch with the health food standards don’t understand 5 stars no way if your Ill put comments on here

I saw with my own eyes that the employee who was at the cash register and took the money from the customers immediately afterwards went and prepared food without washing her hands

I used to enjoy their food but for a little while now there pastys are just full of mush and not a lot of flavour. Prices gone up but quality gone down. Also staff can be really rude and make you feel very rushed, like you don't even get time to check out what they have.

Love the food from here, Good choice, and very tasty. Hot pasties are lovely. Staff are very polite and friendly and store is always spotlessly clean

Visited here whilst in the area, tried quite a few things over a couple of days, food lovely and friendly staff, seem to sell out quite early, will definitely come back again when in the area again.

Usually good value. Today bought 2 custard slices 1 full size 1 no custard. Will go in again but will watch what goes in the box!

A bakery with extremely cheap prices for a wonderful variety of tasty foods, such as pasties, hot dogs and bakes. Very quick service time and approachable staff. Good portion sizes in comparison to the food. Other food options are available, like a meal deal or a salad. I recommend this bakery when looking for cheap prices for food.

The "new" shop on Hope Street is better laid out than the old shop which was too narrow and cramped. I love the carrot cake which is always very moist and tasty, but I'd give the potato and meat pies a swerve as they're extremely bland.

Staff are constantly talking and never seem interested in getting their cue down. Asked for 2 vegan sausage rolls, unfortunately they don't know their food practices as they were touching pizza. I explained that I couldn't eat them as they were no longer vegan and the lady bit back at me saying "they are vegan actually". Clearly your staff need more training in all areas.
