Fantastic building, beautiful inside and has the connection to Yale uni in the USA 🇺🇸 the guy who had Yale uni built is buried in the grounds

Just a few things to mention, the church is stunning full of history. The vicar is so nice and so helpful they have even provided leaflets in Welsh and English so that you can read the history. Nice little (well big find) in Wrexham.

Attended a christening here and the vicar was a very funny and friendly man who put everyone at ease. The service was beautiful and the church was lovely.

A very contemplative place. Recommended! (On a side note: the main gate was locked whilst we were still in the grounds and we had to use a wheelie bin to help us climb over the railings to escape!)

A real gem of a place hidden in plain sight gets over looked with it being right in the middle of Wrexham but it is one of the best churches in the area the inside is simply stunning

Beautiful church in Wrexham that rightly gets its fair share of visitors. I particularly loved the angels on the ceiling and the stained glass window memorial to the Welsh Fusiliers is a beautiful piece of work. The volunteers were happy to answer questions. I loved the fact that daffodils had been placed on the graves for St David's Day, lovely touch.

A beautiful and overlooking church overlooking Wrexham. Granted, it’s not as imposing or grand as York or Westminster but it has a quaint and peaceful atmosphere within and around the church grounds. Admission is free but please do donate to this wonderful place if you can.

There are several things to like about this parish church in Wrexham. Firstly the sense of community with a small but friendly refreshment area. I loved the doom paintings from the 16th century and font from a similar time period. Amazing that they are still there after all this time, although the font was lost for about 150 years! Good stain glass windows and memorials. Well worth a visit!

We attended a christening recently and it was such a wonderful setting and the vicar took a lovely service. Limited parking could be an issue.

1st covid wedding there last week and couldn't have been any better, we couldnt stop looking at the inside of the church it was so so beautiful and the service was conducted so beautifully with the vicar (if that's what he is called) he took the service so natrually and made everyone feel at ease with a cheeky smile here and there as he was taking the ceremony, it was amazing, couldnt have been anymore perfect

St Giles Church in Wrexham is one of the seven wonders of Wales. The architecture is fantastic and it's where Eliu Yale is buried, he is linked to the USA. At this moment in time St Giles has a festival called,.... The Festival of Angels. It is running until the end of the year. One angel represents One Death in Wales from Covid 19. At the last count recently 10th November 2021, there have been 6,272 deaths here in Wales. It's worth a visit.
