A Saturday afternoon with not a full restaurant. We were welcomed to most tables with dirty plates on. Our table which was reserved was stinking. It had sticky ice-cream all over it and mashed in chips on the seats. The menus have not been cleaned in weeks,they were covered in sticky stuff and even hair and food stuck to them. The whole place was absolutely disgusting. The toilets welcomed you with the smell of urine and it was also all over the toilet seats and floor. The food was also disappointing although it was cheap. The bar ran out of napkins so was placing folded blue roll on the tables. The whole place needs shutting down for a few days and a deep clean needed urgently. It is very run down. Management really need to get a grip on standards Before someone is ill from this place. I will never return.

Very polite staff. Good food. Steaks were delish! Good prices and kids meals were nice. Our first time there and we loved it. We didn't book and found a table, most were reserved but they were very friendly and genuinely seemed pleased to have our custom. We had steaks, one serloin and one rump cooked medium rare. And three kids meals which was the mini mixed grill. Great value for money and piping hot. Steaks were so tasty.

Went to the Bryncoch inn with my family ordered our food the starters came after our main. Food very poor, guy behind the bar no customer skills. Nice venue but needs to be looked at.

Amazing value for money especially the 2 for offers. Kids are for £1. Food was piping hot and tasted great would definitely recommend. Restaurant and toilets were clean and tidy and the staff were very friendly and welcoming again. Will be visiting again soon

We had our wedding party here the past weekend just gone. Natalie and the team was absolutely amazing, so very kind and welcoming. Nothing was to much trouble, the decor was absolutely beautiful and it looked amazing. I would recommend to anyone looking for a smaller party function to get in touch with Natalie, when emailing my ideas nothing was to much trouble and she welcomed anything I said on board! Usual fast food type of pub, plenty of parking and lots of tables. Our first time and had purchased a Groupon. Took some time to book us in as only one person knew how too, but all got sorted. We booked a table on-line in case it was busy and would recommend it at peak times. The venue could do with some re-decoration but it's typical of this type of pub. There's a good choice of food and some great deals. We had the southern fried chicken for starters and steak and surf all was very good and would recommend a visit. The only issue for me would be I would like my larger colder. Staff were friendly and maybe a little short handed. We will be back.

The guy turned up with our starter 3 times that was wrong everytime and on the 4th attempt was finally right. After our main turned up i had asked for medium steak and my mrs wanted well done but she had prawns and sauce on hers where mine was plain, my steak was over well done and my mrs ended up with medium steak, we couldnt swop as i didnt like sauce and prawns and we didnt complain because we had places to be

I must say I could not fault the staff. We were a group of 17 people and they all couldn't do enough for us! Nothing was too much trouble. Considering we were a large group all our starters and main courses came out all the same time and each course was hot! Highly recommend and thank you very much x

Been here a few times lately and no complaints. Staff are helpful. Recently updates some of the menu. Good selection of food from pub classics to dirty burgers, surf and turf and steaks. Decently priced, would recommend.

The bryn has always been an amazing place but since the new land lady took over its awful. Such a shame. We went there as a last resort as its within walking distance. There is only ever one person at the bar and the young girl thats there too is very lazy and walks away from the bar instead of serving. So many people used to go there now its sad the place is being run down. You need fresh faces in there and get rid of all the lazy staff currently working there.

It's very big, always has a mixture of people and an atmosphere that suits all age groups. The quiz is on a Sunday night. It's a sizzling pub and I usually go for either of the two plates of nachos. The staff are lovely and the place is always clean and tidy. The parking at the back is huge and it's a good place to visit for Sunday lunch or on a sunny day as the outside area to the front has plenty of seating.

My daughter and I called in for a drink the other evening. Nice atmosphere enjoyed a glass of wine. I can't comment on the food as I didn't eat. Although the food looked nice. Its my daughter and her partner's local, so it must be good. Will call in again

The sort of pub where you know what you're going to get, at a good price. I often go with a large number of people and if we all order within 5/10 minutes of eachother, all the meals come out together which is great. I know a lot of places will treat them all as individual tickets. Good prices, good options, nice atmosphere for a casual meal.

Absolutely dreadful food, reheated cooked and over fried food. Chips cold. Burgers dry and tasteless, gammon chewy as over cooked. Chicken burger more than twice fried and dried. Order incorrect . Not busy but still a 45minute wait, didn't mind, but not for the quality of the food given.... No queue system, people literally just go to bar and whoever server picks is next ...

Had a meal here on 19/4 around 1pm…. Very disappointing. The lasagne was burnt on the sides and the bottom and had to be sent back. By the time a new lasagne (which was also burnt) was sent out, my 2 family members I was dining with had already eaten their meals. The lasagne was in a very small dish and didn’t even fill it. It came with no side salad just very underdone garlic bread. My partners steak was extremely chewy, ribs were very dry and a very small portion (4 ribs, supposed to be a half rack) and the onion rings were storm cold. The extra peppercorn sauce was forgotten about so the food had already been half eaten before it came out and was watery and tasteless like it was an afterthought and not prepared ready. However the sweet potato fries were nice. The restaurant seemed extremely busy and staff looked run off their feet and flustered. Not worth £39,will not be returning

The service is excellent and the food always comes out nice and hot and quickly. The staff is very punctual to take your order. I had Samantha and she was wonderful

Staff very helpful and friendly, food was delicious except second visit and second time my steak wasn't to my request and even when it came back out it was very gristly and chewy, everything else spot on! Definitely going to be our go to pub for meals in future.

Really good value for money. Brilliant service on Wednesday 31st May when I came in for food. Was served by Sophie and had a lovely chat with Sam when she brought out my food. 5 stars as they were very accommodating and friendly.

I give this place a solid 5 stars *****. Why? Simply the best. Best staff, great building layout and amazing, wholesome pub food. With vegetarian options..of course. This is the kind of place that does not need to try. It just is. Friendly, approachable and accessible for wheelchairs. A traditional dark varnished wooden bar, bordered and etched mirror, reminded me of happier times. Topped off with the best asset you have. The welcoming barstaff - Zena, Sam, Michael and Ryan deserve special mention. They are a credit to the place! I will be recommending to all my friends. Thank you for looking after me. I will return. Big smiles BIG SMILES!!!! 😃

Recommended to adding buttermilk fried chicken to my bacon waffles, hot and quick. Manager Natalie was very welcoming, and her team were lovely and friendly. Pretty hanging baskets out the front and cosy sitting, stayed for a few lunchtime cocktails 🍹 thanks for the hospitality 😘

Tricky to find anything good to say.. Queue to order drinks was long all night turns out it was because the manager left only one till key so only one of the four bar staff could serve No fish, no lasagna, no scewers which where the meals we wanted. Eventually ordered food after queueing again, arrived 30 minutes later, one meal short so by the time that arrived 15 minutes later we had all finished so my wife ate alone. Ordered desserts which they forgot we ordered and eventually came nearly 25 minutes after ordering. Really poor, the server didn't even know what was in the dessert.

This review is based on previous visits and the Halloween party on Monday 31st. Food here is terrible, no matter how many times we come to try again it never gets better. However we decided to bring our daughter for the Halloween party (last minute). The person organising the event was great and did an excellent job keeping the kids entertained and busy. The Halloween party side, highly recommended. The food, I wouldn't waste your hard earned cash.

First off the food was fantastic, steaks are really done well to request i'e a good rare when you ask for it Instead of a medium rare. The calamari was a great starter with very generous portions, however the bar can be very busy at times but it's to be expected in a family style pub all around a worthwhile visit

Quiz and bingo very good. Service at the bar was terrible. The drinks we bought were flat..Peroni, vodka and whisky with mixers. Two of our party of 4 had upset stomachs. These issues will need to be addressed before we go back again.
