Do not ever think to stay one night in the hotel The hotel staff parked my one month new car on Aug 15, 2022 in the parking and in the next day in the lobby I found out a scratch in my car door leather with “X” mark with blue pen. The GM Irfan is the worst Manger ever to take care of hotel customers in the begging he was admitting and showing help then he wanted to flip the table against me saying how we know it is not your fault and tried to blame the customer with calling police which I am looking for since it is the hotel mistake. Then he gave me his back and the security staff took the car outside to car shop trying to remove the mark but couldn’t and I am calling the police now. I believe this GM took his Hotel Management Certificate from the deepest trash in the world does not know how to gain customers satisfaction. They did not please me with anything and wasted my vacation for 3 hours. Moreover, you have to wait minimum 10 min for elevators to come plus one out of 4 is frequently broken plus very very crowded place even if not in season and its beach full of rats.

Such a great choice for families your kids will love it. So many activities like painting , horse riding, clowns , feeding the birds , cartoon characters, outdoor cinema , water park and play station, soft-play and so much more. Their is also the Treasure Island water park so great for the little ones. I appreciated the private ladies pool and sea side so lovely. 👍🏻

We just checked into the hotel today. Upon arrival, the hotel let my wife check in because she got here earlier than I did. That was awesome. The staff seems very nice and friendly. However, my wife spoke about our room being dusty when she stepped in. As we’re getting ready to start our evening out. The tub isn’t draining, the sink isn’t draining, there’s a leak somewhere in the bathroom, and the bathroom lights go off even when you’re actively moving around in there. This is a 5 star resort. But the amenities haven’t been that so far. Hoping that it gets better, because we’re here for a few more days. If it doesn’t, we may have to relocate expeditiously.

I was invented by a friend of mine for his son's wedding party. GPS tracking for the resort location was on course. The wedding party was held in a large hall outside the main building. The atmosphere was perfect, it was raining outside the hall. I do recommend people to have a wedding party and even any birthday party.

Excellent resort, family friendly with many many amenities to offer for guest in and other many for guests who are just stopping by. 1) The prices are little high but it worth it! I booked a 2bedroom suite with partial sea/park view it was cheaper the full view of the sea/park and we end up getting a great view of the sea but not the park, the suite was very spacious, comfy and clean. For cheaper I would advice you to book a room in advance and don’t choose a specific view 2) the resort is suitable for families/ friends and women. The have many private area & activities for women only! 3) Tons of indoor/outdoor activity! From the too many type of pools like for kids, private for women, deep for a grownups, indoor and outdoor! The water parks offer a few days a week dedicated to women where the use curtains for more privacy. There is a a family and a private beach for ladies as well! Spa, restaurant, and sometimes the resort has shows at night on the beach! 4) beach activities like u can book jet ski, etc

It’s really disappointed since we staying in your apartment initially the smell was not good and took long time to be sorted out, then the leaking from the ceiling, and there was a problem in the drainage of the toilet. Sorry to say,I didn’t have a comfortable staying in this apartment . For your information the toilets weren’t sealed as any five hotels and soap was opened which was disgusting. Otherwise the staff were good and friendly. Thank you for your understanding

We made special memories here. Ocean front, gorgeous pool areas, beautiful restaurant, excellent service with historic, very well appointed team. The only thing I can think here is that people are trying to keep this resort a secret. Do not miss out if you are headed to Lagoona beach. Live peacock roaming around in the well kept lush green garden, if lucky you may enjoy lunch in the outdoors while they dance. Pony rides for children live macaw parrots to entertain, secluded and private dining for couples as well. Private beach to enjoy the sand and lots more entertainment to come.... As always, thank you. What a beautiful environment you get to work in every day….the island, the hotel, and people all make it so very special.The staff was very attentive, professional and friendly.

The property is beautiful, a perfect place for a family getaway. A place filled with fun activities. The rooms are apartment style, spacious apartments with rooms having sea facing view which is so gorgeous to look at. Adults have alot if sports activities too, kids have a small water park too. Also, the breakfast buffet is so delicious and has lot of options to choose from . The service at the check in counters can become better, I believe the reception staff and reservation staff needs more training, all other staff at the hotel are well trained and extremely generous and courteous. Do visit this place for a great family time

I don’t liked the experience at all, all shops and resturant said it opens at 9 am but in fact it never open until you asked! The apartment is not clean, I shocked from the level of the cleanliness, they even have a cockroach in the apartment!! We booked because of reviews which unfortunately isn’t reflected the real!! Their swimming pools are too much chlorinated. The whole area is very old and seems no proper maintenance. My advice if you want to visit them never pay your whole stay in advance, you should should check your first night then decide, because my standards could be different than yours!

Amazing place. Loved every second spent. Every night had a theme. Enjoyed movie night with my 5 year old. The pirate park was amazing. Also enjoyed the water sports. Would definitely go there again.

So disappointed. Elevators were too crowded. Each time we had to wait up to 15 mins to get our turn. Reception was busy too. Restaurants were unnecessarily overpriced. The living room’s AC had no controller, it was freezing and we couldn’t turn it off or change the setting. Checkout was awful. The woman working first gave us complementary hours over the phone and we went by it. Never went over the given time. When we went downstairs to checkout, they insisted we pay for those complementary hours given. We paid 35 BHD for those hours. The workers also basically called us liars when we said the woman gave us FREE hours. NEVER come here. So many other options in Bahrain. So disappointed with the treatment and I’ll never come back again.

It’s NOT a five star deluxe resort. We were disappointed. not recommend it for any body. The most annoying the strong smell of the cheap air freshener everywhere. Caused headaches and allergy.

Visited this hotel twice: once during Bahrain National Day yesterday and four years ago. Highly recommended for families with kids; there are numerous activities, including water games, indoor and outdoor swimming pools. The apartments are spacious and equipped with all the facilities you need, the staffs were friendly as well. Your kids will undoubtedly enjoy their stay. If you're interested in outdoor water games, it's advisable to visit between September and November as the water tends to get too cold afterward.

Overall our stay was pretty awesome 😍 our 3 kids absolutely loved it, even dragged us into the water park when it's cold😆 majority of the staff, 99% of them are all sweet, welcoming, and helpful. The food, also 99% of it, is also very good! Plenty of things going on around the clock for kiddos too. I would've given this place 5 stars if there wasn't trash practically everywhere... it needs a bit of work there. But that's probably my biggest complaint....the cleanliness and maybe a little bit of upgrades are needed. Other than that we were very happy. -The water park will be great when it's warmer....something that would be amazing seeing as we live in a warmer climate is heating the water in the waterpark, you'd get many more guests in the "winter" months. - the food at the restaurants and the dine in were all quite good minus our first meal it was pretty mediocre- this was from room service though. Everything we had at the restaurants after that was delicious and the restaurant staff is always very helpful and super sweet and kind. Extra loving to the little kiddos too🥰. -spa - Mio/Siriwan was "awesome" she gave one of the best deep tissue massages I've had in my lifetime and I have to get one once a month or so for a back condition I have. Big thank you to her and she is very very sweet too! Hope you keep her around🙏 - the rooms were big and open and definitely safe for almost all aged kids, the pillows were amazing (I opened them to find out what kind but the tags were off, if you don't mind sharing what brand they were I'd love it😆) the water was always Warm for showers and baths unlike most hotels where the hot water is cold by 4 minutes in. Thank you, my kids appreciated that. They were all pretty well kept too. Only issue I had was a family of 5 got dishes for 4🙈 may help to add more dishes to the rooms -kid activities- there's almost always super mario/Minnie and mickey mouse/tom the cat walking around. Pony rides every morning we were there along with feeding doves and peacocks and fish. A carousel, bumper cars and more. There's indoor play area for kids club(we didn't go though) and vr/video game area too. Overall we were very happy with our experience. Hope to come back to heated water on the waterpark next winter🙏💜

Its a great place for families the furnetur is a bit old with over high prices I tried the spa it was great exprience ,towels were worn out The breakfast has a great view The water park was the main reason I came and it was worth it

Perfect stay and specially for kids every thing was perfect , room,pool, activities, only one comment at breakfast cartoon caracters should not stay or gather kids in one corner so parents can take breakfast in calm atmosphere specially the musician was perfect songs for fayruz.

Went for breakfast at Aira. They had so many fun stuff gng on. There was bird feeding, lot of peacocks and other birds to play and take pictures with and other kids activities. We chose to hVe breakfast at one of the gazebos. The view was wow. The food was worth the price, good quality breakfast. Loved the English breakfast and French toast 💕

guys at the reception are the best, they offered a complimentary ride to the hospital when I asked where is the nearest hospital. Resort is clean and full of activities, they just need to work on their restaurants and beach club, ladies beach and swimming pool are very clean. But far away from each other. I had a great experience at lagoona.

I didn’t have to check out to do my evaluation. We rented a 3 room apartment. Stayed up all night waiting for the maintenance cus there was a water leak from the bathroom ceiling , the bathroom floor was covered in water . Eventually the water stopped for several hours and when we woke up the floor was covered in water again and we can’t use the toilet unless we wanted a free shower from the ceiling. Despite all of this restless night and an uncomfortable 6 adults with one functioning bathroom, they refused to postpone the checkout to 1230 h and the receptionist was so rude and hard to deal with. The housing furniture is scratched and needs renewal. It’s a huge resort with 4 elevators, we stayed in floor 16 and every time we had to go down it’s almost 10 min waiting and vice versa when we are going up. Plus the people using the pool and utilities are using the same elevators , so floor is wet and dirty . The resort outdoor is good, different swimming and water activities , if you want to discard the fact that the floor of the island needs maintenance. We ordered extra blankets and toothbrush, this came fast . I would say if you’re looking for a luxury resort this is definitely not the place . I wouldn’t recommend this or come back especially after the way the handled our situation.

Excellent resort to rest and recharge yourself with a very positive energy. Women's beach is just amazingly relaxed and clean, women's pool is just excelent, very good customer service, the team is really well-trained to make you feel like a king/ queen. I highly recommend this resort!!

Excellent family hotel , very friendly staff. I would personally rate it at 4 stars as it is not luxury compared to other five stars. However, if you are targeting staycation in Bahrain during the holidays, they can be considered five stars considering all the kids activities they organized

5 star hotel for families and children which is amazing, thanks to reception Mr. Ayuush and manager Mr. Yousef and all staff for there amazing services also they have a lot of events and facilities for entertainment we really enjoyed for adult and kids. I recommend this hotel for holidays

This is the worst hotel I ever stayed in. Beach is small. Pool is small. Old property. No food varieties. Only two restaurants and I tried the Italian which also bad. No taste. More over it’s very expensive and does not worth the money I paid. Will not come again.

An excellent and quiet place, especially for the family, with a wide variety of restaurants available and a very excellent variety in the swimming pools, especially for children. I did not live in the hotel, but from what I saw I think it is worth living in. The idea of ​​having animals is very beautiful and I loved feeding the fish. Is it worth its relatively high price? One of the best resort in Bahrain, suitable for families. It has a nice sea, pool, & a very Nice aquapark. Also the restaurant ( da rosa) has a very delicious mix grill. The room is spacious & very clean & has everything we need for a short stay there.

Great experience with the kids. The staff were all accommodating. However, the Iftar buffet I booked with was cancelled though they tired their best to served us with alacart ( the experience of buffet during Iftar is quite different). We have a spacious room, overlooking the beach, pool and the waterpark. Kids love the indoor pool, outdoor pool and the waterpark.

This is one of the best Resort I have ever been specially for kids. I will say if you have family with kids (4-14) then it’s the best choice. Besides, it’s provide a privacy for women. It was great experience.

Great for families with kids. All activities were determined for their vibe. We enjoyed our stay.

Went there for one night. The apartment had sound system that doesn’t work. Asked for the technician 3 times but no one showed up. Asked for cups and ice 3 or 4 times and no one showed up. I had to go to the reception by myself to ask for the things I needed. Poor service, very poor. The lobby was not taken care of and full of water and dirt. Never going back to that place. Also in the reservation it said free valet parking and when we got there they said the don’t have valet.

Place is ok but can be improved further. Add a few more fine dine restaurants and a couple more slides to the water park and it will be great. Access is an issue at the moment

I highly recommend this Lagoona Beach Resort. Amazing resort itself with a lot of amenities, activities for families especially for kids including arcades, soft plays, 4 different pools with the waterpark adventure plus jacuzi plus the beach is awesome. And most of the activities are free which is really great. We don’t have to leave the resort and go anywhere around Bahrain. Bunch of different restaurants inside the resort and a lot of little shops to buy different kinds of things and snacks. All the rooms are big, clean and with full kitchen. And what makes the hotel great are the staff in Lagoona. They are all so helpful and greeting and smiling all the time. And with my experience with the busy check in, I highly commend Ms. Vebierly Fernando, who went over and beyond to accommodate us. It’s our first stay here and she explained thoroughly everything we should know around the resort. She deserve to be the manager. We stayed in other hotels before as we didn’t know about the Lagoona yet. This will definitely our go-to hotel now everytime we are in Bahrain and stay as much as we can in the future as this resort is the best for family and our kids especially. Food is mediocre. Even how busy it can get, staff are still friendly and accommodating. From arrival to leaving, they really took care of us, they are the front assets of Lagoona; Abu Tahir-took care of our luggage,Fahad- the clown, very good with our kids & Mr. Kim Magdaong-great in coordinating and really good with his job, Ms. Vebierly-who really took care of us and provided all that we need from beginning until our departure. Kudos to the management!

Actully i just do check out from lagoona beach after miserable night i ever had, First when we do the reservation they promise us for many thing and allowed us to accept one or 2 person after we paid and take the rooms every thing is change,and they follow the kids during they playing and disturbing them and ask them where is your mother through the whole day.which is lead me to become a nervus all the time. They laying that we had a huge number in thr room and we try to explain to them that is wrong and not true but they was rough and very roud especially the tunisian or algerian in the reception. They way actully not profisional and in front all the custuner in the looby. Really am planning not to come again and reserve the resort. I hope you the nessessary action because this behaviour will lead to have a bad announcment regarding the resort. Thank you .

Resort is very nice especially after the pirate island has opened up. We stayed there with family and had a two bedroom apartment. Some points to mention 1) The toilet light works on sensor so if you stop moving the light switches off. Theres a black out point under the shower where the sensor does not detect you so you need to wave your hand for the light to switch on. Although it can be done , the task of repeatedly doing this was annoying at times. 2) considering the fact this is primarily a water based resort you are expected to come to your room with wet clothes. There is no clothes drying line in the toilet. If this was there , it would make things easier. 3) There were some cutlery missing in our room , but we did call room service and they were prompt in providing it. 4) The water resort is very nice , with very friendly life guards . The pool is shallow so its suitable for those who dont know how to swim as well. The water did require cleaning but this could have been also l due to the rush during the holidays. Overall a fun place to visit with kids.

Highly recommended for kids and families. A lot of activities for kids. You can easily spend 1-2 days inside resort only. For vegetarians, they prepare upon request, inform them in advance. We took 3BHK for 2 families. Grocery stores were nearby. Jufair and manama were around 25 mins drive. Overall good experience!!

Good day out for the family. Staff are very friendly. Water park is clean and safe.

My friend was kicked out multiple times regardless of the person she is visiting. The workers are nice but the managers are not welcoming. I would like to get in touch with the owners or someone in a higher position. They lost a long-term customer, denied helping them in taking out the bags during the check-out and did not allow visitors. There was no reason for them to kick out my friend. They did not even let her know why. She wasn’t able to give the person within the hotel some food. They didn’t allow even giving a worker and sending it to her. Just because the facilities are nice does not mean that you don’t need to be respectful.

Very nice place to chill out with the kids occupied with full water park and a lot of kids Event , The apartment was very clean and occupied with everything that you need, with a reasonable price, The breakfast was nice with multi – dishes, I’d like to thanks Mr saqeer and Fatima for their help.

Nice place, fullbof activities especially for the kids, have many places for all, quit seating infront the sea to relax, very clean rooms and very kind staff specially Nisha from the front desk as we got upgrade to higher room to satisfy our needs to have balcony.....

Its a lovely place with a sea view. The breeze at the beach is super. The beach resort has various locations which one can enjoy like a ladies beach with a swing, table settings where one can order food/coffee and enjoy and some areas where one can have party. The resort has lovely peacocks even white ones.

The music in the pool area is too loud. I was in the 19th floor and the music was as if it next to me. Talked to them and didn't respond.

Room was very good...But the view was blocked by the ongoing construction site opposite to room... Staff was very cooperative and nice but the breakfast was not good...The morning tea was very very bad.... But a very nice place for staycation...

Good place to be with family... only negative is that they only have one pool which is temperature controlled. The water park is good. What I found to be interesting in the number of lifeguards who wr around. The staff is extremely helpful. Its worth a visit.

We used to have no doubt in coming to this place when we are on holiday. Our last visit was a disaster. The water park was on maintenance and we were not informed when we booked a month earlier. Our visit was in Ramadan and we paid the room fee with breakfat included, the hotel manager refused to serve us the iftar and instead they served suhoor which was served in the room and consist of labnah eggs and beans and bread ( not proper meal that prpeare you to gast the next day). When we use the other pools we have to ask several times for the staff to turn on the filters and water heater and we were ignored then was responded by a rude philipino lady. I would not recommend this place again to anyone.

Actually one of the receptionist lady, she is not behaved professional, and instead of a warm welcome we had a fighting with the lady as she could not explain our correct charges for the stay. Her attitude is like she is the owner of lagoona resort. So our first impression was very very bad. Lagoona should appoint receptionists who can talk nicely with customers. Others are OK.

It's a great hotel for families the whole hotel is working to make kids happy. all my daughters love it. The rooms are clean and the service is fast . The woman spa is very good. The only downside you need to have your own car if you are planning to explore the city it's a bit far.

The resort is an excellent place for a nice vacation. The staff are friendly, its full of facilities and activities, its suitable for conservative families and the best part is the private ladies beach and swimming pool. It's really a great place for families. Thank you Eva (staff member) for the special arrangement & welcoming board/cards. We really felt special with the hospitality 😁 We were dining at Area Restaurant (the Indian restaurant) with seaview. Really amazing food, fantastic presentation & very delicious 😋. The staff were very helpful & the chef was keen on welcoming us as well. Additionally, there is a nice little water park with many kids activities, play area, DJ, indoor & outdoor pools, private ladies shore & ladies night as well. The rooms are actually apartments, with 1, 2, 3 bedrooms & a penthouse accomodating 8 adults. Also, there is a great Spa with fabulous facilities that anyone would enjoy. Really great experience👌

Our stay was outstanding thanks to Ms. Muneera! She took very good care of us when we faced a difficulty that could ruin our stay at this luxuriously beautiful hotel. She reassured us, made us feel welcome and well-taken care of and indeed she did take very good care of us very courteously. She is an asset and we will definitely come again to Lagoona beach.

Great water park, loads of options to keep kids busy. Ample swimming space along with slides and private beach. Reception staff was bit off mood. Rest services were good.

-The resort is fantastic choice for families you will not need to leave the resort at all everything the kids want are there swimming pool,kids clubs,painting,animals,birds,shows,etc.. -They are also concern about children safaty There are many lifeguard for each swimming pool to watch the children. -Regarding the apartment thier bedrooms and livingroom are specious and clean it really suits the big families. -The staff are very friendly:). I am lucky to have my vacation in this resort ❤️😍

I hope you can make the pool water WARM!!! every pool the water is cold. Kids cannot endure it. ! It's good somehow u have a playing area for kids. But its not fun in the pool 😕 it's so cold. 💔 Hope u can make controlled temperature pool. Even one pool.

I was expecting a 5 star resort, Although the resort was great, but not 5 stars standards! A lot is missing as essential in the rooms, For example, I cant order better pillows! And thier pillows are not healthy (very soft) In the bathroom, you wouldn't find mounts wash or weight scale or ears cleaning pods ,,, The list is long but the place is very good for kids under 15,, they would love it

It's a good resort with a good prices (maybe because it's not their season). I reserved a one bedroom apartment and it was big and quiet. Also it has a refrigerator, washing machine, microwave, cooker, kitchen accessories and more.

Very nice place! My son really loved it and was very sorry when we were leaving...and he insists we must come back ))) as for everything was well and everybody were very friendly and welcoming...water park is not big but very nice and funny..pools are very nice...Thanks to all managers from reception and special thanks to Habim from Italian restaurant...You all were very kind and helpful..As my son says we must come back for more )))
